"Hi Ms. [Member Name Removed], I am so sorry you had some damage on your move. I checked with our claims department and understand we have an appointment to inspect and repair the two claimed items on the thirtieth. While we always try to prevent damage, it is a part of this business. And we always honor our obligations to settle claims up to the limits of liability our customers choose. It's important for our clients to understand how movers liability works and that they make the choice on coverage that fits their budget and risk tolerance. It's also important to choose a mover with the financial strength and insurance coverage to honor their commitments. You chose full coverage. I regret some damage happened on your move, but we will take care of it! Thank you very much for the great feedback on our value and customer service! We move hundreds of families every year, both locally and nationally, and take great pride in service. We always look to be nice, careful and hardworking. If problems arise we work hard to fix them. Thank you for your business and best wishes in your new home. Mark."

They did a really good job and they moved along. They went above and beyond because they could not get our queen sized mattress up the stairs so they actually put them over the porch, so they did a good job in that aspect. But when they got to the box spring they just slid the box spring across the hardwood floor in the bedroom and scratched it. The price was pretty good for a local move.
Paul Treier and Linda Weeks handled our move on the admin/logistical side and was always easily accessible for questions either by phone or through email with quick replies and returning calls. There were no hidden fees and everything was explained in detail to me by Paul. When the truck broke down, Linda and the driver of the truck was in contact with me letting me know what was going on and the new arrival time.
Everything showed up and nothing damaged. The driver of the truck and his crew were very careful in both homes and there was no damage to anything.
I would certainly recommend Paul Treier with Armstrong Relocation Services and ask for Linda Weeks!
Service was fantastic up until the day of delivery. Packers came day before the move and packed up the house. The truck arrived for pick up right on time. The driver was concerned about the distance between the truck and the house. There were 2 TV's that were not packed. He made a call and another man arrived with the needed packaging materials and assisted the rest of the movers.. Truck was loaded on time. We were notified on a Friday that delivery would be Monday am 830-930. By 11 we had not heard from anyone so we called the office. We were told the truck was delayed and would arrive by noon. At 2pm, still no truck called the office and they needed to call the driver and track him down. We received a call back that the truck was 10 minutes out. 45 minutes later the truck arrived at almost 3pm. 3 additional men also arrived to offload. 2 of these guys were wafting outside the gated community since 730am. When I asked the driver what happened, why so late. He told me he got a late start on Sat in PA as his truck wasn't ready. He knew that he wasn't going to arrive by Monday am. Nobody notified us of the delay.
The offloading crew were p*****, as they had been waiting all day for the truck. They started throwing items off the truck onto the street. The driver took no control to orchestrate the movement of the items into the house.
I told the driver they're not bring any items in until he puts down floor / wall protectors. He had no floor protectors on the truck, so he used cardboard. They started bring the household goods in. 1 guy complained he was hungry and wanted us to order pizza for him. It came time to bring the furniture upstairs and they realized that nobody had a hump strap. I happen to have 1 in the house that they could use.
As they brought the furniture upstairs almost every piece of furniture was damaged. These guys were worried about going home because they sat in their cars all day. Only 1 mover had experience in moving furniture, so the other guys had him move all the heavy items.
When I showed the Driver all the damage he referred me to file claim. He was too worried about getting back on the road so he could get back to Pa.
A few days after delivery we received a message that the company was going to send a gift card for our inconvenience on the day of the move. Needless to say, that never arrived either.
