Jeff and his team did and excellent job with the installation of two Daikin HVAC units. I had many questions about the units and install and they were quick and thorough in responding. The price and warranty were competitive with high end brands. The crew was courteous and professional during the two day install. They were the only company that included replacement of the coolant lines, rather than just flushing the old ones. So far the Daikin variable speed AC units are exceptionally quiet and the house is very comfortable. Would recommend Ace Home Services and Unique Comfort without reservation.

We could not be happier with choosing Unique Indoor Comfort for our new HVAC system. We found this company by being referred by a client of my husbands. The original duct work in our house was extremely undersized, over working our unit and not creating good airflow to reach the third floor of our town home. Reni came out to our home, and took the time to explain to me options with Unique to really make our new HVAC unit/system efficient and comfortable temperatures in our house. I really appreciated his kindness and patience with me with all my questions. Unique was able to get us scheduled within a week or finalizing the contract, just in time in end of April when the first heat wave hit. It has been almost two months now since Henry and Matt installed our new HVAC system (they both were friendly and did an excellent job) and we are truly enjoying it. With a new baby in the house, it is a relief to have this new unit and ability to cool down our house quickly and efficiently. I know it is a lot interviewing and getting quotes from different HVAC companies - it is a big investment. This company truly stood out for us and were able to work with our budget and our needs for our home. They were the only company who proposed how we could add an additional vent to allow more airflow, and to redo the duct work to the proper sizing for our house and up to code. We are very grateful and HIGHLY recommend Unique. Thank you Reni, Matt and Henry again!

We were referred to Unique Comfort, and were told "they are not the cheapest, but they are very good". So, when our first floor heater stopped working (no heat), we called them, the guy came our promptly, and after two hours of trying to figure out why our system is blowing cold air, stated that "probably" we need to replace the main control board and the pressure switch. He left, and an hour later came in the email with the estimate, $1500 ($1200 for the parts). WOW!!! We expected a few hundred dollars, but $1.5K was too much. So I decided to check these two parts on Amazon. They together cost under $200, delivered the next day. I thought Unique Comfort made a mistake, charging us $1200 for $200 parts. Called, talked to three people, two of them in management. Was told that as a business of "that size" they need to make "a bit of a margin" on the parts. Well, extra $1000 on $200 parts seems to be price gouging. The best they could do is offer 10% off, adding insult to the injury. So, ordered the parts, checked the youtube how to replace them (1.5 hours). Got EXACTLY the same result, heater working but blowing cold air. Read some more - one of the advises was to check the exhaust pipe for birds nests, etc. Sure enough, that was it. Cleaned it up, all working now. With new parts, ha-ha. So, on top of them price gouging for the parts, which were not even needed, we are now stuck with having also to pay the bill for the original visit of $79, which provided incorrect diagnostics!!!! VERY, VERY BAD!!!!

Overall great experience with Matt, Danny and Dave. I had mini-splits installed. They were very responsive. When I wanted the exterior piping changed and they made the change at no extra cost. They were nice, responsible, and helpful. In fact, they rearranged furniture in one bed room at my request. They vacuumed at the end. Would highly recommend.

DO NOT PURCHASE A SYSTEM FROM UNIQUE INDOOR COMFORT COMPANY! They STOPPED servicing many areas for customers who paid thousands for their equipment! Anyone who bought equipment from them should be able to have them service the equipment! No excuses or exceptions! Do yourselves a favor and don’t use shady companies like this who may stop servicing your area at any time they choose! And dont even let ALL purchasers know that they are stopping! My area in Bucks County was good enough for them to take my thousands of dollars to install the equipment in! Shady for them to change their maintenance servicing area! Im posting this review on EVERY customer service review site! Dont buy from them!

They did an excellent service so far so good were very satisfied to the work and the AC is working beautifully and I recommend this to other.

Heating Repair

The technician Dennis came out to my house on time to access the situation of the circulator pump on my heater. I thought originally that I would need a new pump. But Dennis look at it did what he had to do with it and got the pump working again. The work Dennis had done save me a lot of money. I really appreciate his expertise on the whole situation. Very professional. I would recommend him and the company to anyone. Thanks!

Sales rep measured rooms and windows to perform a load cal'n. Proposed a quality Carrier system at a reasonable price. The installation took a little longer than expected due to use of an inexperienced helper, but eventually it appeared to be a quality installation. They met my requests for minor modifications/enhancements to allow easier maintenance. Workers wore masks at all times, used drop cloths along walking paths and shoe covers, so the job was kept clean. Took time to explain system, installation and maintenance points. Were honest about risk of condensate pipe freeze-up and potential remedies, and "orphaned" water heater. Overall, quite satisfied with the equipment and installation. Awaiting finalization of punch list paperwork items.

