I ordered one cord of firewood that was delivered on November 26. 2011.  The wood was delivered as scheduled, however I had questions/concerns about the quality of the wood as well as the quality.  I believed that the delivery was less than a cord of wood. I stacked what measured to be approximately a 1/2 cord of wood.  The remaining pile of wood consisted of debris/compost, as well as pieces that were scraps or not the quoted sizes.  The debris/compost that was mixed in with the wood filled 1 and 1/2, 45 gallon trashcans.  In addition, there were many pieces that fell way short of the claim (per 2 phone calls prior to placing the order) of measuring 17-20 inches long.  Even if I were to have stacked the odd pieces and small pieces, I do not believe that they would have equaled another 1/2 cord of wood.  I do know that allowances have to be made for a certain amount of debris and odd shaped pieces to be included in a delivery, however the amount I received was not acceptable.  I placed 6 phone calls to this company and asked for the manager/owner to call me back each time so that I could discuss these concerns with him.  I spoke to someone directly in his office on 4 of my phone calls.  On my last 2 calls I said that I would like to resolve this issue with the manager/owner, but if I did not hear back from him I would take the matter to the Better Business Bureau.  I never received a phone call back from anyone to discuss my concerns.

I am not sure where I got the company from, but I think it was online. I didn't like anything about them. The firewood wasn't burning or anything. I called them and they said they would call me back. They never did. I called them 4 more times and they never called me back. They never picked up their phone. It was frustrating. The wood never burned. Their punctuality was good.
