I called this company along with three others for estimates. All had high ratings here. This and one other company were quick to respond to an on site estimate. Another place wanted to charge me $40 and one other diagnosed my problem incorrectly over the phone. They were out within a few hours of my call on Thursday and the repair was done on Monday. While out he actually fixed a small problem with the other door also.

Despite a serious health issue with the owner a day after we first spoke, this job was done quickly and well. I would have understood if it had to wait a week or two, but Jack Farrell and his son are clearly very conscientious and care about the customers. I am very picky in terms of any service provider and this company exceeded my expectations. Plus, their price was less than a couple of competitors I checked.

My experience with Jack Farrell Garage Doors was extremely positive.  Jack arrived a day after my initial call to give me an estimate.  He noted correctly that our garage would would require a door that fit on a low clearance track, and gave us a catalogue with several options from which to choose.  We selected a Clopay long panel door, model #4053, which was 15 feet wide and 7 feet high.  I was pleased to learn that the installation would include new extension springs at no additional charge.  My wife and I also decided to purchase a new garage door opener at the same time, and opted for a Liftmaster, model #3280.  Jack added a keyless entry pad at no additional cost, something I believe was a "bonus" at the time and may no longer be available.  The low clearance track made this a special order from Jack's distributor, so the actual installation did not take place until three weeks after we placed the order.  Jack and his partner did the removal of an old wooden door and the installation of the new one and the opener in a single day.  They removed the old door and other debris, and left the work area very neat.  Jack showed me how to work the key pad and explained that the garage door should be lubricated periodically to avoid problems and extend its life.  A few days after they left, I noticed a clicking sound when the door was closing.  I called Jack and he came the next day, made a minor adjustment, and the door has worked flawlessly since then.  Jack Farrell Garage Doors has my highest recommendation.

I called for service information after I believed that a spring had broken on one of my doors.  The representative on the phone explained the upfront service charge and what the cost range was for performing the repair.  A technician arrived within an hour or so and reviewed the problem.  He reset the lift settings on my opener and serviced the mechanisms.  He offered to take a look at the opener while he was there as well.  Maybe the most important detail here is that I wasn't even home for the service call!  I was able to give the technician access to my garage through the other door's external keypad.  The tech called multiple times to discuss what the problem was and what he was doing.  As my garage is detached, I was comfortable giving my keypad code.  This saved me the trouble of leaving work or having the appointment made on my day off.  A job well done and I appreciate your help!

Mr. Farrell replaced my two very old Sears garage doors openers with new Liftmasters, he also re-connector the garage door butler that my locksmith installed on one of the door openers. He and his son completed the job for the openers within two hours. He was neat and clean. Amazed how fast the two of them were able to complete the job. I went back to work within the morning hours. A couple of month later I asked Mr. Farrell and his son back to install two new insulated this time garage doors. He installed the doors and made adjustments appropriately. Again a professional job done well.

They were very prompt in getting back to me and they gave me advice. They told me everything that I needed before they can do the work. They are very professional and their estimate was very reasonable.

Jack was very professional. He returned my call right away and was very punctual. On the day he was scheduled to come, we had severe weather and I thought for sure, he would cancel, but he didn't and showed up in time! He was great and prices were very reasonable.

My partner emailed Jack initially, and he called back on both phone numbers provided on the same day.  He arranged to meet at our convenience to look at the doors and confirm the measurements.  He was going to do the job on the following week, but had a cancellation so was able to install both openers the following day.  We're very happy with both doors and our experience with Jack.  We recommend him highly.

Mr. Farrell responded quickly to every call we made to him.  He came out to give us pricing quickly at a time that was convenient for us. One of the two doors was not in stock and needed to be ordered.  Mr. Farrell gave us an approximate timeline for installation and it was done within that timeline and promptly.  Mr. Farrell cleaned up everything and there was no debris left behind.  We are very happy with our new doors and we made the right decision by choosing Mr. Farrell's company for this job!

The service went very well.  The electric powered garage door had come off the track, and within a short time, it was back on the track.  Additionally, Precision Door Service did  a safety check and replaced cables and other maintenance needs.

We are very pleased with the service and will use this company inthe future and recommend them when the opportunity arises.

Contacted on a Wednesday afternoon and left message on company machine.  Received call back within minutes.  Showed up an hour later to review my door issues.  Said my door was no longer made, but that he should hopefully have the part needed.  Called back an hour later to state they did have the piece needed for replacement and scheduled an appointment for 1 day away.
Jack himself did not show up to do the work, but a pair of his employees did.  They called me to see if they could arrive early due to finishing another job sooner than planned.  I oked that.  They arrived almost 2 hours ahead of the scheduled time and the work was done in less than 20 minutes.  The techs even fixed up some of the installation errors that were done by the original builders and now the door opens and closes more smoothly and easily than ever.  Costs were still exactly what was quoted as well.
Very happy with the speed of response, the work done and the prices involved.