We are very happy with the work that was done by Unique installing a new gas boiler and tying it into our 1940’s hot water heating system. The estimator Mike, took time measuring every room to be sure we get just the right size unit needed for our house. (An estimator, from another company, didn’t size all the rooms, wanted to put in a smaller boiler and at a higher cost!). The installation was painless. The work was done in one day which included removal of our old system. The new system is extremely efficient and we already have noticed significant savings on gas and electric. Great company to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Crew members Trong Chau, Tan Pham did an excellent job for the installation - prompt, professional, and thorough. Staff Dante Zappala professionally measured and sized the system. Unique Indoor Comfort staff were very slow in providing warranty papers for the extended warranty of the Rheem Water Heater - it took a month to get the proper sticker to validate the warranty - and made it seem like a problem. We hope that they respect the warranties for the A/C and Furnace through Carrier.

Unique Indoor Comfort’s technician, George, provided a fine tune up service to my residence's heating system which was well overdue for maintenance. He was able to pinpoint the issues I was having obtaining heat and, in the process, providing a more important service. This by detecting a significant potential health risk to the system when operating at capacity with elevated levels of carbon monoxide readings present in the combustion test and the necessity of having a chimney/fireplace sweep and cleaning conducted. The service call was money well spent. Would definitely use this company again for any additional issues

I contacted Unique Indoor Comfort, among others, to obtain a proposal for replacement of my furnace and air conditioning system. Unique took measurements off all the rooms (for sizing calculations), answered all my questions, and provided me with a written proposal with several system options ranging in cost. Some other contractors that had estimated this job had failed to either take measurements or provide a detailed written proposal. Although Unique did not have the cheapest proposal for this work, I felt most comfortable choosing Unique for the job because of their professional approach to the work, their ability to answer my questions, and their well-detailed proposal. The installation took one day. The contractors wore booties and put down cloths to keep my carpet clean when moving equipment. The installation went well, and I was satisfied with the quality of the work. The only issue I had was that the installation team forgot to install an upgraded piece of duct work. This duct piece only affected the efficiency of the system, not the operation, but it was included in the contract and touted by Unique as a benefit of their installation. After I noticed this and contacted Unique, they apologized and sent someone to install the upgrade within a few days. Overall, I am very satisfied with the system and the installation.

Great! Staff friendly, highly competent and professional. Curt and his team are tops. I would never consider another HVAC compancy again. They take the time to do a thorough evaluation of your home to determine your best options. The other companices I had come out forestimates were not nearly as thorough. Unique explains everything and were very patient with me throughout the entire process; from initial evaluation through install, and after. They are flexible with scheduling, and offered a highly competitive price relative to other companies. I have been very impressed with this company!

A Unique combination of incompetence and gouging After my recent encounter with Unique Indoor Comfort, I cannot recommend this audacious and incompetent bunch of crooks to a friend, or even an enemy. Our furnace, which is only 4 years and 2 months old, stopped working. Since Unique had installed it and their phone number was taped to the furnace, we called them. They sent a man out promptly (he said they weren’t busy, and now I know why) for a “diagnosis,” which is apparently not the same thing as an “estimate.” A diagnosis is much more scientific-sounding, and costs $99. This $99 is not deducted from the eventual repair bill; it is in addition to the repair bill. After examining the patient, the doctor…excuse me, the repairman said we had a bad gas valve, and he would have to install a new valve, for the sum of $268. Well, I thought, since this company installed the furnace, they must have the part on their truck…right? Wrong! They had to order the part. After a very chilly night, the repairman returned with the new valve. Okay, I said to myself, we got nicked by these pirates for $370, but at least he’ll fix the furnace, and we’ll know enough to avoid this company in the future. But, as Lee Corso would say, “Not so fast, my friend!” It turned out that the valve wasn’t the problem, or, according to the repairman, not the only problem (we’ll never know which). The furnace still didn’t work, because it needed a new circuit board. Fortunately for all concerned, he had an extra circuit board on his truck, so he was able to fix it right away... Hah, hah! You didn’t believe that did you? No, of course he didn’t have the part. It had to be ordered from the manufacturer, like the valve. But on the positive side, he offered to come back the next day to install it, which I thought was a good idea. That night was probably the coldest one of the year (it was in the 20s), and it got pretty brisk inside the house. I see I forgot to mention the call I received from the Unique office after their man left. We were told that because their employee had failed to test the circuit board (thereby causing us to endure a second heatless night) and had to come back to finish the job…are you ready?... We would be charged an additional $268! In short, Unique had the colossal chutzpah to charge an additional, and outrageous fee for their own blunder. “Unique” is too weak a word for such breathtaking arrogance. “Remarkable” is, or possibly “un-f-----g-believable.” We had no intention of paying for this extra house call, although we did not say anything to our new chums at Unique. But someone there must have suspected that they would encounter “sales resistance.” When the repairman came the next day, he said we had to pay $536 in advance. After we stopped laughing and could speak normally again, we made a counter-offer: we would pay the charge of $268 after the furnace was working, not before. He called the home office to let them know we were not the suckers they had hoped. The Unique sales representative was very disappointed with our unreasonable attitude. After much back-and-forth with my wife, she accepted our offer of paying only one service fee of $268 (in addition to the $99 previously paid) and snidely suggested that perhaps we ought to use a different company in the future (which was exactly what I had already decided on my own! It was almost as if she could read my mind!), because “You don’t seem to be comfortable with our price structure.” We were most definitely not comfortable with their price structure, if “price structure” is equivalent to price gouging, extortion and/or a rip-off. To summarize, I do not recommend you use Unique Indoor Comfort for any purpose, unless you have large amounts of cash you don’t know how to dispose of, and don’t require a working furnace in the winter.

