JD Paving

We had JD (or perhaps J&D, phone 866-JD1-PAVE) Paving of Lansdale do our driveway in mid April 2011 and are extremely dissatisfied.  I spent at least 45 min prior to their doing the work discussing their plan of action and what our expectations were, only to find that few or none of these were done.  As others have attested, the company never returns phone calls and the address listed on their, apparently useless, warranty does not even exist.  The business numbers are, according to the phone company operator, just cell phones.  I was able to speak with the person who oversaw the work and told him of the multiple problems (grass/weeds growing through the asphalt, cracking, uneven surfaces, water pooling, and raveling- the name given to the phenomenon of areas where the gravel separates from the driveway just by rubbing your foot across it). He did agree to stop by but didn't show up on the day he promised.  We contacted him again and he did stop by and without hesitation agreed that the work done was bad, but blamed it on the quality of the asphalt.  With subsequent phone calls it has become more and more apparent that there will be little chance for any resolution to this problem.  I have offered to discuss the issues with his boss but he refuses to give me his contact information. Steer clear of this company.
