* The cost was a bit higher than the estimate due to
moving crew taking longer than the two previous moving companies I had
used to move the same items. It was a hot day, and the crew did take a
number of breaks.
*A number of boxes and other items were left behind by
the crew, including items they unpacked. These items were left after the
crew asked me to identify any other items that should be packed.
*There is a 6" scratch in the hardwood flooring in
the new house and several other scrapes/ scuff marks.
*The washing machine was broken during the move - the
wash tub is unbalanced and will need to be repaired or the entire unit
replaced
*The dining room table is covered with a sticky
substance. Based on the spray pattern it looks like a soda sprayed on the
table
*A number of small, minor items were literally thrown on
the floor and left behind
The crew was nice and offered to help with rearranging furniture and relocating other items while we unloaded.
Other than the above items, the move went fairly smoothly until the end when I mentioned some of these items and received a curt reply along the lines of " we didn't do it, and even if we did this waiver says we don't pay for it."

Over all I would recommend them again to anyone who was going to move.
"I have no record of scheduling an estimate with Mr. [member name removed]. Normally when our company books an estimate, we take all of your information, i.e. name, phone number, address, etc. and we put you on our schedule for a mutually convenient date and time. As I stated, I have no recollection of ever speaking to or scheduling an estimate with Mr. [member name removed]but if I did, I truly apologize and would welcome the opportunity to come and give you an estimate at a time and date that is convenient for you."
"I went through my records for the past two years and have no record of this move nor have I had any conversations with anyone about a broken crib. I have no record of any police report made against my company nor do I recall any type of court issue. I believe you are dealing with the wrong company in this matter."
"I have been in the moving business for thirty years. When we move a customer into storage, we strategically pack each item which is some what like a puzzle and therefore, you should always hire the same mover to move you in and out of storage because they may have different strategies. That being said, I have a signed document stating that this work was done in a professional manner and all goods were received in good condition. We used two dozen paper pads to cover this furniture. It is impossible for us to say whether the moving company that was hired to take these things out of storage did so improperly and blamed our men for it. This move was completed almost six months ago and we have no way of knowing who was in and out of this storage bin. This is why it is very important to use the same mover to place you in and take you out of storage because then you don't have one company blaming another company since there is only one company involved."
