Ramsay's Automotive, Inc. employs 3 automotive technicians at each location (Downingtown & Malvern) to complete the work on your vehicle and a service writer to greet you when you arrive and keep you informed as the work progresses. A call for a typical state inspection, for example, may include the items required to pass the inspection, a group of recommendations from the technician and finally, work that may be needed at a later date. To prevent surprises, you'll receive a cost estimate during the call and you'll be asked for approval to proceed. Payment is expected when the work has been completed, and can be in the form of cash, check or major credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express).
Ramsay's Automotive provides a full complement of vehicle repair and preventive maintenance services, from brakes and tires to complicated diagnostics. For your convenience, we provide a free shuttle service to your home or workplace when you drop off your vehicle for service.

"[removed member name] , thanks for stopping in this morning to schedule the work, we'll see you next week. Thanks for the review! Tom"
"The first quote of $1,000.00 was after a quick glance in the parking lot at our Downingtown shop, which doesn’t perform that type of repair. The customer was told it would need further inspection for a complete estimate done at our Malvern shop. The car was brought to the Malvern shop on August 6. While preparing an estimate, the technician found the damage was more extensive than initially thought. We also noticed there were additional repairs needed that we brought to the customer’s attention at the time of the initial estimate. We contacted the customer on the 7th and presented the estimate to her in two parts. The first part addressed the customer’s initial concern, and came to $2,268.32. The second estimate, for $513.04, was for the additional work, bringing the total to $2,781.36. Before beginning any repair work, the customer was given the option to go through insurance, which she declined. She had discussed it with her husband and authorized us to proceed with all of the work."
