Te owner is a jerk. He stated that I needed to get a new saw since i "burned up my fairly new saw with not having the proper gas/oil mix. Since I buy the mix from them, and had just had the chain saw tuned up by them, I knew he was full of ****. I took it to another Stihl dealer down the road and he tuned it up for free and refused payment. Guess who has all my business now? Oh, and Ive used the chainsaw about 10 times since. Not a single problem.
Description of Work: Chain saw wouldnt start after it had just been tuned up for $90 by Niemeyer. I had not used the chain saw since the tune up. This wouldve been first time and it would start.

Always very helpful. They're repaired our tractor since we bought it. The mower stopped working. The engine would not turn on. They sent a flatbed truck, winched the tractor onto the truck and drove away. Couple of days later they called and gave us a reasonable price. The tractor was returned two days later and the driver put it into the shed where we keep it. He did that without being asked and without getting a tip.
Description of Work: repaired lawn tractor. Picked up and dropped off at our home.

Description of Work: I was a long established customer of Niemeyer. Among various purchases, I bought a new chain saw from them less than one year ago. I have had continual problems starting this saw. When it again refused to start last week, I took it to Neimyer for assistance. They said the saw was ‘flooded.” Imagine my surprise and dismay when Jack, the service manager, decided to charge me for starting my less than one year old flooded chain-saw. I expressed my displeasure to Jack who then proceeded vigorously to argue with me. Jack then became exceeding patronizing in his comments. I am 72 years old with a medical condition, an experienced handyman, well-educated and therefore not stupid. I calmly communicated my annoyance at this inappropriate behavior. Jack then quickly stepped toward me and, with his nose within six inches of my face, uttered additional, sarcastic and condescending remarks. Needless to say, that was the end of the conversation. I left a message for the owner, Karl, to call me. Karl never called me. I will never deal with The Niemeyer Corp again!

Avoid any involvement with this company. I placed an order for a John Deere lawn mower with this company and made the payment in full at the time I ordered the mower but was given no delivery date. The salesman I worked with told me he would call me at the end of the week with the delivery date. After receiving no call from the salesman I called back the following Monday and was told it would be delivered on Wednesday and to call back to schedule the drop off (it would have been nice if the saleman had been professional and called me back, but I may be expecting to much from a retail business). I called back on Wed. morning and was told no shippment had arrived yet but was expected later that afternoon. Amazingly, 30 minutes after the first call I had with the company the salesman called me back to tell me the shippment had arrived but my mower was damaged in transit (it was dropped by the shipping company and the frame was bent). Again he couldn't tell me when a replacement mower would be delivered. I told the salesman that I had learned that John Deere had a waiting list for the model I had ordered and asked if that was the reason he could not confirm a delivery date. He admitted that was the cause and I told he I understood and would have appreciated knowing that at the time I placed my order so I could have made the proper arrangements I needed on my end. He offered me a loaner mower to use which I accepted and we made arrangements for it to be delivered the following Saturday morning. When the loaner was never delivered I called the salesman back to check on the status, he told me it would be delivered in an hour and if something arose he would call me. Three hours later after no mower and no phone call I went down to the office to cancel my order and obtain a refund. When I relayed my story to the general manager and explained my displeasure with the lack of communication and lies by his salesman, the manager showed no concern, told the cashier to refund my money and walked away. Unfortunately the best expierence I had with this company was obtaining a refund. This company has no sense of customer services which is unfortunate because all it would have taken to retain my current and future business is to have been treated with honesty and not lies.

I selected them b/c they said over the phone they could have it done in a week. I got my equipment back over a month later. Everytime I called I got a different story. After my equipment was there for a week I got a call that they found some other things wrong with my mower that would cost more to fix and add a few days to the job. I agreed to only some of the repairs. One of the things they wanted to fix on my mower was my bag connection (my mower is a combo bag for mulch). I knew my bag connector was slightly busted but since I always mulch anyway I said "No". They also said it would cost $300 to fix the bag connector. When I later followed up for status I was told they were waiting for a part for my blower. When I pressed they said the blower part was an air filter. It supposedly took 3 weeks for this filter (which I probably could have purchased at a home improvement store) to arrive. One day I called and they said that the filter had arrived but it would still be a few more days because they had not worked on the mower yet either b/c they were waiting to be able to do both at once (meanwhile I had been requesting that they fix the mower so I could pick it up asap so I could cut my lawn). After I got the mower home I noticed that they had further broken the bag connection making it worse than what it was when I brought it in, so much so that it was affecting the mulching process. I went on Toro's website and found the parts needed to fix it for about $80.00. The parts arrived in less than a week and I fixed it myself in about 15 minutes.
Description of Work: I brought in my mower and gas blower in early April for a tune up.
