Express Concrete did a great job with the new driveway, apron, and curb.

Don worked us in before the May date, which we really appreciated.  He and his worker arrived on time and began removing the old sidewalk.  They were efficient and friendly.  After removing the sidewalk, they raked the area. added gravel and put down wood forms.  The concrete was poured two days later.  Because of inclement weather, the work was finished the next day.  Don also sealed where the sidewalk and driveway met to keep out rain water.  Don and Bob were very professional and communicative, cleaning up the entire area and even putting back the mulch.  The sidewalk looked beautiful, and we are very pleased with the work that was done.  We will definitely use Express Concrete for future projects.  Thank you Don and Bob!!

It's not what this business has done, it's what they didn't do and that is to return my initial phone call. Obviously the owner doesn't need the business all that much. I called during the week of March 7 and today is March 22 and still no returned call. I already found someone else to do the work, therefore hopefully this owner won't waste my time and call me a month later. I am not really sure how one can be on Angie's List if the business cannot even return a phone call.

I was extremely impressed by Express Concrete from start to finish.  We had just asked for stamped concrete, and as he came to the house, he was able to transform our idea into a nicer one.  He takes pride in his work and it shows.  Every step of the way he would let us know what he was doing and making sure we were happy with the progress.  He was timely, responsive, and professional.  I highly recommend him and am looking forward to future projects where I could use his services.  I don't think you will find a better person to trust with a project for your home.

Don did an outstanding job. The quality was excellent and he was punctual with his start date, daily arrival and end date. Don was the most meticulous contractor I ever used. His attention to detail was outstanding. I would highly recommend him for any concrete work needed.

Stop looking and book this amazing contractor, Don Bridy. Get on his schedule, if you can! Don is a true professional, concrete artist! From the first meeting, when he came to see the project to the last day he was on site, he was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and a perfectionist. He and his crew are hard workers and their attention to detail is outstanding!
    Our driveway, walkway and porch were new in 1961. When Don got his hands on them, they were all cracked, lifted and barely functional. The porch was falling away from the house. He transformed an ugly eyesore into a beautiful finished porch, walkway and double car driveway. When we need concrete work again, he will be the one we call. Seriously, call him before you are ready because he is booked solid!!

From my initial meeting with Don Bridy when he sized up the project and pvoided me with a verbal estimate (followed by a written contract) until the end of the project Don was professional, punctional, communicative, and very particular with his work.  He and his co-worker Dave did an outstanding job with replacing the pad at the front door of the house and replacing the sidewalk.  Both worked very hard and diligently, paying close attention to every detail thoughout the entire process.  After removing the forms to the pad and sidewalk Don and Dave even troweled the sides of the new concrete.  At the time Don provided me with a verbal estimate, he discussed a few things he would do if awarded the job.  Everything Don mentioned to me verbally was put into the written contact and done.  These folks obviously take great pride in their work and I would recommend them to anyone needing high quality concrete work done by people who care.   Thank you Don and Dave for a job well done.

Don at Express Concrete was prompt to respond to our request for a quote to replace our concrete driveway (51'x16') and on-time for the appointment.  The work was scheduled in a timely manner (within 2 weeks) and was completed as promptly as permitted by a rainy July.  We really appreciated how Don was very careful to schedule the pouring only when there was a rain-free window.  
The completed work more than met our expectations and has greatly improved the appearance of our home. The original driveway had been poured with no rock base and had subsided (needed a "ramp" into the garage) and had many cracks. They excavated and added/compacted a minimum of 4" of 2 B stone and used rebar to attach the new driveway to our garage and porch. They used control joints, sealed the driveway and hauled the old concrete away. 
Don and his co-workers seem to us to be very proud of their work and they went above and beyond in taking care and providing service.  For example, our mailbox was blocked during the pouring and Don took the mailman our mail and picked up our mail for
us!  They also brought in our garbage cans on collection day.

Mr. Bridy gave us an accurate estimate of the work he would do and the cost.
When we requested a delay because we needed to make an out-of-town trip, he agreed to begin work  at a later date.
All the work was done in a professional manner. Mr. Bridy was on hand both supervise is workers and do much of the work himself.
We gladly recommend Express Concrete to anyone who needs sidewalk replacement.