We choose Unique Indoor Comfort as the company to replace our 1960’s era gas boiler with a 83% AFUE Weil McLain, and we’ve been very happy with that decision. Everyone from Unique that we interacted with was professional, personable, and patient. The latter quality being reflected in the willingness of everyone from Unique, from the salesperson to the installation crew, to take time to answer all our questions. After sizing our heating requirements, Unique presented us with several packages, of differing efficiency, that included boilers smaller than the old one, but ones that would meet our heating needs. This was in contrast to other companies that wanted to replace our old boiler with one of similar size, not taking into account that the old one was oversized to begin with. The Unique package we chose included outdoor reset, and air elimination, items that may have increased upfront costs, but ones that will probably offer savings, convenience, and increased comfort in the long run. Some other companies didn’t even mention these options. Thank you to Dante, Taz, Sam, Jameel, Brandon and all the Unique team, for making our boiler replacement project an excellent experience!

The serviceman arrived on time, was polite, efficient, and communicated well. He reviewed my system and made the adjustments I asked for, then cleaned up afterwards.

Good communication, very pleasant, quick service. Don was extremely helpful and easy to work with, even after i picked out the wrong type of replacement water heater and he had to return it! Would use again.

Unique was flexible, accommodating and professional. Their pricing was fair for the work provided, and they were responsive at every level of their organization. Ricky was an amazing technician who was considerate of our home and knowledgeable. He was not only able to complete the repair, but helped us to become more educated consumers regarding our HVAC system in a 100-year old home. Terrance was also exceptionally professional and polite ensuring the work was done safely and quickly. Unique Indoor Comfort offers top quality service and professionalism. They have my full endorsement and will be my HVAC vendor of choice for my new home!

Unique is true to their name. What a great company! I needed a new HVAC system. Curt from sales came to my house and did a very thorough evaluation of my existing HVAC system. He painstakingly took pictures of my system, took several measurements, and both asked and answered a myriad of questions in order to ensure I would have the right system installed. In addition, Curt told me to call or text him with any questions. When I did so, he answered me immediately. He provided me with different options to fit my budget, and made sure I was confident in my ultimate purchasing decision. When it was time for the installation to be performed, installers Bruce and Jeff were tops! They did their own evaluation, and made some observations and suggestions that helped my new system function optimally. I'm sitting in my warm house as I write this, with a great new HVAC system, and a company I can continue to rely on in the future to keep my new system running at it's best. I look forward to the warmer weather for various reasons of course, but I will enjoy having a house that stays cool for a change! Do your homework and get your estimates from other companies. You'll find as did I, that Unique goes above and beyond relative to other companies. They have an old school customer first mentality that is most welcome in an age where it's not always easy to find good companies. Kudos!

I have been using UIC's services for several years now. They have replaced two older furnaces a couple of years ago with new 2-stage Carrier Infinity units. They have performed flawlessly. Last week our third unit, the main furnace, was replaced with the new Carrier Infinity Modulating Air technology as recommended by Paul, our sale representative. Bruce, Jeff & Wes did a fabulous job on removing the old, and installing the new furnace. They were on time, well equipped, professional, thorough and completed the replacement furnace installation by 5:00 PM. A big job indeed. The new furnace is simply amazing. You must stand next to it to hear it running. The house is much more comfortable given the very slow furnace run modes with continual air movement (undetectable). Another great experience with UIC. I *highly* recommend the UIC team and equally as important, the new Carrier products. Thank you UIC!
