We 'do not' stain or paint cabinets. Our services are cabinet refacing, new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and floors. We are a family-owned business located in Nazareth, PA, but our cabinet refinishing and kitchen remodeling services are available across the entire Lehigh Valley area, including Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and the surrounding communities. We finally got rid of her but lo then phone calls begun coming from others about doing the job, several calls and each time we told them we were not interested in doing anything yet and ech time we told them we didn't want calls nd we would make the contact itch them if we wanted to do anything. They were still calling. I don't newer the phone and finally the last I picked up their cll I lied to them and told them we are having the kitchen done by someone else.
Our conclusion is that if they are that desperate for business they must not be that good.

First of all, we would like to thank this customer for contacting us and for her interest in Kitchen Magic, and regret any frustration. A consultation with one of our kitchen experts is a free service, however, quite costly to our company. Consultants often drive long distances to reach an appointment. would be too much to have it all redone from scratch so while at a local
home show I saw the display for Kitchen magic and thought why not, a
few years ago we had them out and they were half the price of a new
kitchen, maybe we could do that now. We did not do it a few years ago
because we could not get the money together, when you have a large
family other priors come up, so the kitchen got put on hold. When the
sales person arrived it was the same man from last time and he was not
too pleasant about coming back out because we did not buy the first
time. He made a point of letting us know that it, he showed us the
products, was a high pressured sales person starting high at $20k and
bringing it down to about $16K and if we sign now he would bring it down
even further to $14K. We had 2 more companies coming out and were
trying to refinance to pay for the project. In the end he said we were
nice people but would not come back again. Hmmm, since he did not leave
us paperwork a few years ago I did not remember what his FREE estimate
was then nor what it included and when he left he this time he wrote a
price on a card but not what it included so we could not compare. I did
not like him and would not go with this company but my husband would go
with them because they were cheaper than Kitchen Savers, which quoted
us $19K, but they gave us a full written estimate with all that was
included. In the end I could not justify spending this much money
covering cheap laminate cabinets with either company, looked on Angies
list for contractors and found we could get good quality brand new
cabinets and counter top(quartz) with the electric & plumbing
upgraded for $22-25K and since we got approved to refinance that is what
we did. Before refacing check to see what having all new would cost. ALso I would like to know who all the winners are for the contest Kitchen Magic seems to keep having to give away new kitchens, since that is how they get your name, that is how they got our name the first time. Shouldn't they list them?

This is not typically the case. We completely understand that other priorities take precedence over remodeling. While the Sales Rep was aware that he had visited the home earlier however, the prior quote amount and other records are kept at our home office in a strictly private database and not with the Sales Representative. That information is available to you—you can call our office and request your project’s amount at (800) 237-0799 at any time. While an in-home estimate and consultation is always free to homeowners, it is at a cost to Kitchen Magic. Many times a Representative will drive 1 ½ - 2 hours to an appointment. There may be a discount incentive given if a customer purchases during our first visit. We apologize for any miscommunication. While there is a value in refacing, the materials are of the highest quality. There is typically over a 50% savings compared to our new custom cabinetry. When comparing two different companies, there is much more to the equation than price. Please consider that Kitchen Magic includes only quality products (not stock or imports), installation, delivery, warranty, service, countertop, fabrication and project management. At 12:10 p.m., a representative called to advise that the salesperson was running late and would be here ~1:00-1:30 p.m. At 1:20 p.m., another representative called to advise that the salesperson was just leaving his prior appointment (~8 miles away) and would be here, with holiday shopping traffic, at 2:00 p.m. He never showed up and no one called me. At ~2:45 p.m., I tried to call the company at the "appointment" phone number/VoiceMail extension and reached a recording that the corporate office closed at noon on Saturday and would be open on Monday. I researched further via the company's website and found a "customer service" number, then disregarded VoiceMail extensions and just held on. I finally reached someone who, when he looked up my info and then called the salesperson, determined that the salesperson had erroneously entered the NEXT appointment's info into his GPS and was now 40 minutes away from me, in another direction entirely. . .and would not be coming to my house at all - about which no one called to advise.
Ultimately, I chose to reschedule for a different day entirely, but am already unhappy with this company and, unless the eventual estimate and my feeling about potential work is overwhelmingly positive, it is very unlikely that I will contract for any work. My entire day today was ruined. I had planned my entire holiday weekend around this appointment, including scheduling another appointment at my house for earlier this afternoon, which I pushed back after the first postponed, then, after the second postponement, moved entirely to tomorrow -- which, as it turns out, I could have left for the postponed time because Kitchen Magic's salesperson will not be here at all.
Therefore, not only is my entire day today (Saturday) wasted, but it now impacts my Sunday as well. In addition, because my employer had asked me to work today and I said that I was unavailable due to expectation that Kitchen Magic would be here (I specifically needed it to be today because the company had a special discount offer for estimates on Black Friday/Saturday only), I have lost a day's overtime pay. . .for nothing.

We are not sure how this happened, but it is possible that the call came in over our holiday shutdown and was not properly routed. Once aware of the issues, however, we did contact the member immediately to address her concerns. Our inspector visited to examine the job, and service was quickly scheduled and completed. The root of the problem is that we did not get back to the customer regarding her concerns in a timely manner, which is not at all our practice. Somehow her communication was misplaced or not received. Had we been aware of any issues, we would certainly have addressed them in a timely manner.
