Their pricing is very high. But I need not call them back because they do the work correctly. The work is always perfectly done. They are very punctual and give you the price upfront before they do anything. They tell you everything that they are going to do and the work is done well.

The leak had been going on for days and my husband could not find the source.  B Franklin plumber was able to locate and fix it in a short amount of time.  The work was performed very well and in a timely manner

Two other plumbers could not clear this line, but Benjamin Franklin did it.  It was an old house with only a 1.5 inch sewer line in a slab foundation with no crawl space or basement.  If they could not clear it, we would have been forced to jackhammer the floor to who knows where, along the way possibly relocating major appliances and fixtures.  The price was on the high side but well worth it considering the alternative!

I can't speak to their prices, as I don't usually go shopping when I have a plumbing problem.  Its usually an emergency and I just want it fixed.  If they were way more expensive than everyone else, I figure they wouldn't be around.  Other than that they are totally professional, show up on time and do quality work.  No high pressure for additional services.  Plumbers are courteous and professional.  They take care to keep your house clean.  They are typically my first call when i have a plumbing emergency or it is something I can't handle myself.

Used their services twice for two separate issues within two weeks. Same plumber, John came out to the house for both. John was extremely professional and very competent. Both issues were fixed in a very timely manner. I would definitely use Ben Franklin again and will ask specifically for John.

I had to replace an old kitchen faucet with a new one that I bought. I've replaced faucets before, but this time I had trouble removing the old one. After struggling for an hour, I went on Angie's List to find a plumber. I decided, after reading the reviews, to call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to come to the rescue. They gave me a window between 1-4 that same day, and arrived around 3:30pm. They called ahead and said George was on the way. He was courteous and prompt . He went straight to work after giving me an estimate and explaining the features of a service contract. He completed the job after about 45 minutes and cleaned up completely. Although the total cost of $355 to replace a faucet seems to be a bit pricey to me, I was, overall, quite satisfied with the work done.

They did the job right. They were here quick and prompt. I had them do other work in my house previous to that and they're always good.

We called in the morning and they were at the house within an hour. George T. was professional and got right to work. He respected our home when coming in and out, explained what he was going to do and did it in a timely manner. He was in and out in about two hours. We were very pleased. Pricing seemed reasonable too.

I found the Hot Water heater leaking, I knew I needed a new one, call Benjamin Franklin asked if I could get same day appointment

they said yes and about 50 minuress later they were at my door

They were great. Not sure if I would ever use another plumber.

His prior call went beyond time estimated so he arrived about 1/2 hr. later than anticipated. Sean was neatly attired and completed the job rapidly and efficiently. He suggested we join the Ben Franklin Society to save money in the long run.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was very pleasant and did he a good job. He ended up taking longer to finish the job but he fixed it right the first time. I definitely will give him an "A" on everything.

It seems to be OK. Everything looks very well done with the install but we won't really know until the power cuts off again in the middle of another hurricane. Slight problem with the billing afterward but I do believe it was an honest error and it was corrected in a reasonable amount of time. I am the one who found the error though. There's no way to know if it would have gone unnoticed and never corrected at all. It would have cost me a substantial amount that being the case. Hopefully the office manager was alarmed enough to think up a way to make sure that never happens again.
Lesson learned long ago...always check check and triple check your banking statements.
Having said all that I should reiterate I would definately do business again with this company. I believe they are very good at plumbing and friendly as can be. Anyone can make a mistake.

Later than expected and the price was reasonable. They arrived by 4.50 pm and finished by 6.10 pm.

After hearing gurgling in the piping whenever I turned on the water in the bathroom or the kitchen or flushed the toilet. On 09/27/11 after taking a shower, I saw the water drain from the tub slowly and start to bubble up out of the bathroom sink. Flushing the toilet made the water plop up and out of the bathroom sink. I went to the basement and saw lots of water on the floor underneath the bathroom piping.

I had used Benjamin Franklin Pluming before and was thrilled with their work. I gave them a call for this issue and Colleen (who answered the phone) could not have been nicer. I called them around 9:30 and she dispatched Joey right away. Joey arrived about 30 minutes later, which was awesome.

Turns out the previous owner did lots of self repairs but apparently didn't have the skills. The piping was installed incorrectly which did not give adequate pressure to flush the pipes.

Joey worked very hard and resolved the problem in about 2 hours. He replaced some piping and now there are no more problems. I will always call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for all of my plumbing repairs.

They are really close to me, only a couple of miles away. They came out very promptly. They waived their service fee which was awesome. They did the work and they gave me a discount. The actual operational price was $225 or $250 there. They did a great job. They were very clean and professional. They put parts down and took care of everything. He did such a great job that my home didn't have any extra water supply for my garden hose. They did such an excellent job of repairing my shower that I just paid them to go ahead and do my outside job. I was pretty experienced with them as well. The pricing is awesome. I would use their services again in the future.

I was having a refrigerator installed the next day and the night before, in preparation fo delivery of the new refrigerator, I could not get the old saddle valve to shutoff, in addition my refrigerator was very old and had a fitting that would not fit the new refrigerator. Tim from Ben Franklin came out at 7 in the evening (within an hour of my call) and he was very professional. He installed a new shutoff and gave me the fitting for the new refrigerator. Although I thought the price was a little high, my experience was positive and I would use Ben Franklin again. What stood out to me was, 1) they were very courteous on the phone, 2) very quick to respond, 3) very professional, and 4) appeared very well equipped with a well stocked truck to handle pretty much everything. . Will use them again.
