Of the estimates we received, Cambridge was the best by almost $10,000. They had to push the project back about a week due to poor weather but once they arrived the project only took 5 days. We are very happy with the patio and look forward to using it for many years to come

Scott Brown was very accommodating due to factors on both of our ends, it took a lot of communication to get the work scheduled. I was very satisfied with everything that they did. The workers were very good. And they wanted to make sure I was pleased with the work they did.

Beds created, topsoil added and plantings done to provide screening and color around our patio area.  This came out beautifully and we will be happy to see these plantings mature and provide some of the privacy and serenity we were looking for. The remainder of our property contained several foundation beds, a large circular bed around a large tree and a very large terraced area at the rear of the property.  All of these areas were neglected, weed infested and were not cleaned out or mulched last season.  The Cambridge crew cleaned out weeds, and debris, cut in these beds and added a good layer of mulch.  The job was well done. 















Of course, there was a "while you are here" thing that came up.  Two of my 12-15 foot arborvitae had been pushed over on to a neighbors fence by a previous wind and rain storm and the crew righted these trees for me.  This little job for them would have taken me all day to dig these out and straighten them.















Regarding responsiveness, Scott did mention the work wouldn't be done until the end of April and considering the weather we had in April, he was only off by a couple of weeks.  So even though I rated responsiveness as a "B", it did meet the expectations as promised withing an understandable plus/minus a couple of weeks.  Close enough considering landscapers are at the mercy of weather conditions.















The crew of 8 were professional, quick and thorough.  They cleaned up everything when they were done and left the property in great condition.  I would recommend Cambridge Landscapes without reservation.

They haven't done the work yet because of the weather. I am waiting for them to come to do the work. They quoted $10500 for the work. Scott was very professional. He came in prepared with his insurance, Pennsylvania registration and a list of former clients where he has done work. He came in with all the paperwork, which was very nice. He was very pleasant and easy to work with. The responsiveness was very good. If project and everything goes well, I would certainly think of having them do more work.































































Cambridge completed the project at the end of May and did a wonderful job. The first day the workers came to prep the area a storm started near the end of the day. The workers stayed very late until the storm was over to ensure everything was ok. The work was completed quickly with a minimal inconvenience. One unexpected item came up during the project but Scott handled it immediately. The walkway from the driveway and alongside the house flows very nicely to the patio in the back. The plants and garden are so beautiful to see while sitting on the patio. Scott also designed a curbstone around the gas meter and put in a plant to hide the meter. I would not hesitate to recommend Cambridge Landscapes. Scott is very professional and knowledgeable.

The crew was very PROFESSIONAL and very CLEAN. I told Scott what I wanted and he said okay took 10 minutes and said here is what he thinks would look good and let me say I could see it right in front of me as he was telling me. I really didn't know what HARDSCAPE was but I know now. I wish you could see the before & after because it is JUST AMAZING no other words could tell it any better. People were stopping and my neighbors said it all looked FANTASTIC. I was ECSTATIC with the whole job and the PRICE if you could have seen my house before you would agree it was well worth the money. In fact I am having them back again. The job is finished and I could not be HAPPIER with the whole thing " I NOW HAVE THE BEST HOUSE ON THE BLOCK "

I purchased a Big Deal in the fall of 2013. Scott came out and reviewed what I wanted and suggested what he could complete in the hours I purchased in the Big Deal. I was happily surprised with the amount of work he could do for the price. He also worked up a few very reasonable prices for other projects I need to do later. The bad news was that it snowed early in the fall and never stopped until spring 2014. When Spring finally came and the snow melted, we could finally schedule the cleanup, 6 months later. Scott still honored the Deal without any additional charges. The day of the cleanup, the crew arrived a little early. I reviewed that I wanted a large area of overgrown ivy removed and a border and overgrown planting area around a tree removed. They completed everything I asked, which was even more than I expected for the time allotted. They leveled all the areas so all I had to do is seed, cover with straw and water. They took the debris with them and left the areas neat and tidy. Scott called me later to make sure I was happy, but I have not had a chance to let him know how satisfied I am. I would use them again, once I can decide which project I need next.

They were accurate, on-time, and gave a detailed estimate.  Work was done and very through.  Workers were courteous and and worked diligently.

Emailed to start the service on November 21st of 2013, showed up only for estimate and want to do the service after the rainy day, which I did not prefer. Gave a date for Saturday or Monday, can not do the service because of no staffing , too cold of weather and no response since then.

