Initially I gave Service Mark a great review, but after getting an estimate from them for a hot water heater and subsequently finding out that they didn't install the condensation line for the heater correctly, I have to say I would not do business with them again. Their salesman told me he had never seen a 4" chimney liner for a hot water heater before. He told me I needed to have the liner replaced leading to a $2400 estimate for a hot water heater and new chimney liner. I ended up having another company install a new hot water heater for $800 using the existing 4" liner, they also let me know that 4" liners were very common (they said the Service Mark guy was either lying or didn't know what he was doing). They also didn't install the condensation line correctly on my heater. When I went to sell my house the U and O inspector told me that the condensation line was not allowed to drain into the sewer line, it's supposed to drain outside. I called them to see if they would fix this, but they never called me back. I would not recommend using this company and have no plans to work with them again.

These guys just finished doing a complete tune-up and repaired deficiencies in the Boiler for our hot water radiator heating system. They were all great to work with - from Bob E who came out initially to review our system and provided a detailed proposal, to JR and Luis who did all the work, to Dan who provided us with an annual Heating and Airconditioning contract customized to our needs. These guys cheerfully answered my numerous questions and took their time in looking everything over and explaining it to me. They showed up on time, were very considerate of my home and were a pleasure to have in my house. I am glad to have purchased the annual contract and know that they will take care of our home systems into the future.

It was very easy to schedule and they were on time. We had a set appointment time, rather than a window, which I really appreciated. The service technician was great, he wore his shoe coverings and gave me a well-explained quote. They're very professional and courteous. They will be coming back to do the repair.

The company was a life saver. Our furnace stopped working during one of the coldest periods of last winter. We discovered the problem on a Sunday, in the evening, and figured we wouldn't be able to get service until the next business day. We called just so we could get on what we figured could be a waiting list for Monday, but they said they could send someone later in the evening. The repair person came, fixed the problem, gave us some safety advice on his way out, and left us with a home that was beginning to warm up.

Fixed our furnace. I don't remember the cost, but it was less than $200 and seemed quite reasonable.

Servicemark has been professional since the first estimate we got from them when we were looking at purchasing a new home in Newtown Square. Chuck Ammon met my husband and evaluated the HVAC system in the home. He identified issues and provided an estimate that we used to negotiate our purchase. Once we were in the house, we contacted Chuck again to meet. He brought an installation manager with him and the two of them combined were respectful of our home at all times and genuinely interested in the best solution with respect to performance, cost effectiveness, and an aesthetics. I was impressed at that point with their knowledge and explanations of the issues and possible solutions. We took over two months to decide to move ahead with Servicemark, after getting another quote from another well known company, who tried to "sell" us that going with Servicemark was a bad idea. Chuck addressed every concern and question we had about the project with patience and information. The installation was even more impressive. Any employee that walked into my home was courteous and caring of my home, wearing shoe protection, and cleaning up each day to my full satisfaction. They were in my house for a little over 3 weeks. I could write all day complimenting them all. They have been back again to finish a few additional items and to correct a failure we had inside our unit. Each time someone from ServiceMark walks into my home, I am as impressed as the first time. They hire guys who care and who are knowledgeable about their business. I would recommend them over and over. We are very happy we went with ServiceMark for our HVAC needs.

I was very pleased with the quoting process and install of our new air conditioner. We got 5 quotes for our new system. All were professional but Bob Malinowski with ServiceMark in King of Prussia, came highly recommended and after meeting him I was very pleased with his honestly and responsiveness. ServiceMark won our bid due to reputation, quality of work, and cost competitiveness. The team who did the install was efficient and clean (sweapt up debris, cleaned around the install area and used drop clothes and booties while inside the house). I will be using them for ongoing service and any other needs. I did call them to quote and later fix a cracked waste pipe. Again was happy with cost, service and the efficient work of their contractors.

