Description of Work: I inherited 4 acres in the Honesdale area in 2001. My husband and I decided to build a spec home, act as the general contractors and hire subs. Not a wise decision at the time. Most contractors here are not accustomed to working as subs. Quite a learning experience/curve. Fred Hiller was the 3rd electric company to reply to our phone call. He explained that he'd work for an hourly rate, he works quickly and we can purchase the materials ourselves or he would price it out too if we wished. We priced out the panel, breakers, wire, fixtures etc. working from Fred's list. He looked at our prices and sent us to his supplier and worked out a better discount than we had with our contact.
