1. The ceiling was damaged in the installation of tall cabinets with no apologies offered. 2. The upper cabinets to the left of the sink had to be modified after installation due to uneven distances on either side of sink window. 3. Island was not installed in the proper designated area per the plan drawings. We found this mistake ourselves. 4. Sink strainer should never have been ordered as a garbage disposal and unsure why order was changed. 5. Crown molding left missing from upper cabinet next to hood vent. This was never addressed by installers to company but brought to their attention by us. 6. Cabinet doors above microwave were not glazed as other cabinets were. 7. Drawer front damaged and never addressed by installers. 8. Same drawer front replacement installed upside down by installers and not noticed or addressed except by us. 9. Electrical outlet covered up by bottom cabinets by installers and only admitted to after electrician couldn’t find the outlet. 10. Bottom cabinets were not screwed to the wall. Builder/trim installer found this negligence before counter top installed. 11. Not sure what Bruce’s role is in the project and less than professional and short on the phone. 12. Follow through on install never evident by company designer and we had to resort to contacting the company manager to get the job done. Manager also did not visit site as he stated he would to verify job completion.

They started to gut bathroom, drywall & paint then they put heat in floor & installed floor, measured for counter top. Put cabinet in & installed counter top, put in plumbing & toilet, connected everything.

Met with Andrea Woodall at HBG. Kit. & Bath and told her what we would like done. 1 week later she had our plans rendered and constructed schedule. All trades were awesome.

Consultant Andrea patiently walked us through the process, making it as smooth and painless as possible, provided all the info we needed and even though this wasn't a huge job for them, she made us feel it was just as important to her as it was to us. Installers Tony and Jason did amazing work and just as patiently answered all the questions we threw at them. We are very happy with the results.

I had another great project with HKB. I found a pretty beveled crema marfil subway tile for my kitchen backsplash on line. They were very helpful in evaluating the quality of the tile and helped me find the right pencil liner to complete the correct install. The project was done in a timely manner and communication throughout the project was excellent. Installer was professional, courteous and was respectful of my home by covering wood floors/leaving areas clean. The attention to detail was fantastic. I am a "high maintenance" client and they surpassed my expectations again! I would highly recommend them to my friends.

It's been a long and hard process. I'm not sure I want to do a remodel on our own again, but we LOVE our kitchen. Andrea, your design was totally amazing! If we had hired HKB, all of the work would now be done and we could sit back and relax. There are small jobs we need to finish (floor trim, closet, stairs), but we will work on them as time permits. We have plans to do a bathroom remodel in the next year or two. This is not a job we want to tackle, so if Andrea will have us back, we would like to go to HKB for the job.

The designer visited the home and helped with the design plan. She brought samples and helped with the choice of all materials. The job was completed ahead of the estimated time. Workmanship was excellent.

Andrea took the time to really listen to what we wanted and worked with us to provide an outstanding design. Tom and Jordan installed the cabinets with minimal disruption or mess from construction and impact. A first class job completed early!

HKB design experts and diverse showroom guided our initial design. We met both in our home and at the design center. During the project, the designer and head contractor were available when needed. The trades people were neat and clean and they fulfilled all job demands/requirements. We would use this company again.

Tony came in and gutted the whole bathroom with another person the first day. Took out toilet, started working on tile floor, cabinets, painting, closet and moldings. Someone else put in counter top. Tony finished misc and touch up paint, put in door and knob. Cleaned up, put back toilet etc.

I have worked with Harrisburg Kitchen and Bath before for my bathrooms. That is why I am a return customer for the kitchen. I worked with designer Andrea Woodall. She started out with a home visit when she takes pictures and listened very closely to my wish list and provides excellent feedback. A little while latter, I went to the showroom where I was shown a computer rendering of the remodel. I found this very helpful. When all decisions were finalized, there was a contract to sign. The job entailed tearing down a drywall pantry, mounting new wall cabinets and floor cabinets, adjusting the flooring to fit the new cabinets, adding a pantry cabinet and a cabinet over the refrigerator, new countertops, new appliances, moving an existing cabinet up so a microwave could be mounted, tile back splash and painting, and a few other things.
Some of this work required coordination with other companies and subcontractors. Andrea took care of all that. The work was started on the date I was told it would start and finished on the date I was told it would be done. When the work started, they covered my carpet with plastic runners. There were three men that did my job. They were on-time, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and worked well together. Every night before they left, the area was cleaned up and left in a usable condition for me. Andrea was available at all times to answer any questions I had or the men had. When the men came in, they knew exactly what they were to do and went right to it.
If during the job something was discovered that needed to be done, it is taken care of with an add-on. When the work was completed, Andrea had me make a list of anything that needed any further attention. The few items I had were attended to immediately and then Andrea did her own personal walk through. I was also told by more that one of them that if I find any issue to call them and they will be available. It is a one-stop shop for remodeling. Everyone at Harrisburg Kitchen and Bath makes it easy and it is quality workmanship.

We stopped by their showroom to see what products they offered. Mike Womelsdorf, their designer, sat down with us and determined what we wanted. Then he made an appointment to come over and take pictures and measurements of our old bathroom. After a few days, he called us and we visited the showroom again where he showed us a computer generated graphic design based on our bathroom and what we told him. If we wanted to change wall or floor colors, mirrors, sizes, etc. he could do that on the computer. After he made the changes we went back a few days later and looked it over making a few minor changes. We could see samples of all their products right there in the showroom.
Then Tom, their installation manager came over to look at our bathroom, discuss details and take final measurements. After about a week Mike called us and had an estimate and a contract prepared for us. We went over the estimate and there were several options he could give us to lower the cost if we wanted, i.e. keep the same vanity top, lower cost materials etc. We decided we wanted everything new with real wood. We signed a contract that included a start date that was about a month away and he gave us an estimated finish time of 2-weeks. Their workmen showed up on the agreed start date and promptly removed our old vanity, mirror, baseboard, old ceiling and wall lighting.
They were neat and courteous. They were capable of doing the plumbing and electrical work, moving a wall outlet and the location of a new wall light. They removed our toilet in order to do a neat job installing Dura Ceramic tiles. Then they painted and patched the walls using paint we provided because we wanted the same paint as in our bedroom and then installed the new flooring. They installed a new vanity, counter top, medicine cabinet, and mirror. They installed new baseboard and trim around the bathtub. They also repaired a bathroom closet door we had damaged earlier trying to remove a knob. This was an add on but very reasonable only $75 and we appreciated that very much. They installed towel bars, towel ring, and toilet paper holder to match our lighting fixtures and put up new shower curtain rods.
They cleaned up after themselves every day. After the job was finished Mike came over to take pictures and settle up. He also offered to send us before and after pictures. They came back promptly for some small touch ups we discovered. Mike said if there was ever any problem to call him and they would make it right, and also even if we damaged something after the warranty expired they would come and repair it or replace it for us no matter how small a job or cost.
