At Window Nation, we know replacement windows. We’re third-generation window replacement experts who have been lucky to provide homeowners replacement windows, siding, and doors for over fifteen years. We opened our first showroom in Maryland in 2006, quickly growing to serve homeowners in cities across the country – and we’re not stopping there. We’re grateful for every homeowner who has trusted us to upgrade their most important asset: their home. We’ve learned a lot about home improvement over the years, but the most important thing we learned isn’t about window replacement. We learned the home improvement industry isn’t about offering the best windows, siding and doors; it’s about the relationships we build with our customers.

Everything went really well. From the virtual appointment, to the install, everyone was very professional. We received a call the first week of June to schedule the installation. The two gentleman that came were on time, very nice and did an amazing job. One of Window Nation's team also stopped by to see how the installation was going. Overall we are extremely satisfied. We had 8 windows replaced.

The installers were professional and organized, they used dropcloths and cleaned up after their work. Windows looked beautiful and operate easily. This was a big job but they worked diligently all day and finished in 1 day, we were very pleased

It went just fine. They installers arrived when they said they would. Very professional. The windows were installed without problems, I'm very pleased with the quality of the windows and they really improved the appearance of my home. The installers cleaned up after themselves, you would never know any work had been done. Shannon was helpful with making appointment with sales dept.

Overall I approve. The sales pitch was a little tacky in my humble opinion and took up a lot of time to sell me windows We already wanted to buy. My main complaint out of anything was the length of time between sale and window measuring. It was a few weeks so I emailed asking when the measurements would take place and within a few hours I got a call scheduling the measurements. A few days before I got a call stating they had to reschedule due to the pandemic-totally understand. I feel as if they forgot about me or something though originally. If they had scheduled the measurements within a normal amount of time the whole project would have happened a lot sooner. The window install came just a few weeks later and the installers did an excellent job, very professional wearing masking taking all the proper precautions you would expect. I would recommend and would use them again to finish the rest of the house’s windows. Just some kinks they need to work out on timing I suppose.

BUYER BEWARE!! We would give this company zero stars if we could. We signed a contract at the end of November. We have a project that was supposed to be completed in mid-February - a month before the closure. We are still waiting. We went with WN because they were able to handle the full job: windows, doors, roof, and siding. Windows went in fine. Door install was shoddy / caulking mess, door was dinged and had to be replaced. Roof was done shoddily by a subcontractor, even when WN told us they did not sub out. We were picking nails and trash out of our yard for weeks afterward. No siding has been completed and we are being charged for gutters / spouts that were never installed. We requested siding with stone veneer. They said they could do that. We requested samples so we could pick colors. They took MONTHS to arrive, incomplete, no markings or labels. Only when we received them did we realize the samples were NOT real stone! They are Tando (molded vinyl) products. If we had not requested samples we would not have known until it was on the house. The lack of communication and the amount of time it has taken to finish this job is ridiculous. At this point, we've been partially finished through the closure and we have plywood that has now been exposed to the elements for months. I certainly understand that the closure has shaken things up and caused delays, but again - our job was supposed to have been finished well before it began. Aside from the "used car salesman", high-pressure sales tactics from Jeryl Wilborn (who had issues with other clients in the past and was eventually pulled from our account) at the get-go, we have been lied to repeatedly - about everything from errors in scheduling, to the products available, the work being sub-contracted out, charging us for unfinished jobs, and failure to communicate in a timely manner with information we needed in order to make decisions. Sales manager Cameron Howat told us that this is not the first time WN has bailed on a contract for failure to uphold their agreement. UPDATE: WN called us - after 6 months under contract - to say that they sold us a product they do not carry (Tando...even after their service guy had talked to us about installing it on other jobs) and they would not be able to honor the price agreed upon for the products we selected. If we wanted them to proceed, it would be $15K more than our contract price!! When we said this was unacceptable, they responded by bailing on the project with a letter saying they would mail us our refund for the siding job only. They are leaving us on the hook for the balance of jobs that are still not completed, as well as products not received (gutters and downspouts). At this point, they are not responding to calls or emails. We have never imagined that customer service from this company could be so poor. We will be filling complaints with the state attorney general's office and the BBB and leaving reviews wherever possible until the situation is resolved.
