According to Mr Burkhart, he  figured up a quote, which I got a copy of for $5895.  We then agreed on, & he signed, a price of $5500.00.  I thought to myself, & later found out from SEVERAL businessmen in the area, that  this was STILL a rather high price for the work in my surrounding area, but went ahead with the agreement.  This was September of 2008 & was to be completed by the 'end of October, weather permitting'!!!  All went as planned & he did very well, but NEVER COMPLETED THE WORK!!!  He never poured the pad!  Fortunately, I had only paid $5000, but according to the written quote, the 'pad' was to cost $800.  SO, $5500 minus $800 is $4700...an OVERPAYMENT of $300!  Well, after MANY very understanding phone calls from me, & MULTIPLE EXCUSES from him, from weather to health issues, I finally took him to civil court.  The Judge ruled in my favor & he was to pay me back the $300 plus court costs, which he STILL has not paid!  I filed a lien against his credit & he STILL has TOTALLY ignored me as well as the Court!
