First and most important is that we had a different plumber out a week or 2 prior to Carney when the pipe clogged the first time. For the same $400 that plumber did a cleanout and identified a dip in the pipe with a remote camera as the cause of the problem -- but he did not see that the clog was due to a crack in the pipe causing dirt to come into the line, so it did not seam reasonable that just a dip would be enough to cause a clog like that since every trap is just a dip in the line. And the biggest difference was that he proposed to do the sewer line replacement for more than $6000! Carney had a better price by thousands. We did not get the work done by the first plumber, then had the 2nd clog and called Carney. Then we waited for it to clog again (Carney warned us that that would happen and could not guarantee their cleanout because of it) before finally making the decision to get the work done immediately since the toilets were unusable, so we called Carney to get the job done. The guys from Carney were all very professional and helpful and kept the house clean where they had to make the connection to the interior line. They put much more stone down and of a finer grade than was found around the original pipe (possibly the cause of the failure). They did their best to preserve shrubs and plants that had to come out, cut a minimum of tree branches that were in the way of the backhoe, and cleaned up well afterward. They had to leave a lot of dirt piled up, but advised that it needs to settle for a year before scraping off the rest to redo the landscaping. The only thing I was not happy about was having to put 1/2 down before the job was scheduled, and then Carney could not get there for 10 days. But they did help us out by offering to come and do a free clean out so we could use the plumbing (lightly - no clothes washing) while we waited for the sewer line replacement. That cleanout was successful and now the line has been replaced and everything works great. I have a big pile of dirt, but that is to be expected until the settling is done.

These guys are the greatest! Did work on time, on budget, professional. I would go to them again in a heart beat.

It's nice to know that when you have someone coming out to do an annual check on your systems they aren't going to try to upsell you something or get you to buy something you don't need. Everyone I have dealt with at Carney I can say I feel is trustworthy and honest. And I always felt safe with their service technicians in my home if no one else was home with me. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC repair, replacement, general maintanence.

They did an excellent job. The installation team were very professional, courteous and neat. I have used there service team for the past years to service my old unit. This was the first time I used them to install a new A/C and Furnace and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Carney's tech was able to do it without putting a single hole in my drywall. Hats off to Carney for great service! Everything was completed better than expected.

Joe Hill arrived promptly for our appointment, and was extremely knowledgeable regarding the work that would need to be performed. He answered all of my questions, and followed up the next day with a competitive, easy to understand written proposal. The proposal presented a good - better - best scenario, including the pricing and benefits for each system. When I contacted Joe for additional information, he responded immediately. Overall, an excellent experience. In the end I went with a competing product - but only because the space that I have available for the air conditioner is a bit tight and the Trane unit that I was considering was larger than others. Had this not been the case, I would have absolutely went with Joe Hill and Carney. All the research I did made it clear that proper installation is the most critical component of a quality HVAC replacement. This is the area where I felt Joe Hill's expertise was top notch. Should I ever need to install a new system on a different property, I will most certainly contact Joe Hill and Carney.

It was a good experience, and I'm very pleased with the bathroom fixtures.

Bid was clean and professional. Knew exactly what getting and why and was delivered and installed as promised... Did show up with incorrect outdoor unit but got furnace in and running in 1/2 day and outdoor unit done next day. Had one minor problem with humidifier which they responded to immediately. Would definitely reommmend them base on expericence to date

The quote to replace the garbage disposal was $626.31. I won't be using them for that because it was way too high to replace one. I can get one for $120 so $500 seems a little high for the installation. The price to replace the thermostat was way overpriced. It was about $300 for the installation. It took them less than 15 minutes. They came on time. They were pleasant. He knew what to do and he did it very quickly. The charges were overpriced. He did the job okay.

I noticed a slight leak coming from hot water heater and called Carney immediately. After asking a couple of questions, they sent a plumber with a new hot water heater. He removed old water heater and installed the new one. Cleaned everything up and took old heater with him. Very professional and was sure to make me aware of the care and maintenace for heater. I have used them for various other plumbing needs. They may not be the cheapest, but they are good at their job and give you your moneys worth. Would use them again.

Job was well done, response time was great, however this company will charge you an arm and a leg.

Carney did a great job from start to finish.

We received good advice and there was no pressure to proceed with any work because things were working OK.

Kevin arrived on time, was polite, gave us the cost of the work quickly, and then proceeded to work. Mind you, I think $280 is probably a bit pricey for cutting a pipe, sweating two pipes, and installing a valve, but Carney has always done excellent work.

He told me the toilet needed to be repaired extensively and it would probably be more cost-effective to put in a new toilet. This didn't seem unreasonable (the toilet is probably about 20 years old.) Unfortunately the price he quoted for replacing the toilet and repairing it were far beyond my budget. Since it is only a powder room bathroom and I have 2 other functioning toilets - I am going to wait, get other estimates and decide what I want to do after I gather that information. If their price is competitive, I would be glad to let them do the work sometime in the future.

Although Carney was slightly higher in price than the other estimates we had received, we were very impressed with Joe's knowledge and recommendations for our home, so we decided to go with Carney Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. We are glad we paid the slightly higher price. Their install people did a great job and were prompt, professional and very courteous and respectful. They cleaned up everything when they finished and went over the whole system before they left. We can't say enough good things about all the people we have dealt with from Carney's. If there are any issues or problems, they have a tech out right away and are always pleasant on the phone. We think they really do care about their customers. That's something that's almost rare anymore. We would most definitely deal with Carney again.... and again. Thank you, everyone at Carney's.

Our toilet wasn't working. We called Carney's for an appointment. They were very courteous on the phone and we were able to make an appointment for the next day. Bill arrived at the scheduled time. He evaluated the situation, gave us several options to pick from and we ended up getting a new toilet because that was the best option. Since the warehouse was closed for the day, he returned the next day and installed the new toilet. Bill was very knowledgeable, pleasant to work with and we will definitely call Carney's again.

I would not call this companyin the future.

Wanted them to provide an estimate, but they charge a $50 "trip charge" to do so which is unfortunate.

we have used carney in the past and they are always prompt and professional. estimates are easy to schedule as is the work itself. Bill and his helper arrived on time and worked quikly and cleanly. bill and his fellow workers all seem to have good attitudes and are patient with any questions i have. they completely explain the work in detail. the job was done very well.

I called and they promptly returned my call. The service was scheduled several days later on the date that I requested. The plumber came on time and was very professional. He repaired my toilet within the hour. I was very satisfied and would use this service again.

.I have been using this plumber for years and this last experience where they would not stand behind thier work was the last try.
