CURRENT UPDATE Hello Thank you for clicking on my Angies List Profile. I am back and still in business. The Covid thing has been trying. As noted below many things have changed. This is an update to that. I am back to me, responding, looking at, estimating and doing the work. Quite overwhelming for one person. Reputable help is extremely hard to come by. Because of that I can only get to so many a day, week and month. That has become a problem for some members here. I’d like to thank you for your understanding and do wish I could get back to each and every one of you in the time frame desired. I sadly am not meeting that demand. I encourage you to text and email me outside the Angie’s List app. When I sit here and scroll through the hundreds, I get lost in the madness. I’m now getting “F” ratings based on work I’ve never done and it’s gonna make my Angie’s list presence disappear. I personally don’t see that as a fair shake being that I’m completely upfront about how things go and are going with updates like this one. Thank you all and be safe. I still put out top notch work and will continue to do so even though I may go away in Angie’s list. *COVID 19 update. Hi folks and I continue to thank all of you clicking on my company for the work you desire. We have always provided the best possible service we could, based upon the understanding, the goals and end product desired,by everyone of our customers. For ten years now ( Goodmudders officially started in 2010). This turned out to be the approach so so many of you wanted in a company you hire. I kind of expected that, to be honest. In fact,it was the image we chased. What I didn’t expect that is that so many of you had a hard time finding some who could do what I couldn’t do at the time. So many of you have waited, delayed and made your schedule around us!!! That’s amazing and truly something I would have never of seen coming. What that did though was put an extremely high demand upon us. The requests became never ending. I want to apologize for not getting back to those that reached out, did their best to contact us in the exact ways as anyone would. I had an absolute goal in the beginning of all this to never leave anyone hanging. I sadly could not keep up. Things went well for us. We adapted and absorbed all the bumps and bruises that came with growing. We used that to refine our ways. That’s until this recent ”new normal” we now ALL live with. Being in a small business and I personally handle the business side and communication side of this, when school was canceled for me and my family that squarely landed upon my shoulders. My wife is a nurse and her schedule could not change,so mine had to. There is so very much that change effects. My time is no longer doing estimates and defining scope of work it became digging in deep to learning elementary school all over again ( getting up to speed really) on how to home school my kids. This wiped me out to be completely honest. It will get better, I know but that became an overreaching reason for applying my time to other than Goodmudders. I’m not an essential business. Even if I was an essential business what I can do is limited. The amount of full days, and all over the map “times that i can” is a the new reality I find myself in. Another compounding factor is, its not just me. The ones I call on to help in this whole Goodmudders thing are pivoting their lives as well. It’s come down to me, what I can do and when I can do it. If you’re still with me after all the above, I hope you appreciate what I’m about to say. Building this Goodmudders thing is something I always and still do believe in. I was just a kid with ambition when this thing started. It came from nothing and was made into something. I have no plans of letting go and going out of business. I’m tried though, like never before. It’s almost gonna be a restart, in a different time, when this is over and a new wa

The workers were very professional and courteous.  The job was done is less than the estimated time.  I swear they left th carpet cleaner than it was before the work started.

Donny contacted me to come out and take some measurements. He provided me an estimate within 2 or 3 days. I decided to go with Goodmudders for my project and within 2 weeks his team was ready to install. It took 2 days to complete the job. They arrived when they said they would each day and left my basement cleaner than they found it. They were very professional in their work and overall very good to deal with. The final price was exactly what I was quoted. I could not be happier with the outcome of the project and would highly recommend to anyone. If I ever need this type of work done again I will definitely use Goodmudders.
Response from Goodmudders

"Member's were very nice homeowners to work for. They knew what they wanted, so there was no interpretation on my part. Member was a trusting homeowner that wanted the job done correctly and I believe we provided that to him."

The person I met was Don. He was very pleasant and professional. They responded quickly to my initial inquiry, came to look at the job, provided a quote and followed up on it. It was a 2-day job and they left the house in good order each day. We couldn't be more satisfied with their work - we recommend them highly.
Response from Goodmudders

"Member was super nice. The job here was something that is seen in older building renovations, where measurements are taken from an un-level floor for closet openings. The height is correct, just the header is way out of level and for bi-fold doors, the header must be level or the doors will not function properly. We had to take apart and rebuild the openings so the header was level which was an inch or so out. The end result:doors that open nicely and more importantly stay closed."

Goodmudders was great. Mark was right on time for everything. He and his crew did a marvelous job. You can not see one screw in the wall. I was afraid to paint the walls, they are so perfect. They were truly worth every dime spent to have this part of the project done. Truly professionals. Would recommend them to anyone.
Response from Goodmudders

"Member was very nice, though I never met here. She worked/lived out of state and we dealt with her family. The job was a drywall tape/finish/sand job that was hung by them. She was looking for a company that could handle the job without any problems and I think we gave that to her."

I am currently in the process of remodeling my house and am doing a few rooms each year. While I can do many things myself, I realized drywalling was not one of them. I used Angies List to get several estimates. I decided to go with GoodMudders, due to a reasonable price, vast experience with drywalling, and a 'can do' upbeat atttitude. The other contractors I interviewed seemed to view drywalling as a necessary evil and generally listed it at the bottom of the services they offered. I wanted drywall pros and GoodMudders made sense. They came when they said they would and put in a full 10 hours a day of work. They worked with a quiet efficiency that spoke of many years of drywalling experience. They were very meticulous in the details of drywalling as well as the installing of all the doors in the bedrooms. Needless to say,I am very pleased with their work. During the job and at the end of the job, they cleaned up the rooms and outside hallways which was very helpful. Dust and debris was never a problem. Donny and Mark of GoodMudders are honest, hardworking, 'salt of the earth" guys for whom I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to my friends.
Response from Goodmudders

"Member was one of the first that gave us a shot from Angie's List. He was a super interesting guy to work for. We had some drywall to hang/tape/finish/texture and sand. He had started the drywall hanging part and decided it wasn't for him. We also did some bi-fold door installs and room door install. He was great to work for and look forward to working with him again in the future. We were able to give Eric what he wanted:drywall done,no issues."
