Description of Work: The plumber removed an in line filter that clogged frequently and replaced that section with new pipe, he replaced an outside faucet, he put in a kitchen drain piece with strainer basket, and he fixed a dripping plastic pipe section under the kitchen. We reviewed what he going to do and then did a quick job of it. The outside faucet was defective after he put it in, and he took the faucet with him, and replaced it with a new one, the defective faucet was the fault of the plumbing store, not his. So things are working well and I am pleased with the quality of the work and the cost.

Description of Work: I would like to have my money refunded or at least an Angie's List credit. Back in February, I bought their $99 for 2 hours plumbing labor deal, as I needed them to check a possible leak under my Mom's manufactured home. They said this deal did not cover it, and they did not do the service. Then, a few weeks ago, I called twice, and emailed once simply to have a new kitchen faucet installed. HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM AT ALL!! The promo amount ends June 19. I just want my money back and will arrange with someone else. Thank you.

We have been experiencing serious health issues causing sudden hospitalizations and loss of our office staff. It has been a situation that is beyond our control and has escalated very quickly. Despite being unforeseen and uncontrollable, these issues should never affect our customers and the service we are to provide. Your deal will be honored beyond the date of expiration date. Your original service request was for frozen pipes and this is not an issue that the Deal would cover unless there was a leak or other issue caused by the pipes being frozen. There is nothing for us to do about frozen pipes.

Description of Work: They did a check on the air conditioner. The man showed me photos of mold on the unit. He said he would get back to me with an estimate on either cleaning the mold or the cost of replacing the unit. I waited but never received an estimate.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal (4/29) because of a leak in the master bedroom toilet that made it unusable. The provider replied to my first request on 5/4 (not within the three day window) and offered a repair date of 5/18, nearly 3 weeks from the date of my request. When I followed up with a call they said they would try if any openings came up but their schedule was full. I called your offices to understand my options and was told I could get a refund for the deal if I decided to get the repair with a different provider. MGT called to offer me an updated repair date but it was still another week out. I scheduled a repair with Grade A Plumbing and everything was completed the following day. I cancelled the appointment with MGT through the message center and explained why--they replied that I was not being truthful. I had been polite, honest and straight forward with these folks through the process. MGT could not meet their commitments in a timely way-- that's the truth.

Description of Work: A/C checkup for summer. My first appointment had to be rescheduled because the technician had gotten into a car accident. Then, on the date of the new appointment, a utility pole fell in the area near my house, rerouting traffic and making it impossible for the technician to get there (I couldn't even get home until more than an hour after the scheduled appointment). The company was great about rescheduling and even working with me to get me in for an evening appointment.

Description of Work: All company contact via email. We ordered service for our secondary home out of the area. I told them I understood if they couldn't honor the order b/c of location. We do not have central air/heating at our primary. They took two weeks to respond, then notified via email that a serviceman would be out on 5/8 (we requested 5/5, 5/6 or 5/7). I requested phone confirmation for 5/8. No one responded. On 5/8 I called company to cancel (just in case they would be coming), as we were not at the secondary location due to a family emergency. ***Never once spoke to a person, until the answering service picked up the cancel for 5/8. Service could not confirm they were scheduled to come out 5/8, regardless; and no one responded by phone regarding cancellation from MGT.

Description of Work: I ordered the big deal $49 for a 20-Point Air-Conditioning Tune-Up on 4/18. I provided 3 different dates I was available for service. I got an email from the company on 4/21 saying that they would contact me with the scheduling dates. However, I did not hear back from them for 3 days, so I emailed them asking for the decision on the date. They got back to me and said they could provide service on 5/8. However, on 5/7, they sent me an email saying that due to an emergency, they would not be available on 5/8. They gave me 3 choices, Monday 5/11/15 3-5pm, Tuesday 11-1pm and Wednesday 3-5pm. I emailed them back on 5/7 evening with the choice on Monday, 5/11/15 3-5pm. I did not hear back from them whether they could make it on Monday, 5/11/15 3-5pm or not. I assumed they could make it so I went home early from work on Monday, 5/11/15, and waited for them. No one showed up. I called their phone number and was asked for my phone and would have someone call me back. I have never heard back from them. So, I decided to cancel the order and requested a refund while the 30-day refund guarantee is still in place. What's a disappointment, considering they have a lot of positive review on here.

Description of Work: Replace kitchen drain pipe - excellent | |Replace 1st Bathroom toilet innards - excellent | |Replace 2nd Bathroom toilet innards - fair. Took a couple of attempts partially due to mis-diagnosis of the health of one part. Moved tank to do some work and slightly marred the toilet seat lid. It took some additional adjustments on my part after the job to have the flush valve and chain to work 100% of the time. | |Working through their office to get them rescheduled for the problem toilet wasn't very satisfactory. | |Qualified yes to using them in the future. Description of Work: Replaced kitchen faucet, outside water faucet with inside cutoff, unstuck toilet turn off valve and installed new supply line. When I mentioned having trouble figuring out installation of new shower door, he said he could do it for me. Found it was missing a piece, so he stopped. by Home |Depot for the part along the way to the plumbing store for his needed part for the outdoor faucet repair.Took much longer than the 2 hour Angiesspecial but it was worth the extra cost! He had installed my central air a couple years ago, so I knew he was good and reasonable. I highly recommend him.
