Service Tech did a great job explaining what he was doing and made some very useful recommendations on some existing plumbing items. Like insulating some exposed pipes in the garage and how to identity/test for a possible leaking drain pain in our master bath. He was also able to easily fix a annoying flushing problem with one of our toilets, it was just a simple adjustment of the chain. All in all it was well worth the cost.

Great service! Technician explained everything as he was doing his work. He was very nice and helpful. He took care of some minor repairs while he was here. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Although they were having issues with their phones, Gretchen contacted me through text and we were able to arranage an appt. and she accomodated my timing request with less than 24 hrs. notice. The technician was right on time and was extremely friendly and helpful. I'm so glad to have found MGT for future heating and air conditioning needs. Overall, the price was very fair and the fact that I was able to get service without being charged an arm and a leg is excellent. I've already recommended them to my neighbors. Thanks very much!

It was truly a pleasure to deal with both Gretchen and Tim. Initially, Tim came out to replace my central ac unit which was old. He checked the heater for me as well and noticed significant erosion which could lead to escape of carbon monoxide, so we replaced the heating unit too. They performed the work as promised, for the price as quoted, in the time scheduled. I appreciated their professionalism, their honest pricing and eagerness to make sure that I was satisfied with the job. They are my "heating and ac people" now ( I have three more units that need to be replaced!) and I have recommended them to my friends who were also very happy with their service. Thanks guys... keep up the good work!

Furnace was not providing heat, just cold air from the fan. Called MGT Service and Tim came out that night and stayed until he diagnosed the problem. No one else was able to diagnose the problem and both said I needed a new furnace which was not the case.. Tim came back the next day with a new circuit board and again stayed until he was sure everything was working the way it should be. I had an additional question for him and he returned my call promptly and was able to walk me thru a minor adjustment. I can't say enough about him because I think I'd run out of space. If you want an honest professional .. MGT Service is the one to call!!! He was the third person to come out and I am so happy I found him. Tim is awesome and II will most definitely use him again.

Once they finally came out the work they did was great and they got everything I wanted done. They did have to reschedule the appointment three times. I understand plumbing emergencies happen but three times seemed like a lot. As plumbing is not there primary business I am not sure I would use them again for plumbing needs.

They were very good. They arrived on time and completed the project within the two hours that I had purchased in the deal. They, also, worked on a leaky faucet in a downstairs bathroom. That faucet needed new stems which they tried to obtain from a local hardware store, but they were not available. I did not know the brand of the faucet, so they promised to do some research and get back to me. I did receive an email from MGT saying the faucets had been identified and the parts had been found. I just need to schedule the installation.

Everything was great. They were very courteous. They did a good job. I was very happy with the service.

We have been reaching out to SP through Angie's List message center trying to schedule an appointment giving the service provider 4 dates we were available. The service provider responded back to us 4 days later, requesting appointment that day, but because we had not heard back from him, our schedule did not work. We sent another message for anther date, and again did not hear back from the provider for couple of days, when the repsonse was giving the service provider stated his phone service was down and he could not make calls at this time, but stated could come to our home today between 1-3 p.m. He has not shown up for the service and we decided to end this deal with this provider.

The hot water heater and the price were all very good. The amount of time it took for them to actually come out was not good. It's a really small company but I wouldn't use them if I get a good deal.

It was good. They did what they needed to do. I have a contract with another company.

They were fine. They just weren't very qualified. They did okay. They're nice people. Scheduling is a bit of a problem. We had issues that they misdiagnosed.

It turned out very good. I've used them a number of times. They do very good work. He was very thorough. He spent a lot of time explaining to me. He was good. I would recommend them.

Tim came out on 12/8 to determine the source of a leak in our hall bath upstairs. He determined the problem was a dry-rotted seal in the bathtub overflow so that when the water level in the tub reached the overflow, water was going through the bad seal into the wall and down to the main floor. He said that he would need to order the part and would get back to us. He came out on 1/5 and installed the seal. Problem solved. The low rating for Responsiveness was given because we had not been contacted for the return visit to install the seal. It required a couple of phone calls and voice messages on our part to get them to obtain the part and come out to install it. All other aspects of MGT's performance are top-notch (as we expected, since we had used them last summer to do an A/C tuneup). Once they fix the Responsiveness issue, they'll be A-OK.

I contracted MGT to undertake a "new" installation of an electric water heater in my daughter's house, replacing the summer-winter hot water system, oil fired, that was part of the existing h/w baseboard heat. As was true in my previous experience with MGT, I found Tim and Gretchen to be cordial and very helpful from initial contact through the installation. Even when the work took longer than anticipated, Tim's patience, good humor, and excellent workmanship remained intact, and my daughter and her family received a useful Christmas present before Christmas Eve.

They worked quickly and efficiently. The only (minor) problem we encountered was that they came 1.5 hours past their service window. They made sure they had all parts working appropriately and explained how to use all the mechanisms of our new sink and faucet system.

They were great! Professional and courteous and right price!

MGT arrived on time, and completed the work thoroughly. All good.

An appointment was scheduled for the home visit to provide an estimate for a new central air system. I received an email the day before asking us to move the appointment which we accommodated the request. The day before the re-scheduled appointment I received a confirmation email but saying they had to push back the arrival time about an hour. An hour and a half (approx) I received yet another email asking us to push the appointment back yet another hour or so. Then we waited and waited. No call, no show. We had other appointments that evening and couldn't wait at the house any longer and had to leave. Although it's only a day later at the time of posting this review, I still have yet to receive an apology or even an attempt to re-schedule for the 3rd time. It seems this company has a difficult time managing their time. It is good we learned that up front before hiring them.

Tim was very helpful in performimg the work he was contracted for. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.