ServiceMark (Stewart Bailey) listened to our heating/AC requirements and translated them into a cost effective system that fully satisfied those needs. The installation went smoothly and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. The two installers were craftsmen, responsive to our suggestions, taking pride in their work, and very knowledgeable about the system. Since installation, the system has worked as promised. Two subsequent, minor service problems were immediately addressed and resolved. Overall, we are very pleased with ServiceMark and have, and will in the future, recommend them to others.

I have had a service contract on my air conditioner with Service Mark for several years. I decided this year that I should also get a contract on my heater which I did. My heater was making a noise so I called on 12/24 but did not want them to come out till 12/26 since it was Christmas eve and the heat was working. The came promptly on 12/26 and quickly discovered they needed to order a part. They said it would take a few days which was OK with me. On Saturday 12/29 I got up to find my heat was not working and it was 57 degrees in my house. I called Service Mark an there was not much they could do as we were waiting for a part however they did send over someone with two space heaters. The part was not expected to be in until 1/2/13 but they found the part on Monday 12/31 and promptly came over to install. The service was excellent and they were very professional. Can't say enough how they went out of their way to get us a few space heaters to stay warm. We will continue to use them for our service needs.

I called on a Saturday, was quoted a price and warranty that compared reasonably to others I had found on my own. They came out that afternoon and installed the water heater in 2 hours. After that , the plumber evaluated a leak in my bathtub and replaced a part. It was $1200 for water heater with 10 year warranty and servic. I use this company for my heating contract. I have a deal with them to come at the earliest possible time so that I don't miss any work time.

Their service was fine. I tried calling to confirm the appointment, but was put on hold a couple of time and then was sent to an answering machine. All we wanted to do was verify that the appointment was still on and didn’t get pushed back with the storm that had just happened. My mom actually stayed at the house and waited on him and he did not show up till later in the afternoon. He never called till right before he showed up. I know he did have a busy day. We had no problems with the guy who showed up and did the work. I would give the technician an A on punctuality and professionalism, but the customer service side is why I lowered the grade.

I do think they are expensive. Also, when I want to get an appointment I have to wait. They do come out when something is wrong. They have stayed here for hours before to get the problem fixed and they do come through. They are very responsive when something is wrong, but the maintenance service I have to wait weeks to get the appointment.

They would come too late to make inspections. They had to tag our heater the last time, which we did understand since our filter wasn’t working right. Had they come earlier, it may have prevented the tagging. We had trouble with them being available. We could call to schedule an appointment, but the last time we called they couldn’t service us for months. They inspected our heater in February the last time we had them out. We personally felt they weren’t on top of what they were doing. They oversold us. They did come when they said they would come, but they couldn’t schedule us in an accurate time. The people on the phone not being pleasant wouldn’t have bothered me, had they got the service done. The technicians really seemed to be driven with sales. The company is clean; the technicians were pleasant, polite and would wear the covers on their boots. We felt like we couldn’t depend on them. They would send a post card to remind us about scheduling an appointment. I would call. We have changed companies and have been much happier. The relationship did start out terrific; it was just the last couple years that they were terrible.

The service was very professionally handled from the reception office to the service tech who came out. Work was well done, thorough and relatively quickly completed. Phone receptionist set up the appointment at a mutually agreeable date and time. And the service tech showed up per the schedule and, I believe, he called enroute to let me know when he would arrive. Very friendly, answered all my questions, wore "shoe booties" in the house. It was a very agreeable interaction. My only surprise was the cost of the refrigerant which apparenly has "sky-rocketed" in the past year--the other costs were right in line with the initial estimate--including honoring the "special price" for past customers despite the situation that I could not locate the piece of mail which stated the offer. As often happens, I found it after the service tech left. I am very satisfied with their work.

They have been prompt with their service and they do good work. We haven’t had any issues. We have an annual service contract on our air conditioning system. They come out for regular maintenance and even send out reminders to get the service scheduled.
