I called Atlantic Broadband up because my Internet speed was slow.  They gave me an upgrade option that was not available on the Internet for only $10 more a month that greatly improved my service.  However, their prices are fairly high anyways, so it is still not a great deal.

service reception is ok, prices have gone up steadily and there is no alternate provider available so it is pretty much a monopoly and we are stuck with them.

Mr. Flowers arrived to install a phone modem since the modem we were using for our internet did not support the phone service as well as internet.  The initial install did not take very long and we discussed a few other things with Mr. Flowers before he left our home.  The following day he arrived at our door explaining he needed to take a reading from the cable.  At the time we didn't think anything of it, but later found this was an unauthorized visit.  Before finding this out he returned one last time to talk about a security camera for his home which we were starting our business at the time of his initial install. At some point he had asked for a tissue which would leave him alone in our living room for a few seconds.  It wasn't until later that night I went to take my evening medicationss which included a pain killer that was prescribed to me.  I looked everywhere and did not find them.  The following day, after still no medication, Mr. Flowers texted my partner about the security camera's.  My partner questioned him about a few things to see if guilt would kick in.  He admitted to taking the pain medications off the coffee table the evening before.  At this time we had called the police & he had been arrested.

We had then purchased a Ceton InfinTV cablecard tuner to replace the cable boxes ABB provided because we found out about an FCC law requiring cable companies to discount any package that included a cable box(es) in the amount of their normal rental rates per box.  The regional VP at the time David Dane called us in for a meeting.  It turns out this meeting was about something that had been posted on a broadband related website, not about the discounted rate.  He told us that he nor ABB would comply with the FCC law.  That they did not interpret the law the same as we did.  We then contacted the FCC and filed a complaint against ABB in July 2012.  Since the case has been filed we still have not received a discount on our package and ABB has refused to respond to the FCC.  According to the FCC it has been forwarded to the investigation department and we have also been told that we are correct in our interpretation of their law.  Our bill has steadily gone up since we are now in our second year.  At this point we are looking for a better way to receive our phone and TV.  I hate to disappoint anyone who has ABB, but we are not alone.  If you own your own equipment and not getting a discount you can contact the FCC and make a formal complaint against ABB.  Most people are not aware of these laws.  This includes those who have TiVo as well.  Another rule states we are to receive all "Linear" channels which they are to provide, which at this time we do not receive the first 100 channels.  If you have a new TiVo that is digital only you are also out of luck, you will NOT receive those channels as well.  To look up this law on the FCC's webpage google cablecard know your rights.

I like the fact that if I have a problem I can call them up and they have people there that help me solve it and that is the most important thing since we have cable, computer and our phone all connected together.  We have had no problems with them.  Price wise they are expensive.  We are happy with their services.
