I requested help on Angi on Wednesday and was set up with a Friday appointment. Received a call from Old Skool telling me they could come to my house on Wednesday. Frank came to the house, diagnosed the issue, didn't try to upsell me with things I didn't need. He told me he thought he could have a new AC unit to install on Friday and they are here, on Friday, installing my new AC unit. Everyone at Old Skool is professional and courteous. The price was competitive and not only will I use Old Skool again, but I will recommend them to others. You won't go wrong with Old Skool!

Our central A/C broke and a repairman from the company we purchased it from 15 years prior told us we needed a new compressor. I put the project on Anji to get a few quotes for replacement, and rec'd a call minutes later. We set up an appointment set up for the next morning. Frank came and looked at our system, we told him what the other repair person had said, Frank (the owner of Old Skool ) did a more thorough look at the entire system, and within 45 minutes realized the problem was with one wire on the outside of the unit in our attic and not the compressor outside. He replaced the wire, and instead of a two to four thousand dollar replacement, it cost us a couple of hundred bucks. (The quote visit turned into the repair visit.) It's really easy to see that Frank is an expert and knows his stuff inside and out. He made a recommendation for a fix to prevent the issue from happening again. We're definitely going to use old skool going forward for all of our HVAC maintenance and repair. Frank was friendly, covid-19 safe, and he had the ability to break down the problems in laymen's terms.

Project was install a new water heater. what a great group of service people. Pleasure to have in my house. Knew what to do, explained what they were doing so to educate me to make intelligent decisions on the work. Gave me heads up on any future problems they saw. Clean up afterwards, no surprises and great prices. Would call them first to work on any project that needed to be done. These are the kind of service people you want doing your work. They are more than welcome to stop by anytime even to just at hello.

These guys are amazing!!!! I hired Old Skool HVAC to come look at my AC system that had failed a few days prior and was not generating any cold air. This is a second home and I was more than 1200 miles away so the visit and inspection had to be done "virtually". Frank came as indicated, after he completed a job in DE later than expected, and YET he still drove to my home late in the afternoon to honor his commitment. I had someone from another company (one that advertises a lot and is a huge company in the Delaware Valley) come out a few days earlier who told me my compressor was shot and would need a $4000 repair, if they could even find the part because the system was old. They also told me that replacing the whole system for $10K+ was the best way to go. That didn't fly with me so I called Old Skool for a second opinion. They diagnosed the problem as a simple fix, one that the other company never even looked for, and now the AC is running perfectly!!!! Frank did this over the phone and was trustworthy, honest, professional, skilled and knowledgeable. I would have him do all of my HVAC work in the future!!!!! I am so grateful to have met him and had this experience!!!!

I need an oil tank removed and Frank sent his crew over. Francis could not have been nicer. The whole crew laid down tarps so not to get any debris on my floor. They swept up even in spots where the tank was not located. Very efficient, polite, and clean. The price to remove the oil tank was hands down the best price I ever saw.
