We purchased a storm door from one of the local chain hardware, lawn and garden store and paid to have it installed. We were told we would be contacted sometime that week. I got a call two days later from the contractor. I believe I talked to George but Jay or Jason Shoaff did the work. I'll skip to the work he did: First off, he called to say he was running late. At least he called, most contractors wouldn't bother. He had the door on in record time. I knew he was done when I heard the vacuum cleaner! I was impressed that he got the door on right and even cleaned up after himself. After he was done, he was very nice and explained the warranty, and with a little shifting of the glass and screens, a quick lesson how to make the door close faster or slower and the job was complete. I grew up watching my father do all his own work so I know a good job when I see one and I loved that he cleaned up the dust from drilling the holes. After talking to him I found out he can do a lot more than storm doors. I have a few more projects for Jason "Jay" Shoaff and will be calling him in the fall or winter for an estimate. I would put him in the category of contractor and handyman.