Don Bridy of Express Concrete was a thorough professional, listening to the specific details of how I wanted it constructed and adding suggestions from his years of experience, while giving me the options of deciding the exact specifications for the project.  His work was very neat (not disturbing more lawn than was absolutely necessary), quality construction (using expansion strips and re-enforcing rods drilled into adjacent concrete to prevent settlement, etc.), timely (excepting only unavoidable weather delays) and very fairly priced.

Because he does the work himself, he is a little difficult to initially get a hold of.  But in his voice mail he tells you that up front.  I got a call back in one day.  He came out and viewed the potential project and discussed various options that I had but recommended replacing the front stoop and all the sidewalk.  I did not feel pressured into selecting the total replacement of my stoop and sidewalk but it seemed to me to be the best option in view of the condition of my existing sidewalk and stoop.   He showed up at the time and day he specified he would be there.  It was a two day job.  He answered any question that I had about the job.  He finished the job when he said he would.  I am more than pleased with the job.  I would hire him in second if I had any other concrete jobs.  He and his crew were professional, diligent, and paid attention to detail. The price was excellent. If you have a concrete job and want it done right and on time, then hire Express Concrete.

Don showed up promptly for scheduled estimate.   He provided a non-detailed estimate until I agreed to have him do the job then I received a contract and detailed estimate in the mail.  I was a bit hesitant because as they say, 'the devil's in the details'.  But I went with my gut as Don was very easy to talk to and share my concerns with and I'm glad I did.  He answered all of my questions and concerns during the project as well.  He is a true master of his craft as is conscious of the details.  Each day, he was insistent on cleaning up his work area and keeping things tidy.  I had a bet with my hubby that I could see this job through from beginning to end on my own and he was quite impressed!  The only concern he has is with the access to water entering the expansion during the winter months, freezing and causing problems.  We will be getting expansion caulk and sealing it ourselves.  
We love our new carport & breezeway and look forward to coming back in a few years to comment on how it has held up.  We are excited for Don to come and install the new column.  We would definitely recommend Express Concrete to our family and friends and would contract with them again. The owner came to the house and worked on the job the entire time with an employee.  Both were pleasant and friendly to talk to.  Don took time to explain the process and made sure we were happy with the quality of the work each day.  He completed the job on time and on budget.  We would definitely use him again if the situation arose.

protected our landscaping and other outside items and cleaned up
completely when they were finished.   We would recommend Express Concrete to others who may be
considering a patio, porch or driveway replacement.   Very happy with our new patio.
Don is a very good concrete man and he is present during the whole job.  

I have used Express Concrete services before and the job they finished for me today was beautifully done.  Don told me when I first contacted him that he was busy and that he may not be able to get to it until August. But he called last week and told my wife that they would be here at the end of the week and get started. When they arrived Friday, he explained what they were going to do and went right to work. I couldn't recommend Express concrete any more highly. In the future, anytime that I need concrete work done, I will be calling Don.

It was excellent. I have had no issues at all. The work was very well done and the timelines were met. The owner was very much in charge and doing a lot of the work. The other workers were also very qualified. The owner came out a few weeks after the work was completed to do a follow up. I would recommend them without hesitation.

We had a great experience getting the new sidewalks and driveway! Don is very knowledgeable and explains everything that will be happening in the days ahead. We had weather that didn't want to cooperate throughout the time he had set aside, but he worked around it and it is completed.  He started on the start day he said in the proposal and finished close to that day as well.         He had the help of one guy for the sidewalks, and 2 more for the driveway and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Since we widened the old sidewalks, we'll have some new landscaping to do, but after they left everything everything looked great!

Don was so professional and knowledgeable. When he came to give the estimate we explained what the goal was and he explained in exact detail how to get the best results. We received the estimate within a week detailing every single item we agreed upon. He explained his schedule was filling up and was able to accommodate the date we wanted the work done. His schedule was about a month out and that was perfect for us.  He was extremely meticulous and communicated with us during the entire 4 day process. He stayed on schedule, even accounted for any rain and we had rain one day. He was always prompt and friendly. The work has started to cure and it is just amazing. We could not be happier. We are getting compliments on the project and its has not finished curing. I had two friends already request his contact information.

It took us a year to settle on a company to choose for this job as it is the entranceway to our home. We asked everyone we knew for referrals and no one that had concrete work completed was extremely satisfied, that is why we turned to Angie's List for the first time. Don's reviews for his work were undeniable. We were comfortable with his detailed explanation and him as a person from the first day we met him. We highly recommend Don and already had him quote another job for the fall.
