+ -1 moreCame within a few hours and inspected the unit, agreed the motor was bad - bearings shot, fan could hardly be turned by hand. They didn't have the replacement in stock - apparently there are 100 sizes and HP used. Ours was 1/8 HP 220 v. Emerson. Motor came in and they installed it the same day. Everything is working great now.
Description of Work: Central air conditioning wasn't working. Another local firm gave us a bid of $1000 to fix it - needed a new fan motor for the outside compressor. McGee gave us a quote of $500, had to order the motor but had it installed in a few days.
