All went well. I was very happy with professionalism, quality of work and end result.

The first visit went well. Joe was on time and very professional. Said the rollers needed replacing and he did. He said everything else looked okay. Two days later one of the doors did not work. The door was jerkey and did not open and close. I could not use it. I called Apex and explained the problem and made an appointment. The morning of the appointment, Apex called and asked if they can schedule it the next day. I said no as my wife and I both work. So, they came. Joe arrived and said one of the springs broke. He fixed it and charged me an additional $192 on top of the amount from the first time. Later that morning, after my wife told me what Joe said was the problem, I called Apex. I have a hard time understanding and believing that two days after he worked on the doors that have not had any issues in a dozen years a spring coincidentally broke. Though I am not a garage door technician, it seems far fetched to believe this, particularly when he said all looked good after his first visit. When I called Joe, he was very defensive, insinuated that I was being unreasonable and in his many years of doing this, he said these things happen. He was concerned about what I was going to write as a comment on Angie's List.

They were extremely friendly and professional. It just turned out that I didn't need the service afterall so I asked Angie's List for a refund. I would use them in the future if I did encounter a serious problem.

Same day service. Service was professional, fast, and job was well done. The door operates better than when it was new. When it comes time for any future work they are my go to company.

Excellent service and repair.  Richard explained everything to me and showed me how to take care of my garage door (which I never knew).  He was on time and worked hard and fast.  Extremely polite and cleaned up the area where he worked.  My door looks new and is finally working very well.  Great company.  I have already recommended them to my neighbors.

I got Apex from Angie's List last year and gave the information to my daughter who thought she needed a new garage door.  Apex arrived and said she didn't need a garage door just new cables, etc.  She was very, very pleased with their work.  So when my door opener went, I called Apex.   The owner/salesman arrived, reviewed the job, told me what I needed and gave a quote.  Apex installers arrived right on time, were very professional, did an excellent job, cleaned up and explained the mechanics of the door opener thoroughly before leaving.  A week later, I had a problem with the garage door not closing.   It was something I did; not Apex.  An Apex technician arrived within hours, adjusted the part, without charge.  Everything has been working perfectly.

Joe came and immediately assessed problem and repaired it quickly.  He also took a look at my other door in addition and did a quick review and recommendation for maintenance/repair long term.  He was very accommodating and efficient in his work.

It went fine. We had them out here twice. They charged $90 for coming out and I got a little upset but maybe I shouldn't be. If you mention Angie's List, you get 25% off of the cost. The first time they came out, they must have taken 25% off because it came to $72. That was okay. They did what they were supposed to do. We did not think of something else that they could have done at the same time. We had to call them back because my remote in the car would not open my door and that was a stupid thing because it was just a matter of us pushing the wrong button that locked it and we didn't know this. We had them come out again and they would not give me another 25% discount. They wouldn't do it. They said it's only once a year. I was a little concerned with that, but I guess that's her policy. It's over and done with. We paid it. I asked why because they had to come out again and the second time they came out was because of our stupidity. We had a little thing on the front porch that if you dial in a certain number, the door won't go up from the front. They did do that. It was $90 for coming out plus whatever. We think it was quite a bit of money for very little, for them coming out and doing other work, and it's our stupidity. They would have given us a discount on coming out. We did not have them come out for some major thing. It's really so ridiculous. Other than that, I can't say anything was wrong. They came out and did their job. The only thing I can take issue with is coming out twice, and one time was just a very short time after the first time. Both of these took place within a couple of weeks. I think we would use them in the future.

The company was punctual and professional they completed the job on time and work the whole time they were there.

I wasn't actually there for the service itself, but the garage door is working perfectly.  They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves.  We have had no problems so far, and I would recommend them.

Estimate was prompt & fair. Installation was professional and quick. They had to move some things in crowded garage and were very neat. Cleaned up and removed all old door parts. Very good job in all respects.

Worked was completed on time and fairly quickly.  Very happy with the overall result.

Price on the actual garage door was very competive.  The opener was a bit pricey due to the limited selection they sell themselves.  That was the only downside.  Otherwise they are 100% a company to look into for your area.

Estimator came out while I was at work. Called next day with quote. He also sent quote to me by e-mail with specifics of what would be done. When I called to hire, I also asked if he would come back out to show me exactly what I would be getting. I was called two days later to schedule installation (originally for 9 a.m., called to confirm the day before and change time to 10 a.m., but did not come until 11:45 a.m.). Installers were done in an hour and a half and did an excellent job. I even got a bonus -- the wood frame was covered with PVC, which I did not expect. Workings of door and maintenance was explained. They completed the job by cleaning up nicely. The door is beautiful!
