My husband and I had met Linda Bickell, a Duffy Real Estate agent, after going through a few open houses in the Narberth area. We are first time home buyers and not originally from the area, so it was important to us to find an agent that was knowledgeable about the real estate in the area we were looking. Linda was very helpul in educating us on the market in the Narberth/ Wynnewood area and was also very patient with us as we looked at several homes in the area over a 5 month period. Not once did we ever feel pressure to put in an offer, even though quite a few nice homes within our budget popped up during the time period that had most of the items on our "must-have" list. Once we did find a home that we loved and were ready to make an offer on, Linda was great in making sure the process ran seamlessly. During the negotiation process, she was very good at telling us when we should try to push back to the sellers to ensure we ended up getting the home for a fair price as well as a price we were comfortable paying. She also put us in touch with a great lender who, after shopping around a bit, was able to give us the best rates and personal attention (giving us his personal cell phone to take calls at all hours with any questions we had). We are all set to close in a few weeks, and so far, we have not run into any issues throughout the entire process. We are hoping the close goes as smoothly as the rest of the process has. We would definitely recommend Linda Bickell and Duffy Real Estate and will hopefully have the opportunity to work with them again one day!
