Our neighbors recommended Jungle Jim based on their experience, and I checked him out on Angie's List. He provided an on-site estimate while he was working at a neighbor's house. He arrived to do the work when he said he would, and climbed a tree twice when we decided we wanted another branch gone.

Absolutely excellent experience, even fun to watch (from a safe distance). Jim came right on time to assess the work and give us an estimate on a written contract, which we accepted. His price was slightly lower than we expected. We called him back to set a day for the work; he and his crew of three men (and their state-of-the-art equipment) arrived just when he said they would. Everyone performed at optimum efficiency...the whole job was done in about two and a half hours. They cleaned up the entire area with rakes and leaf blowers, leaving it better looking and tidier than before. Even the machinery noise level wasn't as loud or grating as I thought it would be. Jim is just the kind of contractor everyone wants to hire---on time, really good at what he does, and very pleasant. Several of our neighbors have him booked now.

Read about Jungle Jims on Angie's List. Called and scheduled an estimate time with a very nice Kathi. Jim left the estimate within 2 days. The price was good and we gave Kathi the go-ahead. She said the team would be out within a week or two (it has been raining for quite awhile). Within a week to week and half a four man team called first then arrived. They were nice, efficient and worked very well together. Mike dug-up some of my perennials which were close to the stumps; he Frank and Rob traced and dug-up an electrical cord for our outdoor lights so as not to cut it. Plus they were quick and clean-up was very good. I will definitely use Jungle Jims again!

Excellent service!! After a storm, a pine tree in my front lawn had become unstable. The root ball was loose and we were concerned that the tree would fall on our house. I call Jim and they came out the next day, left an estimate and after I agreed he came back the next day and cut it down. I wasn't home so he left the bill for the exact amount he quoted me.

My husband left a voicemail message at Jungle Jim's after reading excellent reviews on Angie's List. A woman called him back, he explained what he wanted to have done, and she indicated that someone would be in touch. We can't remember how much time passed -- probably around 10 days -- with no word from Jungle Jim's. He gave the job to another tree service who responded within 24 hours.

Very good service. Their price and workmanship were great! Our tree looks 100% better and they cleaned up very well. They even cleaned our roof and gutters (front and back) of all the leaves.

Jungle Jim's Tree Service provided a complete estimate quicker than promised and completed the job 3 days later. They arrived absolutely on time and were completed within 3 hours. Everything was taken away and the yard was completely cleaned up. The job was truly excellent!!!

Great! Jim came out and gave me an estimate during a scheduled appointment. I also asked him to look at some other trees to see what he thought since he was the professional. I was told that someone would call to schedule and that it would be a few weeks. A couple weeks later I came home from running errands and they were just cleaning up. There were 5 or 6 guys and they had been there about 40 minutes. They did a great job cleaning up; in fact they cleaned up other piles of limbs/ branches that I had collected post storm and just not addressed yet; leaves too, and, they cleaned off my roof. It was great! Get in, get out and get it done! I'll definitely use them again. The big surprise was that the house actually looked better with the trees cut back from it!

We got 3 competing bids and Jungle Jim's was by far the lowest. Of the three bids, they were also the one with the earliest availability date. Once the job was arranged, they came exactly when they said they would and took care of the job quickly and professionally (within just a few hours). We had to point out a few roots that they had missed, but they were immediately responsive and removed them without question. They also performed minor trimming on some of the trees near the ones they removed (which hadn't been in our original agreement) at no extra charge. It was about as painless and trouble-free as these types of jobs could be. We were glad to have them work for us and would hire them again.

Overall the job went very well. The only downside is there was quite a bit of wood chips created and 100% of it was not picked up, especially from the stump removal. One log fell and smacked a chain link fence, but the fence is both right under the tree and it is very old so I said nothing.

We called for a bid to remove the tree from the yard in back of our house. Mr. Kraynick came promptly the following Saturday after my call leaving an estimate that included the equipment he would need to complete the job. When we made our decision to have Jim remove the tree we called and left a message telling him that we were ready and to schedule the job. The very next day I heard a chain saw and looked out the window to find Jim and three other workers already cutting branches. The work was done very efficiently and thoroughly. The hole was smoothed over and every hint of debris was removed. They even cleaned scraps off the street.

His prices are very reasonable. They are very reliable and do good work.

Crew was on-time, courteous, very quick, and very careful with adjacent garages and cable/phone lines through tree. They did an excellent job of cleaning up as well.

The overall experience was a good one. They came in, were very polite gentleman, cut down the trees, cleaned up well and made sure to tell us when spring comes if we see any remnants please feel free to let them know.
