I have done business with Colledge for years and I do so because they are a responsive family owned business that provides a good old fashioned customer experience. They Do a lot more than tires and have handled a number of service for me. If you want to give your business to something other than a big box or chain type operation this is the place to go for that.

We have been using Colledge for about 3 years now. We have found them to be very reasonably priced, as well as honest in their dealings with us. They also go out of their way to explain everything thoroughly. We have not had a problem with any of their repairs. We use them exclusively now for all of our vehicles.

Made appointments and they took the car early both times. Inspection was completed in about 30 minutes. They are friendly and professional. I will be back for future inspections and to buy tires.

I brought car at pre-arranged time and they were finished two hours later including replacing the front brakes which was needed for inspection. I was very pleased with the service and they did not charge for rotating tires and adjusting parking brake. They were very friendly and told me up front how long it would take.

This was a quick trip to the mechanic, which almost never happens. We recently moved back to PA and had to have our cars inspected. I went to another area mechanic for our first car based on a personal recommendation - only to find out that they charged nearly twice than Colledge for the required PA inspections and told me that I needed to replace my rotors at the same time as my brake pads (as a girl who grew up fixing the car with her dad and changing multiple brake pads and a few rotors, I knew this was untrue). Following that bad experience, I actually joined Angie's list to find a more reliable mechanic for our second car's inspection. Having read a few reviews, we gave Colledge a try.
We were able to get our second car in pretty quickly, but had to leave it for the entire day. Service was prompt and friendly, and in a few hours, we had a call that our car was ready to go. As in, it PASSED inspection. No questions, no and quot;minorand quot; problems that just needed to be fixed before it passed and no and quot;recommendationsand quot; for work that really didn't need to be done. We picked it up after work, and the car was ready to go - in and out. That's the way a true mechanic should be! We look forward to working with them in the future. Moreover, I was shocked to see that the cost of the inspection was half what I paid for the first car (both included the emissions test).

It always goes great. These people are honest, and it can be a challenge for a woman to find an honest mechanic. Before the days of fuel injection and computers in cars, I used to do most of the work on my own cars, so while I'm far from an expert, I know enough about cars that I usually have an idea what's wrong with my vehicles when I take them in. I've never had any suspicion that the people at Colledge were trying to sell me something I didn't really need. There have even been a couple of times I had my vehicle in for inspection and they called with an and quot;all clearand quot; message and my first thought was and quot;you're kidding?and quot;
I say that because I drive older vehicles and even a well-maintained older vehicle is going to have things go wrong sometimes if it has a lot of miles on it in addition to just being old. Parts will fail simply due to life span, regardless how well-maintained the vehicle is. Because of this, I tend to need more auto service than people who drive newer vehicles, in addition to regular maintenance and inspections, and the people at Colledge have always been great with all of them.

They provide very good service at a reasonable price. Scheduling is good and the staff is wonderful. We paid about $28.57 for the last job they did.
