Doug is extremely reliable and very professional.

He is very thorough, he does a very good job, he was very pleasant, and he was very respectful. It was just an overall very good experience with him.

We are very happy with the work that was done. Most of the work was done by Doug and Carl in one day. They installed the one piece vinyl floor in our upstairs bath. The job required removing the toilet, baseboards, and doors, installing the lauan subfloor, then the one piece vinyl, then replacing everything that had been removed. They also replaced a medicine cabinet and bathroom light fixture, as well as faucets in two bathrooms. Everything went smoothly and looks great. Doug came back on another evening for a few hours and did some caulking and added some trim to both bathrooms. It was a pleasure dealing with Doug. We got more than our money's worth. Doug charged for his time and any material he bought, including the lauan for the subfloor. We bought the vinyl flooring, the faucets, the medicine cabinet, and the light fixture. The items we bought are not reflected in the price shown above. When we initially contacted Doug to give us an estimate, it took a few days for him to respond. However, once he called us back he set up a specific date and time. He also showed up promptly on both days he worked at our house.

Doug is very easy to work with and did an excellent job. There was some confusion involving the installation and finishing of the countertop and the sink that resulted in added costs to his original estimate. To be fair, this was partly due to the countertop being a very new material (Paperstone) that he had no experience with before.

It was a pleasure! Doug's estimate was thorough and accurate. He completed the jobs in a timely manner - whenever there was some unforeseen snag in the process, he was a quick and practical problemsolver. Doug's workmanship is topnotch, and you couldn't ask for anyone easier to get along with - he is always approachable and honest. I'm looking forward to having Doug do further renovations in my home.

Doug and his partner, Carl, did an outstanding job with our new kitchen. Not only was their work top notch but they always performed above and beyond, especially with all the changes and requests for new work during the project. Nothing ever phased them and they were a pleasure to work with. Doug is a perfectionist when it comes to his carpentry work and Carl does tremendous plumbing and electrical work. It is rare that a job of this size goes smoothly all the way through. My wife suggested using Angie's List to find someone we could trust and this really worked out well for us. I would highly recommend them for any kind of work and we are bringing them back for our master bath next year. Last, but certainly not least, is that they are very reasonable on pricing and detail all costs. They also jump on estimates for additional work and do what they say they are going to do. Can't say enough good things about them.

It was tremendous. Of all the contractors I spoke to Doug was clearly the one who knew what he was doing. He was able to very clearly lay out the options for releveling the room, the costs and benefits of each option, and the work involved. After I decided, he very professionally went about doing exactly what he said he would - neatly, cleanly, on-time, on-budget. This guy is extremely good and I would use him again in a minute. He is very professional and refreshingly honest. I liked his work so much I kept him around to finish a ceiling and reframe some windows in the bathroom as well. I also called him back to install the cabinets and counters in the kitchen when those came in. Also an excellent job. His prices are reasonable and good value for the quality of the work - you will not feel ripped off.
