They had a good product but they were really expensive. We didn?t use them because of the cost. The man that came out spent a lot of time with us and went through all of the options.

I contacted Renewal by Anderson based on a mailer (that should have been the first tip off that this wouldn't be a great experience.) The man on the phone was polite about setting up an appointment except he insisted that my husband be home - I told him I wasn't married and he continued to press to make sure I was the only one who owned the home (I guess a 27 year old who owns her own home was a shocker to him.) I got a call the day before the first scheduled appointment to confirm and had to change the date to the following week. I was away at a wedding this past weekend and misplaced my phone. When I got it today I had four missed calls yesterday at the following times-11:08, 4:25, 4:43, 6:56 and then another missed calls today at 10:59. These calls were to confirm my appointment for tonight - two messages were left. The second message was from Mike saying they didn't want to seem pushy but they wanted to confirm. I called to cancel my appointment (after having read about the pushy salesmen on this site) and was asked when I wanted to reschedule I told them I didn't - the man on the phone asked why and I said I didn't like that they had called so many times and seemed to be trying to push the product. I read a few other reviews that said their windows were way more expensive than originally anticipated (based on the mailer.) I also said that they had a low rating on Angie's List. He told me that the companies were franchises and that this particular branch has an A- (They really have a B)...all reviews I read said bad and pushy salesmen and windows were very expensive. I asked the man on the phone, who had turned rather snippy with me at this point, if they worked on commission. I am in sales and know all the signs of a good and bad salesman. He got defensive and said "I don't work on commission". I then said, I asked if your representatives that come to the home work on commission and he fumbled around for an answer, or a way to say yes while seeming to say no, and I said that I wasn't interested. Knowing sales very well I know that the person selling the windows usually doesn't know much about the product (other reviews agree) and the salesmen will try and push the most expensive product without caring what the cost is to the customer. Like I said, I did NOT have any service done and I am very glad I did not invite the salesmen into my home. They may make great windows, and from all accounts on Angie's list they seem to, but so do many other people who DO NOT work on commission and who aren't going to push the most expensive option on you. I would have allowed them to come and give an estimate had I not received 5 missed calls within hours of each other!

The window are great but I have not noticed any cost saving in energy bill. That may mean that my existing windows are not that bad but they did not open easily and the storm windows and screens were very inconvenient So I am happy with the Andersens. The price was very high but I also recieved a $1500 tax credit.

The work turned out very well. They were some small problems when they finished but they came out and fixed those quickly without any problems. They were very courteous and very quick to do the job. The job appears to be quite successful.

It turned out very well. They were clean. They were efficient and pleasant. They were very professional, but it was a bit pricey.

It turned out very well. We were very pleased with it. The price was good, a bit on the high side of average but excellent considering their product. They were very good about scheduling. They were reliable good about keeping in contact so we knew what was going on. When they came they were very efficient. They sealed up rooms and didn?t make a mess. Everything was clean and neat and ready to go when they were done. They did a very good job. They were very professional. I would definitely recommend them to others. This current office in Philadelphia is relatively new. They took over for a different one who had very bad reviews. This is a different crew.

It is great. It was really expensive but our windows were totally rotted out and they had to replace the frames and sill. They look great. They were little dirty. I don?t like their sales technique. They put a lot of pressure on, when they came, which we don?t like.

The salesperson was horribly pushy and crass. We like the windows but decided not to use the company again because of this particular salesperson who is still the rep in our area. The price was very expensive. The professionalism grade was for the installers.

I wasn?t satisfied at all. I was very displeased. I wouldn?t recommend them. They sent out people that didn?t know what they were doing. The windows were all right but I wasn?t satisfied with the workmanship. They came out in an ordinary pickup truck without any logos. Of the worker that came, one spoke only little English. In one area where two windows were, we requested that they be the same size. We were told they would be and they weren?t.

It turned out fine. We were happy with their work. They delivered a quality product, did the work in a reasonable amount of time and cleaned up after themselves. I wasn?t so thrilled with the salesman but the workers were professional.

I am very happy with it. I am very happy with the product. It is very high end. I wish I had spent more time on selecting the color because the energy efficient windows do have some coloring to the glass which affects the pains that show through. Overall, they were very expensive. The Kind of Prussia office was very good to work with. They were very responsive. They had to return a couple of times. One window was mis-measured and had to be reordered, which is a 4 week process. They stuck with it. A couple windows were difficult to open and they came back immediately to take care of it. The installer that came in was very good. I have no doubt that these will last a long time as they are very high end.

Our product manager, Mark McGovern, explained the windows to us well. The crew of three installed them within a day and a half. They explained the operation of the windows again to us after installation. We got what we expected. These windows are not cheap, but we were convinced that they are better than lower priced windows. Our home was bulit in 1943 and we believe that the previous windows were original. We already feel a difference in the insulating value of the windows.

Stopped in at King of Prussia office to request someone come out for an estimate for replacement windows. Was drawn there by offer of free gas card, which I received. On the date of the scheduled home visit, no one showed up. No phone call either. I called the phone number for the manager (James Dulude) and left a message but no one called back. Completely unresponsive. Has been one month and not a peep.

At the Home Show, I was able to schedule the estimate appointment. At the time I was alone. I received a sheet indicating the date and time for the company to come to my house. Nowhere on this sheet was it requested I provide marital status. The day before the visit, I received a call to confirm the appointment. During that call, I was asked to confirm that both parties (including my husband) be present for the appointment and that it was a REQUIREMENT that we were BOTH available. I asked what would have happened had I been single and was told "that's different". I immediately canceled the appointment.

Came right away but the product was too expensive for my budget, 25% more than other estimates I received.

Very well. They communicated well leading up to the installation date. The installation was professionally handled. Work product was superior.
