We needed a complete air and gas furnace replacement for a 22-year-old failing system. My family had used him several times in the past, although I did not know him or his company until asking for recommendations. Joe O Brien provided a comprehensive quote listing 4 options, we discussed pros/cons of each option and went with second to best option. He was meticulous in every aspect of his service and knows his business. I have since recommended him to others. Very reasonably price (not lowest, but nowhere near highest) and very responsive!

Lack of Experience. Unreliable and Dishonest. Do your Due Diligence. My Husband and I hired this company and I use that term "lightly" , to replace the capacitor in May of 2017 on our AC unit. Because of some inclement weather he failed to check the amp draw on the compressor fan that same day. We noticed the air coming out of the vents in our home would be cold one hour and warm fan air moments throughout our day. We dismissed it for awhile and then while doing lawn work near the AC Unit outside, My husband noticed the fan stopped and then would start again. We immediately called the owner, Gary O'Brien and notified him. He scheduled to come out and look at the unit two days later, not very reliable for a business owner to make us wait on work he says "he guarantees". However we were patient. He arrived on August 2nd, 2017 and mentioned the amp draw was running high and that he had failed to measure it in May of 2017 because it was raining. By his own admission, he admits failing to do this that day, but expects us to now pay him to replace the fan motor, the charge for a service call and labor on a part that should have been replaced in May. Because he was afraid to get wet. Prior to making the appointment I remember mentioning that the weather was to be overcast that May day and did he want to reschedule. His response was quite sarcastic, with a "I know how to use an umbrella". Some people have a dry sense of humor, so I just let it roll off my back. However seeing how this turned out, I guess he should have Rescheduled. He did not Replace the Fan Motor. He did not Guarantee his work and was "Not Willing to Be Held Responsible" for "Neglecting" to do a Task we Paid him a Service Fee to do. Be very Careful hiring this Contractor. He may Nickle and Dime you to keep coming out and Lining his Pockets instead of Diagnosing the Problem up front. "Do your Due Diligence". "Be very careful". Know your Contractor. Gary O'Brien is Inexperienced, not reliable and neglects his Responsibilities. Gary O'Brien should be held accountable. For us it was a costly mistake . Do not hire Gary O'Brien"

Prompt, knowledgeable, friendly. Reasonable cost for a minor repair. Will use him for annual maintenance.

Gary responded very quickly to my request to replace a defective thermostat (same day). His repair was fast, professional and he's a good guy. I would not hesitate using him again.
