They replaced the bearings in the front axle of my all wheel drive SUV, but didn't shim them properly because the proper shims weren't immediately available. They said to bring the vehicle back in in two weeks to re-shim and finish the job. When I brought the car back in, they said they decided that they couldn't shim the axle properly and so wanted to instead replace the whole axle with a used one from the salvage yard (with used bearings) - at an additional $200.00 cost. So I got an inferior product for an increased price.
They definitely didn't have my best interests in mind, but were looking for the easiest way out of a tough job. I'll not go back to them again!

They are very good I use them about two or three times a year for oil changes. I have also had them to do inspections on it. They have been very good to me and I will continue to use them in the future.

You don't need appointment to go there. You can just show up and they have a very nice waiting room. They've got coffee, cookies, TV, newspapers and magazines. They're religious and honest people. The quality is excellent and they keep history of prior repairs.

The heater has worked with no problems.

Check engine light on 2002 Honda CR-V turning on and off. They quoted approx $120 to run diagnostic. Gas cap needed to be replaced after they ran a check on the sealing of the gas cap. They also replaced the front brakes and provided estimate for other items that may cause car to fail yearly inspection.

Service department was very helpful and quickly came to the desk to explain what was done for the gas cap since I had replaced it only a few months prior.

I was not charged the $120 to run the diagnostic. Most likely due to other work that was done on the vehicle.

I've had 2 cars inspected in the past 2 months by them. I find their pricing to be rather high. My car needed an oxygen sensor, that bill came to $400.00 with inspection. The second car needed 2 tires, bulbs, brake pads and rotars. The estimate came to approx $700. Ended up taking it elsewhere for tires, 4 tires were actually needed and the price was much better (went to Jack Williams) I had the brakes done at Zimmerman's, bill was a little over $400, when I drove they seemed worse but thought I was just not used to the new "equipment". After about 2 days I just didn't feel they were safe, could barely stop w/o pressing the brake to the floor. When I called and said they seemed worse the comment made was "oh, he's the new guy, just bring it back in". New or not, brakes need to be done right. They didn't offer any compensation for my time or the inconvenience though they had my car for another entire day. A free car wash or oil change would have been nice, will most likely not have cars serviced here again. They also leave cars dirty. Had to wipe down doors and dash because of the dirty hand prints everywhere. Not very professional.
