I started the process of getting the iPod repaired by purchasing a $25 diagnostic service on March 3, 2013. The response from DigiExpress was prompt and professional. I had my iPod back in about one week. I was thrilled. It worked but the on/off switch did not have the same tactile feel and click that was characteristic of the original. In fact the On/Off switch was nearly flush with the casing and one had to use one's imagination to know that it had been activated. I report this to DigiExpress. They stood by their work and issued an RMA.. I was required to pay return postage (about $2.50) The part that they replaced cost $20. So at this point, I had about $50 into this repair. DigiExpress turned the returned iPod quite quickly. When I received it back the second time, it worked perfectly and I was quite pleased. All went well until about 2 months later when the iPod began intermittently shutting down. It would not restart even when holding the On/Off switch down. I had to put it on the charger to get it to power up again. This would happen about once a week for the next 2 months. Recently, I just happened to grab it in such a way that I realized that the cause of the shut downs was a loose touchscreen. I was then able to make it shut down at will by pressing on the touchscreen. Further inspection revealed that the glue that was used to put the touchscreen in place after the repair was not holding. This was today, August 7, 2013 (approximately 4 mos. after receiving the unit back from DigiExpress the second time). I called DigiExpress and spoke with a customer service person. She determined that the repair was only warranted for 30 days and that if I wanted to repair it again I would have to open an entirely new order, starting with the $25 diagnostic fee. Furthermore, I was told that the part that they replaced was excluded from warranty coverage and should it prove faulty I would have to purchase another one. Bear in mind that I treated this iPod with TLC.. never dropped and always in a secure place either in my pocket or clipped to my shirt, so I must discount mistreatment as the reason for this failed repair. I place responsibility squarely on DigiExpress. Needless to say I am quite disappointed in this development and hope that those of you who read this review will think twice before enlisting DigiExpress to service their iPod device.

Still waiting on finished product which is now not due for 7 to 10 days due to backlog. Sounds fishy.
Description of Work: I Pad repair screen cracked. It cost $30 to Ship, $30 to evaluate and $169.00 to repair. So far the process has taken 6 days and is due to take 7-10 days more. Use local resources. They are cheaper and faster. This place is a scam. Fortunately I paid with Paypal so my money is secure.
