Ken arrived on time for our appoint, was extremely informative, and decided that our piano was not as out of tune as he expected. Said we would need only one follow up tuning at that time. Professional and honest!

+ -1 moreScheduled this via Angie's list deal out of curiosity to try a different tuner. Ken showed up promptly and tuning performed. Feedback is very subjective because what sounds good to one person may not be up to par to another based on personal preferences. Having said that I prefer to stay with my regular tuner.

Description of Work: I have a very old piano that had been neglected for years at my parents' house in Rhode Island. They were able to move it down to PA, and it sounded awful. I bought the Big Deal Ken was advertising for the first tuning. Because it had been so neglected (and probably not tuned for many years), he needed to come back for a second tuning. He provided information about why this is and caring for the piano, as well as an opinion of the overall quality of the instrument (not very good, but I'm still happy to have a piano at all). He has expert judgement and is a very nice person.

One person came out.The piano had not been tuned for a long time, and it was really out of tune, so I knew before he came out that I would need two tunings. He was able to come out and let us know that we would need another tuning, and it had to be played for 5 to 10 minutes every day. I did my research and he was very reasonable. He called me saying that there was a detour and there was flooding on the road so he would be late.
