The pricing was fairly expensive.  I would not use them in the future.

This is, by far, one of the best contractors I have ever worked with for home improvements. Scott Brown was a true professional, and the first thing he did when he met with me for the first time was to provide references, discussed insurance coverages, and his various certifications which all put me very much at ease. When he returned with his proposal, he made numerous suggestions for things I had not thought of (nor did the other two contractors I interviewed), and they all made sense. His crew was amazing - and probably the hardest workers I have ever seen.............Breaking up old concrete and blacktop is a difficult job but this crew knocked this all out in a short time. Cambridge's specialty seems to be hardscape pavers and walkways, but they also excel at concrete work too. I am still getting complements on how great my house looks - usually from people i have never met who just happen to walk by.  My neighbors also loved their work and had Cambridge do some work at their houses as well.

Contractor  was selected from several possibilities, including those from Angie's List.  We were given some selections of upgraded paver products to choose from, and found what we wanted.  Work crew was there every day and project moved forward as scheduled. Some  issues re cleanup daily, but those were corrected.  Contractor worked with us on  changes we made during the course,  and was very mindful of storm water concerns, with a good result.  Appearance of the patio at the end was what we had sought with the original concept and plan.   Would recommend Cambridge to others; would use again ourselves.  Enough said.

Scott was prompt and professional.  He kept all scheduled appointments and performed all work as agreed.  The job cost a bit more than I originally anticipated, but the final cost was as agreed.  We did have a lot of work done and the quality is excellent. I hope to enjoy it for many years to come.

Scott and his crew were flat out amazing from start to finish.  When we got the estimate, Scott showed up with all his papers of insurance and certificates for us to keep and pictures of previous jobs that they have done.  The crew arrived  the day that they said they would, and when they started, they didn't stop!  They removed our old cracked concrete patio that water would just run to the back door of our house and would have us standing there in fear every time it rained hard and installed a breath taking paver patio with two retaining walls will drainage behind it to divert the water over to the side of the house.  The whole time throughout the project Scott would keep us updated with what was going on and when to expect certain things to be done. The crew was very professional and cleaned up at the end of everyday so there was nothing laying around that you could trip over.  Once they we're all done, the clean up was just as amazing as the job on the patio was.  The amount of dirt that was in our yard, you would never know was there, as they got all of it out and seeded and put straw down.   Our  neighbors are just blown away by the transformation of our backyard and how hard the crew worked.  From what our backyard looked like before to what it is now, words just don't do it justice, as they have given us a place to entertain for years to come!!  Needless to say, we are customers for life and wouldn't even bother looking for anyone else to do work in the future!

Scott and his crew were very easy to work with, Scott was very helpful in the decision and planning phase.  Can't say enough good things about about our experience.  Out of the three quotes that we received his was the most reasonable.  Scott could be counted on to return all phone calls and give us his personal attention when needed.
They did a great job and we are very happy with the work.  We have received many compliments and would definitely hire them again.

First let me start by saying the receptionist is rude and unprofessional. I called to inquire about getting an estimate for work at my home. On their website it says they offer free estimates however she told me it was a $75 fee for an estimate. I asked why does it say something different on your website and her reply very nastily was "I don't know". I asked her to let me speak to someone who did know. She asked me to hold on and then hung up on me. I immediately called back and the phone was picked up and hung up. I called back again and was sent to voicemail. After waiting five minutes I called back again and she answered. I asked this lady why would you hang up on me. Her reply was it was a mistake. I seriously doubt this was the case being as though when I called right back she hung up again. She finally put me through to someone and when I inquired about the free estimate he advised it was free "but" followed by some ridiculous explanation. First let me say I would never do business with a company that practices false advertisement. Secondly, good customer service is a MUST if you want to acquire someone's business and this company clearly is lacking in that area. Finally, weeks later I get a call from them the same girl that so rudely hung up on me to say "we don't service your area" but clearly advertised the serve Montgomery County. Not sure why and how I got a call, however AGAIN another example of FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Clearly this company knows nothing about integrity, honesty, and customer service. I would never hire any business like this to perform services for me. Clearly unprofessional.

There was a bit of delay for starting the work, which is why I gave a slightly lower rating for punctuality, but sometimes that can't be helped with outdoor related work. This just felt a bit longer than normal weather delays.
 Once the work was done we were very happy.  The work was completely exactly as planned.   There did seem to be some softer areas and uneven grass growth, but this might not have been avoidable.
The work met what our expectations were.

Cambridge Landscapes took the time necessary to discuss and design a backyard space which met homeowner needs.  Its work, using homeowner choice of quality pavers, was performed in a timely manner and resulted in a beautifully shaped paver patio.  According to homeowner wishes, the Cambridge design included a planting bed and attention to water runoff.  The pavers were installed to route water away from the home foundation, through a swale of River Jack (stone).  Cambridge's work has greatly increased homeowner use and enjoyment of this area, and continues to result in unsolicited compliments from passers by. 

