Calder Door is a family owned and opperated local company located in Lancaster Pennsylvania and serving South Central PA. Calder Manufacturing Co. was started in 1987 by George C. Calder. Calder began manufacturing garage doors in the 1930's and started Calder Door Sales in 1952 to accomidate the demand for service and installations of garage doors. Calder Door continues to service South Central Pennsylvania and is owned by George L Calder, the third generation, and opperated by Ben Calder, the forth generation. Calder Door & Specialty Co. is an supplys, services, repairs, and installs residential and commerial garage doors & garage door openers. Calder Door is also a distributer and installer of commercial Hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware, commercial wood doors, toilet particians and washroom accesories, and rolling steel doors grills, and counter shutters. Calder Door is registered with the Pennsylvania Attourney General's Office as a licenced home improvement contractor (Reg #: PA000681), Calder Door is also a certified lead safe renevator through the EPA. Calder Door has a large showroom wihere customers can see full sized doors and working garage door openers. Calder Door also offers free estimates for installed products at the home or businesses of its customers.

1. Two different doors from the ones ordered and paid for.
2. The lites(windows) were from two separate models.
3. The installer still installed them.
4. A garage door opener was ordered for the one door. It was never installed correctly and jeri-rigged into an existing light fixture.
5. The other door never opened correctly ( the one panel must be physically pushed in while raising door).
6. The dispatcher was rude and stated if I wanted the work corrected, there would be an additional charge.
7. Out of desparation I agreed and the 2nd techician was appologitic and did all the re-work. There was no charge.
The bottom line is the initial instalation was botched.
