Great! I left a voicemail on Tuesday morning and Brian Mason called back within 30 minutes. He came out that morning and left me a quote. I called back that afternoon and asked him to do the job. He told me he and his crew would come out the next morning at 730am. Good to his word, he and his crew of 3 were there at 730 am and started work immediately. They worked to 11 am. During that time they chopped off the branches, put them in a wood chipper, removed the stump, and did an excellent job of removing the debris. They even contacted my neighbor and removed branches and debris that had fallen over the neighbor's fence and into his backyard. They also removed a branch that was overhead on a telephone cable. When it came to pay, Brian honored the 10% off coupon I cut out of the February monthly Angie's List magazine. The only downside was that his company doesn't accept credit cards, but he accepted my check with no problem. I also discussed some projects on my property I was considering and plan to contact his company to do the work this spring. Everything went perfect. Talking to Brain on the phone was excellent. The work that he and his crew did on removing my willow tree was great. They ground the stump and roots. The chainsaws started at 7:15 am which was a little terrifying but I'm still happy with everything.

Brian and his crew did an excellent job at a fair price. They pruned/elevated eight large trees and removed a tree that was not included in the original estimate at a very reasonable incremental cost. Two other bids we received were nearly twice as much, and that didn't include the additional tree removal. Their cleanup was meticulous. We had used Tall Pine before years ago and they came through for us again. Brian knows how to supervise and motivate his crew to satisfy the customer.

Brian was very prompt in contacting us and setting up a time the service was to be preformed. The crew was very professional and did a great job clearing out the dead areas of the trees. They also cleaned up so well that no one would have notice they were here. Everything went very smoothly. We were happy with the work that was done.

Gave me a date and time, and showed up exactly on time.  Finished in about 7 hours and did a fantastic job.  My trees look great, they did exactly as I asked, and cleaned up beautifully.  Plus, Brian gave me the best price by far of the 3 companies I contacted.

I have used Tall Pines before for tree service and they do an excellent job, We have several large trees and they come every other year to clean out dead branches and prune our huge holly tree.  Brian always comes ahead of time to find out exactly what I want done and listens to any of my ideas or concerns.  He has a good team of men working for him. They clean up all debree and protect the lawn from the tire treads.  I  have always felt that his prices are very reasonable.  The tree work I had done this year was taking out several dead  large limbs from the top of our very old oak tree.  They needed a bucket truck to do it. The charge was $950 which I thought was very reasonable.  
This is the first time I have used Tall Pines for my yard work. My old yard work company stood me up this year, hence the late date on getting it done.  Brian came out ahead of time as usual to assess what I needed done. He sent out his team to do the work. They did a very thorough job of  the spring clean up plus some additional chores such as fixing a broken fence, mulching all of my gardens, and removing all debris. His work is always thorough and of good quality. His team is very polite and professional. The price for all of the lawn work was $1450. At first I thought that was a bit high but he did a great job and I will definitely hire him again next year for both my tree and yard work.

I called for an estimate, got it and the owner called me back a few weeks later to see if we were still interested.  I liked the followup.  He came on time with a bunch of guys and got everything done in half of a day.  Very happy with the work!  We'll definitely use them again if we need more trees removed.

Based on the quote of grinding the stump at the time of the Cherry takedown ($350 alone) I was determined to let the stump rot and take it up over the next several years on my own. Tall Pine gave me such a great price I had the stump ground at the same time, obviously.

I was highly impressed with the punctuality and the professionalism of their team. They cleaned up everything they could and left the year presentable!

Exceptional. I had three quotes from Angies List providers, all were very nice, easy to deal with and professional with great reviews. Tall Pine was by far the most reasonable. Day 1 I returned home to find one tree missing, a crane and NO debris of any kind. Day 2 Both trees were gone, stumps ground, ALL chips gone, no yard damage of any kind. Quite amazing really.

Brian and his staff returned all calls in a timely manner and they were very professional and courteous. He provided a quote the day after I first called. His price was the lowest out of all the companines that I called. He came out and cut my trees down the day that he said and I was very impressed with the job that was done. The yard looked great - the grass was not dug up at all, he removed all the debris and pine cones from the trees and even cut down a dead branch from a nearby tree, free of charge. I would certainly use Tall Pine Tree Service again if I need work done in the future.

Due to unusual weather in the Northeast since last fall, we had several trees that needed to have dead branches removed, general thinning of sucker growth, and elevation. I reached out to three Angie's List tree services and learned that most local tree services were significantly backlogged.
In comparison to other providers who were slow in responding (or didn't respond at all), Brian Mason was quite responsive and worked us into their schedule. I arranged to be home while the work was being done and was amazed at how efficiently and thoroughly Brian and his crew of six worked.

• They showed up 45 minutes early.
• They completed their original assignment in 1/2 the time.
• They worked on other trees at no additional costs.
• Their cleanup was exceptional - even blowing off the roof to remove tiny twigs.

In short, they exceeded all expectations I had, and simply put prior tree services I have used to shame. I will unhesitatingly recommend them. They have made me into a customer evangelist for their outstanding work.

Great tree service that was much cheaper than other tree companies we contacted.

Neighbors tree fell into my yard and took out three 20 ft. high cedars and smaller ornamental shrubs, also had them remove 25 ft. high holly tree, 4 large yews, a 20 ft. long hedge of 6 ft. high yews and four 15 to 20 foot tall firs. Got back to me within two days after leaving a message and scheduled work within about 10 days. Removed everything I wanted, no damage to the lawn, removed all stumps and did a great job cleaning up. Their estimate was so reasonable I did not bother to get another estimate.

They seemed to be well coordinated, worked well together and did the job very quickly.

As I said, we have had Brian return several times now, about every 2 years. He comes on time and stays on the job and monitors his work crew. He is able to do large trees as he owns a bucket truck and also owns lawn protectors so that when he brings the truck into the grass it is protected. Before he works, he walks around my yard with me to find out exactly what I want done. He also usually throws in little extras when he sees some minor work that I haven't noticed. He is always professional and the work always looks nice when he is finished. I would highly recommend him.

The service was excellent. The boss, Brian, had his crew even do some minor work which was not on the list. Here is an example of why the low bid is not always the best one(the other guy was only $100 less). There were other trees which were impacted by this tree and they cleaned them up and cut them back as well and even picked up latent branches which were from storm damage and placed them in the chipper.
The people were courteous and professional and I would strongly recommend Tall Pine for any tree work, and ask for Brian.

Best Tree service I have encountered. Brian is very professional and honest. Did great work, was punctual and reasonably priced. I have used Brian's service in the past and he impressed me then. Overall, he has taken down about 23 trees and thinned out my backyard. I felt relieved when this summer's hurricane hit- my trees held up well.
