Provider was able to schedule appointment quickly.  Arrived on time.  Services were completed within about 2 hours with no mess and no issues whatsoever.  Provider was polite and efficient and answered all questions.  Price was competitive and as expected.

He was very nice.  I was going to get the HVAC system cleaned but wasn't able to do that because my duct work was exposed.

Rich did a great job. It is a big house and he cleaned both basement and attic. The price was a little higher than what i had initially expected, but we are very happy with his job.

One man was here all day, his name was Halalan and he was excellent. We were astonished with how thorough he was. We even asked him to do some extra things and he was just helpful. He was such a nice person. They are well worth using!

Although there were cheaper estimates out there, some companies try to upsell you from the advertised price.  Superior Air Duct Cleaning is a first rate professional company that dleivers a service and does what they say at the price quoted.  They were very clean and any mess they cleaned up.  It took about 3 hours to thoroughly clean the ducts using two different methods.  One is like a extremely high powered vacuum and the other loosens any built up debris like rust and particles stuck to the inside of the ducts.  We were very pleased with Dean and Jason and would highly recommend their services to anyone who wants an honest price, quality workmanship, and noticeable results.  We were told that airducts should be cleaned every 7-10 years and we are confident that the job will not need to be repeated for many years.  Keep up the good work Superior! You have earned us as a customer for life.
Best regards,
Sheryl and David

They really did a good job. Cleaned both the cold air and hot air duct work. Cleaned all the vents and the furnace. Asked questions and he explained everything to me. I highly recommend them.

I phoned John at Superior on Thursday.  He provided me with the information to calculate the approximate cost of cleaning all of the ducts and returns in my home.  I knew exactly what I would be spending for 35 total ducts/returns.  I agreed to the price and we scheduled the work to be completed the NEXT day!  Rich showed up at my house on time and was extremely pleasant.  He was professional and explained the process to me in detail.  He set up a camera for me to view the duct work and I could see that the ducts of my 9 year old home were covered in thick white drywall dust.  (No wonder I could use a Swiffer each and every hour of the day!)  His equipment was clean and the hoses were made of a soft material which didn't scratch the trim of my home.  When it began to rain softly, he hung a clean tarp on the opening of the sliding glass door where the large vacuum hose entered my house.  This prevented any rain or debris to enter while he was working.  I appreciated that very much.  The biggest surprise I had was when I was doing laundry on the first floor and Rich was using the pressurized blower to clean the vents in the bathroom directly above me.  I could literally hear chunks of debris being pushed through the trunk line of the system.  It was unbelievable.  I ran upstairs to verify that that was what I was actually hearing and Rich confirmed that there was definitely a lot of construction material being pushed through to the vacuum.  When all was said and done, my 9 year old home produced 2-five gallon buckets of material (drywall, drywall mud, wiring, pieces of wood, sawdust, etc) and 18 pounds of drywall dust.  I cannot stop talking about it to my friends and family.  It was amazing.  I am sooooo sorry I didn't have this done earlier.  I could have saved so much time dusting.  Since it was raining, I didn't have an opportunity to look for the dust particles that typically fly through the air in my great room when the sun shines through the windows after 4:30 pm daily.  Today, however, it was beautiful outside and I sat and waited.  After just one day, it was obvious to even my 10 and 11 year olds that the duct cleaning helped tremendously.  I actually feel better about the air that we are all breathing.  Rich really did a wonderful job cleaning my air ducts and I actually enjoyed his company while he was in my home.  I must also say that when all of the ducts were clean and while Rich was finishing cleaning my furnace, he came across a problem that he could not fix.  For some reason, the blower on my furnace would not kick on, when he attempted to start it up again.  He tried his best, however, he did not know what to do.  He made a few phone calls to see if anyone within the company could trouble shoot with him.  Unfortunately, nobody knew how to fix the problem. Rich assured me that it would be taken care of and I believed him.  I paid him for the work he had done and was told that a furnace repair company (Coleman and Mitchell) would show up within the hour. Within 30 minutes, the furnace company was at my house and the problem was solved.  I needed a new electrical panel for my furnace and it was replaced within the hour and the bill was handled by John from Superior Air Duct Cleaning.  Talk about customer service!  I appreciate a company that stands behind their good name and does the right thing when faced with an issue.  There is no doubt that I would recommend Superior Air Duct Cleaning to my family and friends.  I already have.  Thank you for a job well done.

They guys came over and they were very professional. They counted the number of registers in my home and discussed the pricing and optional services they provide. They were very professional and did a great job. They hooked up a video to my vents and showed me how much dust was in our furnace. The guys even closed up an old register in my garage. It took about 3 hours total to perform the cleaning and sanitizing.
Very professional and great service.

The technician showed up on time and was extremely professional.  The entire cleaning took about 3.5 hours, which is right where they quoted us on the phone (3-4 hours).  We couldn't be happier with this company's service and technician.  Recommend and will use again.

Technician was professional and did a good job. When he was inspecting the condition of my ducts with his video camera and visually thruogh the hole he made to insert his equipment, he discovered some items left inside by the original contractors who built the house. He was able to remove those items. He came on time and job took about 3 hours as he had indicated before the job was started. Would recommend to anyone looking to have their ducts cleaned.

Very prompt and professional. All supplies and returns cleaned (12-13 total) within the timeframe specified (~3 hrs).. The serviceman was helpful in pointing out which returns were not in service as well. All in all a very good experience.

