Tomlinson Bomberger Lawn Landscape Pest Control

They were very good. They were very responsive. We called them for an emergency. We had wasp nesting between our walls, ate through our inner wall, and entered the house. We called them, and they came out within the hour.

They are out here all the time. The price depends on the service performed. It is usually between $50 and $100. They are expensive.

No story.  They show up, do what the need todo, and if we have any questions and requests, they tell us what we need to know.

I have a contract with them. I've been with them for at least 5 years and I don't have any weeds.

We used them first 14 or 15 years ago, and then we used them again last year for the retaining wall and now we use them to make some changes. Our experience with them is good. And they are very responsive, once we agreed on the date, they’re here.

I have used them for 20 years. I have been very happy with them. The owner comes out and talks with me. We go over everything every season. We go over the proposal, and if I do not want to spend that much they give me options. They listen to me.

I like their service and we have no problems with the reoccurring program we are on. 

They solved the problem.  They come out quarterly, they are timely and do a good job.

We liked everything but my husband is very particular and they asked to put in something we hadn’t heard of and it was a good idea to be put in but they didn’t do it properly.  My husband re-did.  There were some things that could have done better.   It got complicated because this all happened before that humongous rain we had last year.  It’s unfair to say that they didn’t do a good job.  Aside from those one or two issues they do really fantastic work when Mother Nature doesn’t mess them around.  The workers were very nice and helpful.  We made several changes and there was no problem and no arguments.  Everything looks good now.

Dealing with carpenter ants is vital to protect the integrity of our home and will continue some level of pest control with Bomberger to protect our investment.

We decided on a full year program because we have had wasps and spiders that were a problem in the past. We had an appointment within a week. The service technician was prompt and courteous. He wore shoe covers to come into the house. He explained thoroughly what he would be doing. When he finished there were no chemical smells. And we have had no more ants!

The work was promptly done.  I was encouraged to call if I saw any problems.  (I haven't seen any problems.)  The reduction in bugs has been wonderful.

person came at set time and date,assessed problem of bedbugs,stated we would need to do alot of packing up of rooms before they could work,answered my questions on some item cleaning.then stated would email or call next day or Monday.We never heard from them again

The contacts with the company were great!  (They even followed up this past week to see how the plants were doing!)  Due to budget constraints, I was only able to work on the front yard.  They removed an overgrown shrub and re-planted.  They provided me with watering details and cleaned the dirt/debris from my walk.

They offer excellent quality service. They are a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Their initial visit was to set traps outside for some pests.  They did a treatment around the foundation and most of the way around the house, especially in the entrance points.  They identified a place where carpenter ants were probably coming in and did a little special extra there.  They then did an inside treatment noticing places where insects might come in.  They concentrated specially in corners, doors and windows.  The contract is for four visits in one year.  They will come back and do another treatment outside and check the traps.  I have had them out a couple of years ago to check on some trees as they did trees too.  I was impressed with that and they offered advice that was very helpful and wasn’t even a part of why I asked them out.  They didn’t charge us.  They are local company and I like dealing with local company.  They are very honest.  The person who came out for the initial visit was very helpful to me as a home owner.  I followed him around and he answered my questions.  He told me what he was doing and didn’t charge m for the advice.  They are not the cheapest.

Everything went well. 

The estimator came within a few days of my call and delivered an estimate when promised. Timing was important as winter was approaching and sod needs some time to root. The sod work was done when promised. The sod was high quality, not like some jobs I've seen with sod that goes down brown or dormant. The ground cover was initially not installed over the entire area we had discussed. I called and when I arrived home that same evening the additional work had been done. It's been a month and the sod seems to have rooted well. I was worried about the ground cover going dormant before it had a chance to root and called to discuss the issue. I was assured that it should be alright and, if not, they would work on it in the Spring. I thought the price was a little high, but I prefer to pay more if the quality is there, which seems to be the case with Tomlinson/Bomberger. I should note that I had asked another landscaper for an estimate. After not hearing from him for a week, I called and got him on vacation out west. The contrast with Tomlinson/Bomberger was telling and drove my decision to use them. I think you may pay a little more with this company, but for me, the quality and service seem worth the extra cost.

They were fairly priced and did an average work.

Company obviously does not understand working in the city--probably only wants easy suburban work where it's easy to get their trucks near the trees. Told me that they couldn't do the work because the tree was near power lines and that it was PPL's responsibility. Told him that PPL takes care of pruning from curb to street, but homeowners have to trim from curb to home. Told me this wasn't the case. So I asked him why city gave out tree trimming permits to individuals for contractors to trim trees. Ignorant of city permits or who was responsible for tree trimming in the city. Do not bother to call if you live in the city (probably applies to Lebanon, Hershey, etc. as well).

While they are expensive, the value is excellent. My lawn is the greenest in the neighborhood and grows twice as fast as my neighbors (which can actually be annoying when I have to mow again while he's just drinking beer). The lawn is beautiful, though, and the kids love it. It's a luxury to have Tomlinson, but one I enjoy.

They are really very good in what they do. They have a good reputation in this area. I have had good experience with them.
