This was a really good experience.  Ray was punctual, consistent and professional throughout the estimate and performance of the work.  He arrived on time, finished the job in a timely manner and cleaned up thoroughly.  His workers were also very polite and hard working.  I would recommend Ray to anyone needing these services.

Their services were very good, they cleaned up. Their prices were very reasonable, they provided very good all around service.

They were really nice. I did not like that they were cash only.

I spoke with Ray on the phone, told him what I wanted, he drove to the site to view the hedges and called me back the same day with the quote.  I agreed to have him take care of the hedges and a few days later the ugly hedges were perfectly shaped and no longer blocking the walkway.  This is the second time I used his services.  He is extremly PROMPT and very professional.  He very much cares about the end result.  The whole process is stress-free.  He is definitely a keeper.  If you are looking for someone to handle trees/shrubs, etc., you would be crazy not to call him.  

The service was very good....he was very nice and he cleaned up everything real nice.  The price was good too compared to another estimate I got.  He explained everything real well.

My husband called Ray Hellman who came and gave us an estimate within a few days; the work was scheduled the following week.
My husband called to confirm a time on Monday and the work was scheduled for Wednesday.  Crew came on time with crane & bucket truck plus the grinder truck, removed the limbs plus other dead limbs I hadn't noticed overhanging the sidewalk and road.  Professional, knowledgeable, skilled, polite and communicative about the work.

Even though I did not specify how much of the tree I wanted cut back, the result, which took place while I was at work, was perfect.  There was not a single piece of branch left in the yard.  Ray was very courteous, professional and made certain I was happy with the finished product.  I would definitely recommend his work to anyone (and I already have).

I called Ray on a Monday, he gave me an estimate that day. After accepting his quote, he called on Thursday to say he'd be able to do the work on Friday. Ray arrived at 9 am Friday morning with a crew of 2, and a few trucks. Using a bucket truck and crane he removed the tree without problem. He then removed the stump. The crew worked quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. They completed the job in about 2 1/2 hours. We also asked Ray's opinion on some other trees in our yard. We found him to be honest and knowledgable.

We called him, he and described the tree we needed removed, he than inspected our property and called back with an estimate. Than a week later after we agreed on the phone he removed the tree. 2 weeks later he ground the stump and left us the bill. he did exactly what we asked and dealing with him was very convenient.

Found them from Angie's List, called, they presented an estimate, hired them to do the work, and Viola! IT ALL TURNED OUT PERFECT!

Hellman's Tree Service was aggressive in pruning the trees and we will not know for a while if the trees will survive given their dismal health, pre-pruning. Ray at Hellman's responded quickly, came when he said they would, showed up early, worked all day and did a great job clearing the mess. He was easy to work with, pleasant and professional. I liked him! Here's hoping the trees not only survive, but thrive!

They did a really nice job at a very reasonable rate. I had the Blue Spruce trimmed 3 yrs ago for over $300.00. They worked quickly cleaning up really well. Also I had large amt of debris , dead vines ,which were in my back yard, and they removed them and cleaned up area well. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Ray came out the same day we called to give us an estimate. He said they would be out the following week to grind the tree and limbs up and haul them away. He came up as scheduled and did a great job. He even raked up the area where we had the large pile of limbs. We couldn't have been more pleased.

I was pleased with them. They cleaned everything up. The price was good. The final price was the same as the price that they quoted me. They are very dependable. I would recommend them to others.