They began the job within 3 days of acceptance of the quotation, and finished within 1.5 days.  They removed the bricks, re-dug the bed for the path, filled it with a superior grade of partially pulverized rock, relaid the bricks, replacing the broken ones, emplaced new lumber framing,  placed rocks to hold an adjacent embankment, sealed everything to prevent weed growth,  The new path is superior to the old one and looks great.

Scott and his crew did an excellent job. They were very professional and responsive.  Would definitely hire them again and recommend them to a friend. 

Scott, the manager/owner, was very responsive via both email and phone.  Compared to another very experienced (and highly rated) landscaper in the area who couldn't even do the job, I was very impressed with his experience and confidence that moving our shed would be 'no problm.'
The quote was for a set price and I paid 1/3 up front as a deposit.  I felt it could have been a little bit cheaper but I don't mind paying a little extra to get great quality, which we did.
Weather prevented him from coming over as soon as originally estimated so we rescheduled a few times.  The work was still completed in a reasonable amount of time.
The work went very smoothly, Scott was on site supervising and participating in the work the whole time.  They also demolished our old shed, which was included in our price, and didn't leave any debris behind for us to dispose of, which I really appreciated.  This probably increased our price a little, but it was worth it.

Scott showed up gave me a highly professional, itemized quote, something I was unable to get from other landscapers. Once we had a signed contract everything went as expected. The job turned out beautifully! My house went from something hidden behind brush to a real curb appeal beauty. What a way to start out in our new home. Can't wait to get them back here to focus on the back yard. I would highly recommend him to friend, family and anyone else looking for a qualified landscaping company.

Scott Brown from Cambridge Landscaping came out for an estimate which was the most competitive.  Scott is very experienced and knowledgable about the job and thoroughly explained everything that would be done.  He was very responsive and his crew were very friendly, punctual, and hard working.  The job was a lot of work and was completed in one full day.  The crew cleaned up after themselves very well and the final result was as described.  We were very happy with Cambridge Landscaping and would definitely hire them again.

It went very smoothly. There were no surprises. Scott and his team arrived as scheduled and did the work extremely professionally. They measured and checked their work consistently to make sure that surfaces were level and the lawn was graded properly. They answered all questions patiently and stuck with us even when we changed our plans. They cleaned up during the work and left our lawn seeded and covered with hay. A couple of days later, they returned to assist with an unrelated problem, and did not charge for the visit.

Scott and his crew were awesome. I am late in writing my review, but wanted to make sure I posted something. I am not the easiest customer to deal with. I changed my mind on size and surrounding landscape a lot and he was responsive to each text/email. From the first meeting all the way through the last day Scott was the best. He came prepared and gave me a great overview of his company. Showed us past work and gave us recommendations based on our space and wants. I would definitely be going back to them in the future. The did some work that others did not want to do. On top of that some places didnt even bother showing up for the first meeting because mine was a small project. I would recommend them to everyone!

Great - we were on a tight deadline, and Cambridge confirmed they could make the deadline and stuck to it, and even helped us sod to cover up the surrounding dirt that would have normally needed seeding a few weeks to grow back in.

Scott was responsive on the quote. The team worked very hard to install everything on time. Scott came by and made sure the team stayed late to finish everything on the final day.

Great!!  The workers were all professional and courteous.   They did a wonderful job and finished up with grading around the patio and planting grass seed.  WE LOVE IT!!!   We received numerous compliments on the beauty and quality of the work.







Will definitely use them on our next paver job!!

Scott Brown and his landscape architect visited the house and drew up plans that captured our idea of what we wanted in our backyard.  His crew arrived within the scheduled window of start dates that we discussed.  The crew excavated out soil by hand to avoid several buried utility lines that are in the backyard.  They marked the locations and performed all work in safe and professional manner.  The removed soil necessary to replace with new stone and pavers for a portion of the backyard adjacent to the new screened deck and excavated a 24 inch deep barrier trench for protection from a bamboo run that is located on our neighbor's property, but comes toward our house as well. They provided great new plantings and a new fence around the existing heat pump units in the back as well as place new red stone over the majority of the area to provide erosion protection and prevent weed growth since there is no sunshine in the backyard to grow any grass. 















The final product looks fantastic and his crew worked tirelessly to make it a success.  We are extremely happy with both Cambridge Landscapes and Archadeck for all their hard work.

Scott and his crew were wonderful. They were very professional and courteous and completed the job in a very timely fashion. We sought several other estimates and Scott was far and away the most reasonable, providing more service for less. The completed work looks beautiful. We would definitely use Cambridge again in the future.
