The process started with me leaving a voice message which was returned within 15 minutes. We made an appointment for a visit to review the project; Sal was on time and very knowledgeable. Alternative Fuel handled the permit process along with scheduling the mark out to be completed. On the start day I was informed that the team would arrive by 8 AM and they did. The tank was removed with no issues and inspection was scheduled for later in the day. They returned in 2 days to remove the tank.

They did great work removing 2 tanks and all of the piping associated with the oil tanks in my basement. They were very prompt and professional. They knew what they were doing. They removed the excess oil, cleaned the tanks of all remaining residue, cut the tanks in pieces and disposed of them. They also removed all pipes and patched the area as needed. I highly recommend them!

Did a good job. Arrived early and took care of the oil tank. Once the tank was inspected Sal is found to come and take the tank away.

First let me start by saying Sal is a true professional. He came early to look at a job at my daughters house. From being up in the Poconos for 34 years that's rare. Let me now tell you about the crew sent to the house. Shawn, George and Tom were total Professionals and Magicians. Let me explain. From the start I was very nervous about them cutting up 2 HUGE Oil Tanks in my daughters basement with no way out but up the stairs of the basement and out through the back door of the house. Another thing was for them to get the oil out of those tanks before cutting them up. Before I knew it this crew had them cut up and out of the house. They did it with precision and not spilling a drop. I spill more water in my ice trays walking them to my freezer LOL. They work very clean as well. If you want the job done PERFECTLY call Sal. You will thank me later.

I had my oil tank removed today. What a great company! Their price was the best, too. I was afraid I'd lose my driveway or my sidewalk, but they were able to remove the tank without any damage to either. The final price was exactly as I expected. They were here and gone is a little over 3 hours, and that included the city inspection to close the permit. I wish all companies were as efficient and easy to deal with.

Through Home Advisor (Angi) we contacted a highly recommended company called Alternative Petroleum Services. The response from APS was immediate and APS VP Sal Sciascia was at our house that afternoon to evaluate and provide solutions for the issues. The initial project process, including permits and inspections was professionally accomplished and completed within 3 days. Additional follow up work was completed separately also in a professional and timely manner. Communication and explanation of services was excellent. Sal and his polite crew did an excellent professional job excavating our 500gal LP tank and even returned to dump extra load of crushed stone into hole Free Of Charge and regrading top soil and lawn so we didn't have to worry about water collection attracting insects or us falling due to fact our rocky soil required 2 full loads of crushed rocks to make it level. We highly recommend Alternative Petroleum Services and personally refer straight talking Sal, Maria and their construction crew to neighbors and anyone considering excavation or other services they provide. You will be happy, just like us, as finding reliable polite contractors is not easy as we know well after having hundreds come to do work on our home and yard since we had house built in 1998. Alternate Petroleum Service provides superior service. With a finished basement without an outdoor entrance, 2à  à ¢à  à  à  à  330-gallon tanks had to be installed after removing 2-270 tanks. I was assured the care to the worker Will keep my property clean and without an oil smell. After a 10-four day, the finished basement remained as it was and there was no sense of oil odor. Great to work with!
