The guy was awesome.  We had been told by two people from another heating and AC company we'd worked with for years that our furnace needed an expensive ($1,000+) repair and possibly needed to be replaced.  This guy came in, looked at it, said "I can fix it."  In 15 minutes our furnace was working like new again.  We will definitely use them again.

The guys did an excellent job. Very efficient. Also very nice guys.I would  suggest Beams heating to anyone.

My heater broke Saturday. They called me back that night and fixed it first thing in the morning.

Arrived on time and completed the work in 2 days.  Beams had the best price!  Even though it was snowing  and below freezing, the A/C was installed.  I will be using Beam for all my furnace and A/C repairs and maintenance.

Arrived on time, quick and efficient service.  Scheduling took awhile.  Tried to schedule in Oct, got a Nov date which Beam changed to Dec.   This was not an emergency, just a routine checkup.  We have called Beam in the past with no heat in below freezing weather and they were there very fast and got us up and running. Good Company.

My old furnace limped through last winter and I was in the market for an excellent, efficient, forced air, gas furnace and central AC unit. I plan to stay in my house for another 20 years, so I was willing to spend some money and take the time to get the right product and installer. I looked at Angie's list and talked with friends before calling 5 HVAC providers (2 Carrier, 2 Lennox and 1 Trane is the breakdown of what they quoted). I met with each of them and showed them my house and existing forced air system. All of them were knowledgeable and helpful and I think would have done a good job (read: reliable equipment and experienced technicians).
 I chose Beam for the following reasons: They offer a 70,000 BTU furnace (most of the major brands offer 60,000 or 80,000) and my house is small, but old and not particularly well insulated  - I didn't want the system to be too big for the house, but I didn't want to worry about it not being able to handle the coldest days. Beam is smaller company, but not too small and I think it will be around for a while - and I was looking for not just a new furnace and AC, but service in the coming years.  They also have a limited service area, which I hope means that down the line when I need help some cold day, the technician won't be coming from a call way across town. Also, the pricing seemed right.
The AC for me is not crucial  but  I did want it for those really hot 2-3 weeks or so a year, and Beam took that into account and quoted/sold me a unit that will serve my needs without being overkill.
Two technicians came and did the installation.  They got everything in and out in a day and I think they did an excellent job - it looks great. They also gave me a nice 'tour' of the new system - explained where the various shut off valves are, how to change the filters (even let me take a little video because there is no way I'd remember how to change the humidifier filter!)
I think, considering the limitations of my little house, I got the best system for the place - expertly installed and for a fair price.
After a month and a half which included some very cold temperatures, I am very pleased (and warm) and glad I went with Beam.
