At Window Nation, we know replacement windows. We’re third-generation window replacement experts who have been lucky to provide homeowners replacement windows, siding, and doors for over fifteen years. We opened our first showroom in Maryland in 2006, quickly growing to serve homeowners in cities across the country – and we’re not stopping there. We’re grateful for every homeowner who has trusted us to upgrade their most important asset: their home. We’ve learned a lot about home improvement over the years, but the most important thing we learned isn’t about window replacement. We learned the home improvement industry isn’t about offering the best windows, siding and doors; it’s about the relationships we build with our customers.

the windows were installed professionally and on time. there were two screens that needed repaired. after some miscommunication with service, they scheduled a technician who completed the repairs. we also noticed that some windows were not closing properly. again, sent a technician who resolved problem on time and professionally. you can expect issues to occur with anything you do. i measure the value of a company with how they handle the unexpected and Window Nation handled well enough for me to post this on Angie's List. i felt like they cared about my job and it showed. i would recommend them for their professionalism and quality service.

The install was not fabulous. While installing they somehow managed to scratch the large bay window. The foreman said he would report it and they would be out to replace it. They also did not install a dryer outlet kit in the window. That was in April we are still waiting for even one of those things to be fixed. Today, 9/19/19 they were scheduled to come out and fix the dryer outlet window. They called at 9am and said they were running behind and had to cancel. Seriously????

The Front Door and Side Door were both steel doors and over 34 years old and it was time to replace them. We were so impressed with our new windows and Back Door, which were installed in late April of 2019, that we went ahead, in July and ordered the Front and Side Doors, along with Storm Doors. The installation went great and Alex, the foreman was very accommodating and polite. They, also, did a great job of cleaning up. We had requested, that the molding, in the Family Room, where the Side Door was going, be preserved, so it could be used for the door again. Great job and the quality of all four doors are terrific.

Everything went great until I call the sales rep to let him know they didn't put in privacy glass in the bathrooms. Looking back at the work order I see if it said privacy glass said tempered I figured that's what that would be because the sales rep asked me if I wanted the Privacy glass. Said he would get back to me and never did

I ordered three window replacements from Window Nation and upon the contractor finishing the job it was discovered that one of the windows was missing the screen. It is now 12 days since installation and I have not received a screen, nor has anyone at Window Nation called me or given me a timeline for fixing the problem. It is so depressing that with such a small job, 1/3 of the job was installed incomplete. There was a problem with the payment and their financing department called me IMMEDIATELY the next business day to straighten out, I told her about my missing screen and she said she would be in a ticket/request to have someone fix or call me, I still havent heard anything. When there was a problem with Window Nation getting their $$$ they called immediately. When there is a problem with completing the job, they are noticeably absent. I will not recommend Window Nation to others looking for window replacement - there are far too many other companies in Pittsburgh and Window Nation does not do a complete job. I feel bad for older folks and people that don't thoroughly look over the job to make sure everything is complete - I suspect there are others out there that don't even realize something is missing.

Salesman was fantastic, the measurement person was on time and very proficient. The installation manager was the worst part of the entire experience. He screwed up the entire process and after speaking to him once he never returned calls, the installation crew , once they arrived were number one! Outstanding job.

From the beginning of the process (salesman) to the end (installers), nothing but professionalism and excellent customer service. At one point, we needed to reschedule the installation because of another unrelated house project. Their scheduler (Stephanie) completely understood to rearrange to help suit our needs. Also, when installers noticed that the capping did not exactly match the window color, they notified me immediately. They notified their installation manager, Joe, who visited the site and recommended another color, thus suspending installation until we were satisfied. They returned the next day to complete the job. Overall, I highly recommend this company for both their product and their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Mike, Nick and Dave from Window Nation were very reliable. they were efficient, respectful, never stopped working, answered every question I asked to my satisfaction!!! I love my windows!!! I also want to thank Mark who measured the windows and Jeryl who sold us the windows.. Our 0ld windows were 70 years old, not an easy task to change...but Window Nation assured me they could accomplish this task, and they did and I am one happy homeowner, thank you Window Nation, I am more than satisfied with your company.

A salesperson came to the house. We had holes in these windows that were VERY old. My husband was fighting getting new windows because he wants to take down the sunroom and completely replace it. I couldn't take the holes anymore, so I went rogue and ordered them on my own. I did have two other companies come out to give prices. The salespeople were all pretty high pressure but I can handle that. Our WN guy had the most interesting pitch. I went with WN after they dropped the price a bit and offered 0% interest. They were professional from beginning to end. They called frequently to confirm the time that they would be here. I was told that the whole experience would take longer than it actually did. The windows came in fast, and the appointment was way sooner than I expected. I was out of town with my kids leaving my husband home to deal with the installer (remember that I was going rogue in this). But even that worked out. The husband left our back door unlocked and they came and did the job without anyone being here. I couldn't figure out how to get the binds down (they had easily been up since the 70s) - so the installer took those down and hauled them away for us as well.

From the consultation to the installation- we had a wonderful experience. Everyone we came in contact with was helpful, personable, and professional. Windows are pricey, but they are definitely worth the investment. We had all of the windows in our house replaced, including a big bow window in the living room, and it only took them 2 days to install. I am very impressed and would work them again in the future!

The installers were on time and professional. They were quick without sacrificing quality of work. However, at the very end of the installation when we did a final walk through, there were some areas that needed to be addressed. The young men were in their vehicle when we noticed an area of concern where the weather-stripping of the French doors meet in the center. We could see light shining through an area at the bottom that should be sealed tight. The weather-stripping did not seem to be long enough to create a tight seal all the way down to the threshold. When we asked them to address the problem, the installer seemed rushed. He recognized the problem and suggested we go to any local home improvement store to buy adhesive seals for the area of our concern. He stated that they usually have more seals but he did not at that time. We made a comment that if we could see light that this means an energy efficiency problem as well as bugs could easily crawl through the opening. The installer agreed, but stated "this is still much more efficient than the very old and damaged steel doors you had up." This was upsetting and we asked him to address the problem before they left. He then ripped off an adhesive seal from the inside door jam beneath the hinge area of the active door damaging the paint color of the inside jam. He asked us if we had any type of adhesive he could use to reattach the seal to the area in question. When we told him we did not, he said "I have something in the truck." He put the adhesive seal in place and this corrected the problem, but now we wanted to know how he was going to fix the paint damaged he caused by ripping the seal off. He asked for the touch-up paint that he had left with us and he proceeded to apply touch-up paint to correct that problem. Until this situation happened we were ready to provide and excellent feedback report, but that situation changed our opinions to good.

Sales guy Sam has been awesome to work with. The installer was a tad gruff, but overall he was fine to work with. There were a couple of issues with the windows when installed, but they were quick on their plan of action to fix everything. Should be finished up in the next week or two with the fixes. All in all a very good experience and we are very excited about our new windows!
