Well mannered, friendly, punctual, quick. Vacuumed and cleaned carpets. Spot treated some areas. Gave us foot booties to use after cleaning. Cleaned up. My corner and wall board areas are still a bit dark but the carpets are old. We are very pleased with the results

Steve was our cleaner. He showed up exactly as promised. Personable, courteous and professional, he got right to work and had the job done in less than an hour. The results were beyond what we expected and we couldn't be happier with an aged carpet that has seen a lot of wear and tear. We'll take this kind of service any day.

We had some nasty stains on our white wool carpeting. they did an excellent job. Within a few days a few small stains resurfaced. We called them back and they sent someone out the very next day. I have never had such a great experience with carpet cleaners. They took so much quality time to get it right. The best I have ever used.

Used Thomas carpet cleaning on the basis of reviews on Angie's list. The price was the same as other service providers in the area and they had no specials for upholstery cleaning. The serviceman arrived precisely on time. He immediately went to work. My beige sofa and loveseat is spotless. He was very thorough, polite and respectful. He gave me a free bottle of spot remover for future use. I highly recommend this company.

My sister needed her carpet and sofa cleaned. However, I live out of town and she had no idea who to call. I found Thomas Carpet Cleaners through Angie's List and I can completely understand why they get such good reviews. I dealt with John Thomas throughout the process and he was very professional and the work was completed in a timely manner. I would definitely use Thomas Carpet Cleaners again and would recommend them to anyone who needed carpet and furniture cleaning.

I requested a quote by email and we scheduled at time for the cleaning. Steve arrived on time and went through the house to look at the carpets. I had requested a quote for several area rugs in addition to the rugs that were cleaned. Steve recommended that i have the area rugs dry cleaned because he was concerned that the type of cleaning he would be doing might ruin them. I appreciated his recommendation and then he proceeded to clean the stairway, den and sofa. He did an excellent job. I will definitely have them back in the future.

From the first contact, they were professional and on top of things. We played telephone tag for a bit, but they kept trying until they got a hold of me. Arrived on time, cleaned everything really well and things felt nearly dry in about 5 hours. The price was great for all of the work. Could not be happier.

I left a message for a quote and they called me back almost immediately. They were friendly, courteous and answered any questions I had about the service. Price was great. I scheduled them for the work. The technician arrived on time, did a wonderful job and my almost 10 year old carpets came out looking brand new. Would definitely use them again!

I left a request on their website about 6 AM and they responded around 9 AM and I set up an appointment. The service man (I forgot his name) showed up just prior to the appointment time and setup. He cleaned all the carpet in the house in about 30 min.; there was no furniture in the house. After the cleaning the carpets looked new and smelled fresh. I am very satisfied and would recommend them.

Their technician, Mark, was on time and he did an outstanding job on both my carpets and tile cleaning. Mark was very professional and when he was finished the carpets and tile looked like new.

The serviceman arrived on time looked at the carpets and said they would come out beautifully. In addition to the stairs and hallway, he cleaned an 8x8 area rug that was badly stained. It took less than an hour and everything came out great.

This service came highly recommended to me by family members. I found the staff to be responsive and courteous with regard to my phone conversations with the owner, as well as with the young man sent to my home to do the job. The staff person arrived at my home on time, was agreeable without hesitation to clean extra items I added to my original list (for additional charges), and the cleaning job was done in a timely and thorough manner.
I was a little confused by the manner in which the coupon was applied to the work done, so I was a little caught off-guard by the overall price, but I did add items at the last minute to my list of things to be cleaned, so I will be sure to confirm list and cost prior to my next service.
All-in-all, I would definitely use this service again, and would recommend this service to others as well.

I had an HVAC company offer to clean my carpets after staining them while moving a malfunctioning furnace out and a new one in. I found Thomas' on Angie's list and was thrilled with the reviews, so I e-mailed them right away and got a hold of John the owner. He transferred me to Ken since he was going out of town for a bit. I spoke with Ken over the phone who was not overly friendly or seemingly interested in receiving my business. Perhaps he was just exhausted from all the business they already have judging from the reviews. Nonetheless, I needed to schedule the cleaning, so I was quoted $150 and an additional $15 for a odor neutralizing in one bedroom. So, we scheduled the carpet cleaning for a week later, a friday from 12pm-1pm time slot. The tech arrived a couple minutes before 12pm and was ready to work.
Overall, once we got the outside hose spigot thawed, the process took about an hour for the whole thing and it looks fantastic! The tech told me we will need to stay off the carpets for 4 hours and then can walk on it with socks over the next 3-4 hours and then it will be completely dry (about 7-8 hours). I am excited to have carpets that look brand new and a puppy room that no longer smells like stinky puppy.
I was a bit put off though when he asked where my hose spigot was, he told me that they have one truck that has a water tank on it but that is it and his does not. Living in the City of Philadelphia my water charges are unsightly (about $100-150 per month for two people in a brand new, energy efficient house with an instant hot water heater). In my conversations with John and Ken, the topic of water never came up.. No one bothered to mention that my own water would need to be supplied and furthermore no one said that I would pay less for using my own water than someone who received a tech whose truck had a water tank.
I called Thomas' and was told that the machine uses about 40-50 gallons of water, and that the owner would be calling me on Monday when he returned about the water charge. Also, my invoice showed 3 bedrooms even though my email and in my telephone conversation with Ken I stated two. Fortunately, the tech took $25 off the bill and said they usually charge $25 per room. The invoice said $119.95 plus tax for 3 bedrooms, which to me if you do the math: $119.95 + 7.20 (tax) = 127.15 divided by 3 is $42.38 per room not $25, a difference of almost $20.

I recommend this company's work, it just would be great if they discussed the water thing during the quote process so that people aren't paying the same price, while some get the water free and some pay for it out-of-pocket.

I spoke to the owner over the phone, who was able to give me an excellent price for his services based on my description of the job, the carpet and tile, and the dimensions of the rooms. The employee who performed the services was exceptionally careful about furniture, did a perfect job of cleaning both carpets and kitchen tile, and explained precisely (and, it turned out correctly) the drying time---quicker than prior and less successful jobs that we'd had done with other companies---and the steps to take as it dried. The carpet and tile both look wholly new again. This is a professional, skilled, courteous, and thorough company.

I contacted Thomas Carpet Cleaners based on their very good reviews on the List.
I applied to get a quote on their website and the owner got back to me same day- within a couple hours actually. He gave me a quote sight unseen based on my description of what we needed done.
Just based on my own schedule I waited a few days before making an appointment, but when I did so they were very helpful and efficient.
Our 'technician' (Bob) called me the morning of the appointment to tell me he was on his way, although he did get stuck in traffic.
I won't fault him for that, and he was very apologetic.
He did a very good job, cleaning an entire basement apartment suite in about 45 minutes, and taking a mover-shoe stained carpet back to pristine white.
He also went out of his way to make sure not to let our cat out, and told me that none of the products he used would be harmful to people or pets. Not necessary steps but appreciated.
Once he was done, the bill was for exactly what I was quoted, plus tax. I am not sure how they deal with people that underestimate the task when asking for a quote, but I like that they stand by their original estimate.
I should also note that the bill was quite reasonable, especially compared to some of the bigger name companies who also have a minimum job amount.
Given the excellent job they did and the very reasonable price, I'd hire them again and recommend to someone looking for this service. They may be coming back in the near future for a full house cleaning.