They arrived promptly and worked for 6 hours straight without even a lunch break.  Only disappointment was I asked if there would be any mess and they said not but there was a fine coating of dirt on everything in the basement when they were done.  I would have covered things had I known

Outstanding service.  Rick was prompt, knowledgeable and skilled.  He answered all of my questions and concerns.  My wife was quite concerned about the vacuum system generating dust (e.g. in other rooms) but this is handled by sealing each vent first, then opening them one-by-one to clean.  The service was fairly fast and the results look great.  I took one point off for price because there are companies offering this service for less money; that said, we are very happy.

The technician was punctual, polite, seemed to be thorough, etc. None of this matters since the expected result was not achieved.
I wanted this service because of a problem with dust in my condominium. The building that I live in was buillt in the 70's and several years ago, a previous owner did a lot of remodeling. He made changes in the ceiling, walls, etc. I bought this condo a year ago and the dust is abnormally bad. However, the dust only occurs when I run the furnace or air conditioning. I did not run my system immediately after Superior Duct Cleaning did the work because the weather wasn't hot and I didn't need the air conditioning. When I did notice that I still get excessive dust, I called Superior Duct Cleaning and spoke with John, the owner. He said that the dust can't be coming from the ducts, it must be coming from a ceiling fan, or some other source.  I explained that even the bathroom fixtures get coated with dust and the bathroom does not have a ceiling fan.  I told him that I think that my ducts are an extreme case extreme and I doubt that they have ever been cleaned and probably need more work. He said that's impossible but he had no other explanation.
I have tried several times to call back and talk to John.  I left messages but he does not return my call.
My condo is not located on a highway where traffic would create dust and there is no construction going on in our area that would cause dust.

The technician who performed the work for Superior Air Duct Cleaning was very likeable and a hard worker. We were however disappointed with several aspects of the service. I called because I was tired of having so much dust throughout our house when the furnace comes on.  Our house has never had ductwork cleaning before. Prior to starting the job, the Superior Air Duct technician showed me a cell phone camera photo that he took inside the ductwork that showed some build-up of dust. But even he admitted, it wasn't too bad. And we don't have pets either.
In the company website and photos for their ads they depict a clean bright truck that comes to your house to clean your ductwork. The Superior truck that arrived at our house was pretty dirty inside and out. He had done a job that morning prior to arriving at our house. So the equipment was dirty to start with. Even the blue vacuum bags that pop out of the top of the truck when the service is operating, were a dark dusty gray, appearing to me to be filled with dirt inside and out. When the vacuum began operating I noted a lot of dust in the air outside.
I noted that the hoses that were dragged into our house were fairly dirty. The technician took his shoes off when inside the house and walked around in his socks, instead of wearing the clean booties over the shoes, like some repairmen do. The technician's uniform was dirty too, and he left various hand-prints on our walls that he leaned on and touched when stopping to speak with us.
Our basement is not finished, mainly used for storage, so i'm not stressing over any dust there. I did however have to clean up sharp metal bits from the floor left behind by the technician when he drilled the holes into the ductwork. (We found that the sharp tiny metal pieces were getting stuck in our shoes and carried upstairs where they were scratching the floors.)
The most disappointing aspect of the cleaning wasn't noticed by us until after the technician completed the job and left. His last step apparently was to turn the furnace back on and to spray a sanitizing solution into the ductwork. We are guessing that there was still a fair amount of dust particles in the air throughout the ductwork when he did this, because a good bit of dust blew out of the furnace and into our home. The worst rooms were the bedrooms and we cleaned until 2AM so that we could go to bed without breathing in the dust. We found the heaviest dust nearest each register, and even gritty particles too. Not sure where the grit came from. Spent the next several days wiping up surfaces throughout the rest of the house, vacuuming carpets and furniture.

The initial reason I chose Superior Air Duct Cleaning was their reputation from others who have used them, the fact they were members of the National Association of Air Duct Cleaners and were certified through them.  I was familiar with the association and had attended one of their conventions years ago and  was aware of their continuing education program.  When I contacted John Dean, he was professional, informative and competitive.  The added plus to our experience was the continued confidence of Richie, who actually performed the service for us.  He was outstanding...very professional and considerate.  We have already referred the Company and Richie to relatives.  It was a pleasurable experience for us.

He was great. It took him about an hour to do. I thought their prices were very reasonable; it was $300 for 10 registers and an additional price for each register. They also offered a $75 coupon through Angie's List. They cleaned up after themselves; it was like he wasn't even here. He was timely, professional, very pleasant and very thorough. I would recommend him.

Update to Superior Air Duct Cleaning.
Now that my furnace is coming on, I can't believe how long my house keeps clean.  In prior years, everytime the furnace came on I had dust and woke up with sinus problems.  Now as the weather is turning in Western PA I find less sinus problems and the air in the house just feels cleaner which is proven by far less dust on the furniture and vacuum.  This service is worth every penney.

I highly recommend Superior Air Duct Cleaning.  The price was in line with other companies but all you have to do is see  thier truck and the equipment they bring into your house to know that their business is air duct cleaning.  They not only bring in high power equipment and use the generator on their truck for power  but show before and after pictures to prove they have performed the work.  I was impressed on my first phone call when I was given the price and scheduled a time when someone would be home on the first phone call.  I have a large house and it took almost 4 hours to complete the work and Rick were very careful about not tracking any dirt into the house.
Professional, high quality, courteous service is what I received.  I am so glad I found this company on Angieslist.  I only wish they performed other services because they definitely would get my business.  I wish ALL businesses would perform even 80% as well as Superior Air Duct.  Thanks so much for a pleasant experience!
