KEN COLEMAN'S PIANO SERVICE

The service was completed in two visits as my piano required extra attention as it had not been tuned in many years. Ken was punctual and very courteous. Completed the necessary work quickly and efficiently. Very happy to have my piano returned to pitch and no more sticking keys! Service made me very happy! I will continue his services for regular tuning, and he was nice enough to schedule reminders for me.

It had been 3 years since we had it tuned last and we moved since then too. Ken said we needed to do a two-part tuning in order to get it up to snuff, so we hired him to come back in a few weeks to work on it again. It already sounds much better after the first round. He is a pleasure to work with

Mr. Coleman was great! He called the night before my appt. to confirm, showed up right on time, and was very professional. He tuned my piano, fixed my keys and didn't try to sell me any services that I didn't need. I would definitely have Mr. Coleman tune my piano again.

Mr. Coleman did an excellent job of tuning my piano after another tuner sped through his work, but still charged $100 for 25 minutes.

This was a very good experience right from the start. I called Mr. Coleman to set up an appointment.. He returned my call within 10 minutes! We made an appointment . He called the night before to confirm the time and called to let me know when he was on the way. He was pleasant and shared interesting information about my piano. He was able to tell me how old it is. (It's over a 100 years old.) He suggested a second tuning as it had not been tuned for a few years. We will do that in the near future.

Ken was great! He called quickly to set up the service call, confirmed the appointment and showed up on time. Ken showed great expertise in the instrument and provided us real value in understanding the health and care of the piano. We were thrilled and would highly recommend Ken.

It went great. Ken was very professional - worked around our schedule - and knows everything about pianos! He fixed it up great - and followed up afterward to make sure it was working well. He's a great guy and great piano tuner!

He pointed out that the piano could benefit from some more extensive repairs (which I agreed with) but didn't try and push the extra work once I explained how rarely the instrument is used. Nice fellow and reliable.

Mr. Coleman was punctual and courteous and did a fine job. I contacted him again for another tuning in July and will be using him from now on.

Ken called in advance to confirm appointment time, arrived on time and was very professional. The piano was old and purchased through a Goodwill store and needed some TLC. While Ken had it pulled apart, I took out the vaccumn and wanted to start to clean it and Ken offered to do the vaccumming. He then returned on a second occasion to fine tune the piano. Both occasions he was prompt and professional. There was no information available on the piano and when I asked Ken how old he thought it was, he got out his blue book to look up the serial number for us. He was prompt and professional and I will be calling him again in the future!

Ken called to confirm the appointment. He arrived on time and went right to work. He gave me a detailed explanation of what the piano needed and what would cost extra. I appreciated that he explained the extra costs as optional repairs that could wait or not be done at all depending upon my expected use of the piano. I opted to do the tuning and all repairs since the pricing was reasonable. He completed the job quickly and cleanly. The entire transaction was professional, polite, and efficient. I'll definitely use him for regular maintenance and recommend him to anyone.

Ken came to provide an initial tuning of our 30 year old Yamaha upright whihc had not been tuned in 5 years. He was prompt, courteous and efficient. He pointed out some other problems with the piano, but was careful to express that these could be repaired if the sound bothered us, but there was no pressure. When I called him for the follow up tuning, I arranged the other repairs as well. He came and removed the "action" of the piano and brought it to his shop to repair. Again, he handled all of this politely and efficiently. The piano sounds great after his repairs and followup tuning! We will certainly have Ken provide our routine maintenance going forward.

After the 2 visits, the tone is much improved. Ken is punctual, professional and reliable. We received excellent service.

Ken was great! He tuned an old recently purchased piano for us and was prompt and professional. The piano tuning cost $95.00 and took about an hour or less. Will definitely use him again!

Mr. Coleman came to tune our upright Winter piano which had not been tuned in at least 5 years. He left a reminder voicemail message to confirm the appointment last night, and was on time today. The service took the expected 45 minutes. He came for the first of two planned visits today - a "pitch raising." I will be calling him again for the more detailed tuning appointment in the coming weeks. I received the $10 Angie's List Initial Visit discount.

Mr. Coleman was extremely professional. He called the night before to remind me of our appointment. He was running a little late on the morning of my tuning because of complications at the appointment before mine, but he called to let me know about it. The piano sounds great. He is an excellent piano tuner and a very nice man.

Ken was very professional in his assessment and tuning of the piano. He came once to adjust the pitch and then again to fine tune. He answered some general questions and provided useful information while tuning. The piano now sounds better than ever with Ken's help. We will definitely be using him again.

I called Ken Coleman based on recommendations from Angie's List. I was pleasantly surprised to get an appointment within a week; Ken even came on Saturday to accommodate my work schedule. He called the evening before to remind me of the appointment. He was punctual, pleasant, and extremely knowledgeable, explaining everything as he went along. I knew that originally this was not an expensive spinet, but Ken professionally pointed out it's strengths and weaknesses. Ken told me up front it would take two visits costing $85 each, and that's exactly what I paid! When he was finished, he even played some Christmas carols for my mentally challenged brother. What a guy!

It was easy to contact Ken. He was able to accommodate our schedule. We wished to find out something of the piano's value in order to sell it. He arrived on time, tuned the piano, and gave us an appraisal. He was was very personable, professional; and also told us a little about the action, and qualities of the Baldwin Acrosonic Spinet. He was scrupulous in pointing out both its good and bad points.

Ken was GREAT! He was courteous and kind and did a thorough job. He arrived when he said he would and was flexible to meet our hectic schedule with very reasonable rates. I would DEFINITELY refer him to someone else.
