No service was performed. This store needs local support against the big box national chains.

I called several providers to find a company who could replace the screen in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. I picked Newtown Hardware. They quoted me a $30 price with a 3-5 day turn-around time. I dropped it off around lunctime one day. The next day, they called and said it was ready for pick-up. Overall, I'd say the staff could improve on their friendliness. They didn't offer to retrieve the screen from my car. They didn't hold the door as a manuevered my way through the doorway. They were just waiting behind the counter for me to bring it in. They didn't appear to be short-staffed or swamped by helping other customers. I honestly expect a bit of extra service when dealing with a local company, rather than a large superstore. But, the work was done early and a quality job was completed. So my overall goal was met.

NICE HARDWARE STORE IN THE CENTER OF NEWTOWN. PEOPLE ARE VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IN ALL HARDWARE AREAS.

NEWTOWN HARDWARE HAS BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS. IT IS AN OLD-FASHIONED HARDWARE STORE IN THE HEART OF AN OLD TOWN. THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT AND YOU GET A PERSONAL TOUCH FROM ALL THE GENTLEMEN WHO WORK THERE. THEY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS.
