Description of Work: I had the worst experience and will NOT use Angie's list again because of that experience

Description of Work: Bought deal for hour of plumbing service. Representative helped with both small issues with toilets (cleaned off parts and recommended what to buy to do the easy job ourselves rather than paying plumber prices which I appreciated). Also had to time check out our hot water heater and give me an honest opinion of the life left on it and estimates to replace.

Description of Work: They reworked my Jacuzzi tub drain plumbing which was very hard to get to and fixed it to be the way it should have been done in the first place (different plumber years ago). Also replaced an outdoor faucet. Only complaint was a series of "emergencies" which kept him from making his appointments. My work was non-time-critical, so it didn't matter much, but was annoying.

Description of Work: The vendor called and said that there was a problem with the staff being short due to illness. They never followed up. I contacted a vendor outside Angie's list to complete (air conditioning maintenance). I lost the funds. My first experience with Angies' List.

Description of Work: Checked out A/C unit. A couple of problems were pointed out. Technician answered every question I came up with in a friendly, informed manner.

Description of Work: Replaced outside faucet. Everything went well once they arrived. We had a little bit of difficulty making the connection.

Description of Work: Tim, the owner, made the house call, and he removed an old kitchen faucet and installed a new one which I had supplied. He was neat and efficient and finished the job completely before the one hour time period that I had been allotted in the Angie's List deal. He then asked if there was anything else that he could do with the remaining time. I would recommend him and use him again.

Description of Work: I first used him for $99 plumbing special. Experienced some difficulty in obtaining response from company but once I dealt with principal directly, everything went smoothly. Installed new kitchen faucet quickly and adequately. I hired company to install new furnace, A/C, and hot water heater. Quoted price 33% better than competition. Evaluated each of my old units and explained/demonstrated why he recommended replacement. Install was completed in two days (supplier shipped two units to wrong city). Everything works fine. Neglected to clean up work area but otherwise, pleased with end result.

Description of Work: Replaced two bathroom drains, changed bathroom short handle, tried to fix leaking kitchen faucet (not successful - kohler is sending a replacement)
