Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
Do not use this company. They said they would come out and give an estimate on a minor roof repair, and they never showed up, and never called. When I called their office repeatedly, I was told that they did not know where the workers were or why they did not show up. I took off work to be home for them. Very unprofessional, and they made a stressful situation worse.

I see that Bitner Brothers Construction is advertising on ABC. I called the station to let them know that this is NOT a reputable company. They do very shoddy work, and if you take him to court and win he does not pay up. I also spoke with an attorney, and he said I am very familiar with this company and their bad business reputation Please do not hire this company. They put the porch on 2019 which took them 5 months to put a 5x14 porch and I had to have it replaced already because the foundation was splitting in the middle. When another company came to replace the foundation it pretty much fell apart.

The contractors that did the work were great! The communication with Bitner was difficult throughout the entire process. If the sub contractors had not been so accommodating, professional, and done such a great job the rating would be much lower. Overall, we are pleased with our kitchen remodel!

Good work. They are quick to solve any problems. Make sure the lead contractor writes choices and requests down. They seem to forget and needed reminding of these details BUT the job was great and we are pleased.

I found Bitner Brothers on Angi List where they were recommended. I needed a zero entry shower remodel for my disabled mother. To make things more difficult I live in Boston and my mother is in Hummelstown PA. I got a call from Kim S. (estimator and designer) almost immediately. She was wonderful, I explained my situation and she said no problem. She went to the house, met with my mother and her aid, brought samples etc. She also sent me texts with all the samples, design and the quote. Not only was she there in the beginning but kept me in the loop when the supplies were ordered, when they arrived, during installation and once the project was done. Any question that came up I immediately got a message. Mark was the project manager and did the install for us. My mother and grandmother who live in the house thought everyone was great. The entire team was so kind and patient with them. We renovated the entire bathroom and it came out amazing, very high end, beautiful and functional for her wheelchair. Because it was a unique shower with zero entry but with a slab basement there was a little hiccup with the floor and they immediately came out, determined the issue and fixed it! Now this sounds like it's made up but it's not. After the job was complete Mark came out one last time to make sure my mother was happy and everything was perfect. I then got a text from Kim that they were taking my mothers vacuum to get repaired. My mother apparently ran over the cord with her wheelchair while they were there and broke it. He said he would take it for her and get it fixed and bring it back because there was a vacuum repair next to his office. You don't get service like this anymore. I couldn't be happier especially not being on-site how it turned out. Most importantly my mother is happy and it was done on time!

This was a great experience. I hired them the end of November, they started the 2nd of December and we’re done before Christmas which is what I wanted. Had a slight issue on a Friday night and Charlie called in the troops from, HBG, CARLISLE & NEWPORT to help with the issue (after 6pm) and they all showed to help out and it was truly not a major issue but I didn’t know cause I’m not versed in construction. I have posted before & after pics on FACEBOOK due to my extreme happiness. They did an AWESOME JOB. Thanx Charlie, Elka & the rest of the BITNER CREW. Todd Grier.

Only a minor complaint. When roofing materials for the project were dropped off ahead of time, 6 drywall screws were left on the driveway asphalt. These were different than any in my shop. Had to have fallen from van at time of delivery. I discovered and cleaned up so no harm done but was careless.

Finishing half of my basement into 3 rooms. They framed and drywalled with obvious uneven walls at the stairway. They told me hide with trim, but the gap goes from 0 to 1.5 inches. Also, I told them to make make a 2 feet closet but they measured the outside, so it is super tiny now. They were cheap and re-used existing boards that were not installed correctly which gave an uneven wall. Only 1 guy knew how to do it correctly, other than the manager.

"Janelle, we are sorry you are unhappy with your experience with us. When we came for the initial consultation, you explained you had a very minimal budget. You advised us to reuse materials from the existing room as much as possible to save on costs. As for the drywall, our wall was plumb and the stairs were preexisting and came at an angle which caused the 1.5 difference. The only way to fix that issue would be to tear down the stairway and rebuild them which was not part of the contract. Please call our office if you continue to have concerns as we are willing to work out any issues."