Top notch all the way.  For our initial appointment and survey of job site, Scott Brown brought a folder with referrals, insurance documentation, and photographs of completed work.  He was very proactive in suggesting design ideas - something we really needed.  Scott and his crew were very receptive to questions and special requests that we had during the project.   They showed up when they said they would and finished in just a few days.  We couldn't be happier!

We had a lot of construction work done over the past two year and our lawn on the side and back of the house was a mess from all the trucks that came in and out. There was some construction debris including rocks and concrete that needed to be removed as well. Scott, who I believe is the owner, was here about a week earlier to spray weed killer. When the crew arrived on the 11th, he was here directing the operation. They removed the construction debris, graded the lawn, put down topsoil, and seeded the
lawn. They finished the job the next morning and covered the new seed with straw. We were directed to water daily. In a week we had a new lawn, except for a few places that somehow got missed. I called the company. They were here the next morning with more topsoil and seed to cover the spots that were missed. It's all good now.

Top notch best describes this company. From the estimate presentation of a folder of all of the licenses and past customers to call for references to the end result, Scott and his company were  professional and totally customer oriented.  The property in question had had a huge tree removed and the lawn was spotty at  best. In addition, a 10 x 10 shed had been built mid- property. Scott  came and spent a good 40 minutes taking measurements and assessing the job and gave us the written proposal that night. We used an Angie's list coupon and it brought the cost within $500 of a competitive bid. Best $500 spent!  From showing when they said they would, to cleaning up afterwards it was top notch all the way through the process. We are already thinking about another job to call Scott in for!

Owner Scott and his workers arrived on time and proceeded to dig into the window well and patio area. They were  friendly and courteous.  There was a fair amount of manual digging along with using the appropriate equipment.  They had to remove the patio bricks and also remove the grass from the area where the drainage pipe would go.  They did this with minimal mess. They replaced the bricks exactly as they were before.  In fact, the brick area looks better than it did before the job started?  They also replaced the grass area which had been removed.  They even reseeded the grass area which we did not expect.  They completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and thoroughly cleaned up the entire area.  We are very impressed with the completion of this job and are glad we chose Cambridge Landscapes.

Responsive and professional - contacted / got updates via email as requested . The work  was completed as described; the crew actually started a day ahead of the promsied start /compeltion date.

From day one we experienced timely and professional service. Scott came to the house and provided suggestions and ideas. Scott also provided a list of references along with photos. All phone calls were promptly returned. Once contract was in place we were give an ETA. The location of the yard was not in the best location; however Scott and his team we able to get the job done. All workers were courteous and professional as well.

He provided advice during the layout of the project and promptly returned calls when we needed to contact him.  Wet weather caused some delays, but once started the project was completed in 5 days.  The patio looks great and is a tremendous improvement.  Soft areas of the lawn that were affected by the equipment were restored with topsoil which was graded, seeded and mulched with straw.































Overall the project exceeded our expectations and we would recommend Cambridge Landscapes.

The quote was very high. I called them back and I talked to them about the quote and they never responded to any of my calls beyond that point. The guys who gave the quote were okay. They were nothing spectacular. There was nothing outstanding about him.

The work took about a week longer to get scheduled due to adverse weather conditions but once started workers arrived on time each morning and continued each day until the job was done even with extreme hot weather the job was finished in a timely and professional manner.  At the end of each day the work area was cleaned up before they left.  Scott came on the first day to go over everything with the workers and with me and was in constant contact by cell phone to address any issues that came up. After the job was done I called with some questions, Scott got back to me promptly and my questions were addressed.   We're very happy with the way the everything turned out and everyone who has seen the project thinks it looks great.

Due to rainy season there was some delay in the start but we are very happy with the results. Once the project started was done  in few days and looks fabulaous. Would definitely recommend Cambridge.

Scott came out to my house in March to examine the property as well as to view the condition of my existing landscaping.  From that initial visit he created a new design that he detailed in a drawing showing the new plants and bushes and upgrades that he recommended.  He suggested to remove the overgrown bushes and then to redistribute some of the existing plants to other areas.  With the tree removal the proper amount of sun would then also reach the beds which would also helpwith adding new flowering plants.   His crew came out in earl May and within 4 days had complete the overhaul of my yard.  They removed the trees, added over 25 new plants to my beds a and re-seeded the affected lawn areas.  
The transformation was amazing and now I have a low maintenance property that looks fantastic and  will so for years.  Scott always promptly returned my calls and did a great job throughout.  I can definitely endorse their professionalism and their work.
