Got a quote from Tom for replacing the passenger side mirror. He was very reasonable compare to many other dealers I have talked to with the price. Will definitely work with him in the future.

On July 26 - I spoke with Dave in Downingtown. he looked at damage to my vehicle & thought the cost of repair would be about $1000. I have a 1,000 deductible - no point at that time to file a claim with insurance. Told him to do the job. I rented a car for a 3 day period since that was the time table given for completion of this job. On Aug. 7 - I received a call from Tom in Malvern location - since the car was taken there for repair. Tom now quotes a $2 268 price for job!. Actual price on stamen came to $2,781.36. I was caught between a rock and a hard place. I then called my insurance company co. and was told Ramsay was not an authorized repair shop, I'd need to call and cancel the work until State Farm would approve or disapprove. The car already was at Ramsay and I had rented a car. I reluctantly decided to continue with Ramsay. I used them before and was treated fairly. The workmanship on the repair was good - but the whole way this pricing issue was handled by Ramsay was unsatisfactory. I wrote to Doug Ramsay and never heard a word from him. I will never go back to Ramsay's for anything. I should have gotten a statement in writing - but I trusted Dave and never thought the discrepancy in price would be that overwhelming.

I am very pleased with their prices, values, responsiveness, and the amount of time it takes the to finish. It is marvelous, and it couldn't be anymore handy for me. I have used them for years. You can drop your car off and they will shuttle you back where you need to go. Everything they said that the car needed, it did need. They are great diagnosticians. They don’t suggest any unnecessary work. They will work with your insurance company. They did a marvelous job. They have repaired my son’s car when he was in an accident, and it looks brand new.

I've used Ramsay's many times over the years for all of our vehicles. Having used another automotive shop in the East Brandywine area, and spending a fortune, Ramsay's was a welcome find. They get our vehicles serviced quickly, effectively, and provide friendly customer service, all for a reasonable price.

They are very honest, helpful, and trustworthy. They are helpful because they also are very close to my husband’s office and provide drop-off transportation to him.
