MGT Service arrived on time and performed the service as per the contract. I will use them again in the future.

Over all visits went well, he used booties, gave me a full inspection, talked to me about a new heater, gave me my options, and performed a thorough inspection, just excellent!

Our experience went well. There was one gentleman, and he was very nice. He did everything he was supposed to.

Gretchen, as usual, was courteous and professional in setting up our appointment. Tim was timely and performed the work quickly and correctly. We just moved into the neighborhood this fall, and we called MGT for our first need in our new home. We have used them for everything since (hooking things up, repairing our boiler, running new lines, correcting incorrectly installed items that were in the house). They are wonderful people, a true family run business, and we feel good about giving them our money and our recommendations.

.Originally used this contractor for flushing hot water tank and inspection of all plumbing as part of a daily deal. He flushed the heater and then inspected all plumbing, making some minor repairs/adjustments as he went along. At the time, he pointed out that current water heater was rusting and showing some signs of possible leaks. He then offered what seems like a reasonable price and a couple of weeks later, I decided to have the work done. He did a professional job including a new shutoff valve.

We'd had trouble having enough hot water, and I'd heard that sometimes the hot water heater needs to be flushed. Soon after, the deal came up so I bought it. The company called immediately to schedule the visit, and came out 2 days later (no emergency, and that was the best day for me). He quickly found that one of the 2 heating systems on the hot water heater was not working at all, and gave us the option of replacing that or the whole water heater (he priced out both). Since it was a relatively old hot water heater, we opted to replace it. He installed it the following day. But on the initial day, he proceeded to check each and every sink and toilet, very thoroughly, and found that all was in good shape. He even went above and beyond by checking into our sump pumps. They are very service-oriented and friendly. Everything was very professionally done, and they left everything probably cleaner than it had been.

The installation went flawlessly after some mix up with the date. It was all resolved and they came exactly on time, finished the installation, cleaned up and were done within an hour and a half. Good clean work would gladly use them in the future.

Having taken advantage of MGT Service's Angie's List Big Deal for a whole house humidifier installation, I was impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism of this provider and knew that I would contact them for future work. My house needed a replacement water filtration system, so I discussed the situation with Tim. We planned to remove the existing filter and reconfigure the plumbing to make the unit more sturdy (by anchoring it to the wall) and more accessible. The utility area where the installation is located is very cramped and difficult to work in. Nevertheless, Tim completed the installation quickly, neatly, and effectively. He always takes the time to explain exactly what he has done and how to operate/service what he has installed. I highly recommend MGT Service for plumbing as well as HVAC needs. Gretchen is a pleasure to deal with in the office and works to schedule convenient appointments. Tim is prompt, adept, and communicative. The prices are fair, and the work is good. What more could you ask?

MGT is just great! Gretchen made it easy to schedule an appointment, and Tim was timely and professional. The price was great. The problem was fixed and we enjoyed hot showers again! We have used MGT for some plumbing add-ons (a waterline for our ice maker in fridge and installing necessary pipes for a hose spigot on house exterior), and we loved MGT. They are personable, reliable, and prompt. We have an appointment scheduled to have our boiler's check value replaced next... We just bought the house, and its thousand year old boiler! We intend to convert the whole system, starting with installing an electric hot water heater and eventually converting from oil, too. We will definitely be using MGT for all our work!

I had a TERRIFIC experience with this company! I purchased a Big Deal for a whole house humidifier, but when he got here he saw that the previous owners had already installed one years ago. He said he would refund our money on the voucher, but offered to inspect our furnace (we moved in last year and it had not been done in over a year). He was very knowledgeable, explained every detail of his findings to me, and also the cost of cleaning and tuning up the furnace. In the process, we discovered that the old humidifier was not working right and was never installed properly! Which explained why we didn't at all feel the house was humidified before! He laid out our options for using the voucher, installing a new (better) unit, he removed and patched up the mess of the old installation, and tuned up our old furnace. He was honest, efficient, and very polite. He even worked around me having to take my sick kid to the doctor in the middle of our appointment time (he left, went to another job, and came back and waited on us)! I am very pleased with this experience and we plan to use them for our regular AC and Heating needs.

Overall I give this company a high rating. They showed up on time and did a very good job. Neat and clean. They offered a lot of advise and explained some things to me that I thought was weird about the duct work in my house. They really seem like the kind of company you can count on.... With that being said....... I wish I would have researched whole house humidifiers a little before I purchased this package. While the system that was installed works (a little) and is exactly what was advertised, it was not able to povide the level of humidity I was looking for.... THIS WAS NOT THE FAULT OF MGT SERVICE.... I should have done the research to see if this type of system would work for me... I plan on using this company again in the future.... UPDATE>>>>> I am sorry that I have not posted this earlier. I have had MGT back to review the system they installed (they actually found a problem that I was not aware of and corrected it). I also used them for some work at another location (Work was completed quickly and at a great price). I will be calling MGT back to do my AC service shortly. I have also upgraded my review to an "A" because I believe I made an error on the first review. I will not hesitate to call MGT in the future.

This was the first time I ever responded to an Angie's "coupon" special price deal. I needed a replacement whole home humidifier, and an outfit called MGT Service in Lansdale, PA was running the special deal. The tech came out exactly on time for the inspection appointment, and agreed the model 500 they were advertising would be more than adequate for the job. The installation was scheduled for next week, and the same tech, a true professional and gentleman named Tim, did the job. The job took no longer than 3 hours to complete. Which was extraordinary, because Tim had to diagnose a problem that turned out to be a bad control unit, which was defective right out of the box. He returned to the supply house, replaced the defective control unit, and everything was tested. The unit worked perfectly. Tim cleaned the work area up and made sure I understood how to operate the unit, and answered any questions I had. He gave me his cell phone number in case I had any questions or in the unlikely event any problems developed. The entire MGT Service crew I dealt with were extremely professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant. The price I paid for the Aprilaire quality humidifier and extremely professional installation was money well spent and a terrific bargain. If any of you reading this do not have a whole house humidifier, it is some of the best home improvement money you can spend. It makes the entire home much more comfortable in the harsh winter months,and eliminates the static electricity that can build up in dry, hot air. It is also a great tonic and recommended by allergists and other medical professionals, particularly when it is combined with an electronic furnace mounted air cleaner. It can significantly reduce the symptoms of people who have allergies, and are particularly helpful for those unfortunate enough to be asthmatic. You can't go wrong with an Aprilaire humidifier installed by a quality oriented company such as MGT Service.

Almost as soon as I took advantage of an Angie's List Big Deal for an April Aire 500 whole-house humidifier, I was contacted by MGT Service to arrange installation. I cannot imagine how the service from this provider could go any better--everything was first rate! Gretchen in the office was courteous and professional when we arranged an appointment and when she called to say that someone was on the way. Tim was informative and helpful, explaining how he would do the installation and exactly how to service and maintain the unit once installed. Because an old unit was removed and a water line was already in place, the installation only took about 90 minutes. Everything seems to be working fine. I am delighted with this provider, and I have already recommended him to friends. In addition, MGT will be my first call for a couple of household projects I have in mind.
